Re: What do you do with the rewards you received?
by

I generally wait for the price of my tokens to be decent and perhaps have that coincide with what i wish to buy being cheaper so I essentially sell part of my tokens and get ie ethereum or bitcoin without spending any fiat. I only do projects i believe in ao im always going ro keep a good amount of my tokens as they are. That’s basically what I do with my bounty rewards. I sell a portion for fiat too since crypto isnt yet used everywhere for everything. I cant wait for the day it is and to just use crypto and stop trading from one to another.

Re: Crypto will be mainstream in a few years

Its definitely making more and more noise around tge world, but I dont see enough people on a day to day basis looking at crypto or even really knowing what it is. Its sad when we know it could do so much good in many ways. Anything could happen I guess and I really do expect more people to know of it in the years to come however how many and whether it will be mainstream by then is to be seen and gunna be dependent on how people react and if its positive and feel they need it.

Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ?

Well through doing a bounty campaign like say translating a whitepaper you really get to know the project in and out, the team and everything about it. I see it as a great source of information while you earn a reward for learning about something you might not have otherwise. Airdrops, there are a lot of scams. Im definitely with bounty campaigns, but nothing wrong if you see something in the ico doing an airdrop and wish to sign up for it and get some free coins.

Re: Do you think this year will be Red?

Im guessing you mean generally on the low vs last year at the same points in time? Otherwise no I dont think the whole year will be red. Its lower than its been in a long time right now at this moment, but perhaps you should just see this as a good time to buy potentially. I at least still believe in crypto and as long as we all follow that trend(of believing it will thrive by supporting constantly through ups AND DOWNS) at some point in the future and very likely second half of this year we should see growth again or at least stabilisation in the market compared to last year i reckon. This is just what I feel and think, entire thing might crash, but lets not let it Grin

I wouldnt put all my eggs in one basket ehich im guessing you dont plan ti but just in case im letting you know. Price of eth today is lower so youll need to spend more of your total eth to make a decent investment, just know this. Have a look at different whitepapers to get full comprehension of what you are investing in first and make sure the team looks like its up to the challenge their product or service entails to ensure you arent just throwing your money away. Remember you want the project to thrive. Good luck

I expect widerspread of crypto currency or at least bitcoin. Im hoping that in the close futur we will see crypto applied everywhere slowly. To be able to use crypto just as easily as fiat to buy whatever you need would be great and definitely bring its value and expansion to higher levels.

Re: IS DECEMBER AND JANUARY OUR MAJOR TARGET?
by
Shavedcoconut
on 06/06/2018, 15:02:51 UTC
If it follows the trend from last year then it very well could be especially december. History has a tendency to repeat itself havibg these “patterns” that become periodic and then theres the market just being unpredictable most of the time. Who knows? It sounds likely to me but we will have to wait and see while we believe. Hold on to your coins until then at least Smiley

Re: Do I need to sell all alts?
by
Shavedcoconut
on 05/06/2018, 21:40:03 UTC
No, you dont need to sell all altcoins. If you believe in its potential then keep and hold it. If you see another coin being more profitable just sell it and buy that one at the right time to get the best bang for your buck. If you want you can always partially hold your investment and sell another part for something else and then you dont have all your eggs in one basket. Its honestly up to you and how you view what you invest in and what direction you, again, see it going.

Well it will for sure have ups and downs constantly like any market. Perhaps what you are referring to is a consistent downward trend for 2018? This i could see happening and having a strong spike end if year/beginning of next year again. Just a guess of course, we will have to see.

Yes, I do. I heard about the hack, but I havent experienced any issue myself personally, luckily. Hardware wallets will always be tge safest bet though of course.

Re: Why BTC is under $8K?
by
Shavedcoconut
on 28/05/2018, 17:15:21 UTC
Now BTC is under $8K, do you have any opinions about this issue?
We think BTC will go uptrend to reach over $10K but it can be now.
You call it an issue, but thats totally subjective since if im looking to but its actually more convenient for buying. Im guessing you are holding bitcoin and are waiting for it to grow and not drop in price. All I can say is be patient, lots of people believe in bitcoin and will be looking to but now or patiently holding like you might be. It WILL grow, give it time Smiley

Re: Bitcoin making alts useless
by
Shavedcoconut
on 26/05/2018, 00:56:51 UTC
No, I dont believe bitcoin will make alts useless. Maybe you are actually referring to it impeding the price invrease in alts? That would be different than making them useless. As ive seen mentioned already, there are soooo many alts with real USEFUL application, not just a money alternative or substitute like bitcoin. If price depends on demand then the team behind the project just needs to follow through with the initial idea and for it to work and again, be useful so that people will want/demand it. Dont see why alts couldnt grow like bitcoin given time for people to learn about them first and find out they want to use it.

Re: Hold your keys vs money on exchanges
by
Shavedcoconut
on 25/05/2018, 21:31:29 UTC
First of all make 110% sure you are using a renowned exchange thats of course legit and wont screw you over. If you are watching the market and know you will be buying or seeling inn any moment, id advise to keep just enough in your exchange account in the case of buying since you should have a clearer idea about how much you wish to buy vs what you might want to sell. Keep moving what you wish to hold long term from exchange to wallet(preferably offline hardware wallets or similar since they are safest) and thats that! Its really up to you, hut i personally would not trust anyone with my crypto investment or money for too long or if we are talking huge amounts. Hope this helps Smiley

I havent used it personally, but I know so many that have and have had a good experience so I am pretty positive they are legit. Ive noticed they feature most new erc 20 tokens soon after token generation event which is great if you wish to trade or sell your tokens right away.

Re: What Make altcoin or token be valuable?
by
Shavedcoconut
on 23/05/2018, 23:11:14 UTC
Id say it depends on the tokens application and how well received it becomes or how muxh it is used. Basically higher demand for it since its USEFUL. Analyse the projects well and get a feel of the community backing it to know whether you should hold on or not invest to begin with.

Im awaiting a few bounty payments myself from projects/ICOS ive supported and done work for and havent got to this stage yet but I ask myself what I should do exactly aswell. As far as I know, you should hold it if you dont need the money right away and especially if you believe in the project itself. You could partially sell it and partially hold even, its always an option. You dont need to sell it all or hold it all.

Re: Can Eth Hit 1000$??

This year? Inn my opinion most definitely! Eth has some great applications and i can see smart contracts becoming less alien to the majority and being incorporated into more or less everything with time. This will all influence its value more and more on the upside

Re: Bitcoin can return $ 20,000?
by
Shavedcoconut
on 10/05/2018, 14:25:22 UTC
Except for making a relatively quick profit I really dont see the need for bitcoin to increase its price as fast as many people are saying. What we really need is for bitcoin and crypto in general to be applied all over the world in all types of businesses and therefore become recognised as a currency. In doing so, it will normalise in our society, people will use it, value will increase at the same time since there will be higher demand. Basically, i believe we should want it to be a currency, for it to have an actual use/application and more people that didnt want it before will start to want it.
