Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin?

Putting all your liquid funds into BTC is a surefire way to totally screw yourself over, and would put you in the bracket of "high risk" investors. I suggest you diversify instead of doing this...

I would put around 20%-40% in bitcoin. I personally have 20% of my money invested in bitcoin

what will happen to my coins in blockchain.info on Aug 1
by
Shawns
on 18/07/2017, 20:37:19 UTC
Im a bit afraid since 1 augustus is coming quick right now.

I have my coins in my blockchain.info web wallet for over 2 years now, I have my private keys and my account is 100% secured & verified.
All my coins aren't in a imported wallet adress.

Also, will blockchain.info choose for me on what side I'm coming when the split happens? (>Could this be bad?)

I'm new to this whole thing thats going to happen on August 1.

Let me know!

Shawn

I'd probably use 500.000$ in the first 6 months to buy a house, a car & nice clothing. The other 1.5M investing in an awesome business or invest in stockmarket.

When it comes to bitcoin, I never trust any new unreputed site.I prefer to pay more buying them on known exchange than losing all my money to new sites who offer attractive price to lure new customers.

I deciced to buy them and received them after 36 hours.

Hello everyone,

Do you have experience using coinify to buy btc?
Coinify is attached to Blockchain.info to buy bitcoins.

I bought 10$ worth of btc before with them and I received them.

Now i want to buy around 0.2BTC from them. Shall I just do it?

Thank you

We're experiencing an amazing growth to almost $3000,- today, but we all know that it will have some corrections here and there.

How much do you think it will drop? <$2000,-? $2000-$2500?
or maybe $2500-$3000,-

hello guys i have two question from you
first: bitcoin price is bubble or it will rise?
two: i have some money in my bank, is it rational to buy some bitcoin or not?

thanks

1. I think this is a normal growth of bitcoin, so no bubble
2. if you want to invest for long-term, yes buy bitcoins now. If for short time, try to wait for a correction.

this is just my opinion based on nothing Wink

When the price crashed to below $2000 everyone got feared and most of them have started to sell but their was no one who started to buy if not now the price is $2400+ then automatically he is in profit.

Yes! I bought bitcoins at the price of $1980,- a week ago. Im glad I made that decision because I have made profit Smiley.

Localbitcoins business easy profit?
by
Shawns
on 28/05/2017, 22:10:55 UTC
I've noticed that I can buy bitcoins at market rate on coinbase.com and then resell them on localbitcoins.com for plus 12% of market value. Obviously, there is a little work involved. Dealing with numerous emails, small transactions, etc, and the potential for fraud.

However, it's not a lot of work, mainly just pushing the escrow release button 4-5 times a day after verifying deposits into my bank account.

Since I can sell around $1200 in coin per day, minus 1 percent for localbitcoins and 1 percent for coinbase, I can net about $120 per day, which is currently more than my day job.

Now, if something seems too good to be true, it generally is. In other words, the profits seem too easy for the work involved, that I worry that I'm missing something? I would think that the ease of profit would encourage more people do to it, thus making more competitive prices on localbitcoins and driving the price down.

What am I missing?

EDIT: I live in Europe, the laws are different here than in USA for banks.

Calculating your profits

This might be a very easy thing but still
For example:

The price rises from $2500 to $3000, this in an increase of 1.15%.

So should I do 1.15*(the bitcoin amount I have now at the price of 2500) ?
