They release it at different times of day so people in different time zones can purchase it, also cause of unpaid crypto orders.
correct, probably to do with unpaid orders. It's amusing though, ppl are buying a miner which they don't know anything of.

I'm surprised who would still be buying it. considering you never know when eth team would pull the plug on it after they receive a unit. I just feel its kind of risky to buy them with shady business practice of bitmain going from 800-2200 you never know when the price drop might come

i think we might see a bitcoin miner before a litecoin miner. with the constant changes to prices and stocks by bitmain I feel we are very close to a new release
we are in the process of starting hosting in our facility. We will have 2MW spare power where we could host at a price very close to your target price.
Our facility is fully insured against theft, fire etc and a part of a freezone so there is no extra charges of duties.

its strange your image shows nh109 51mhash but on your panel virosa.ethosdistro.com you can see nh109 last reported hashrate as 37mhash.
*looks into crystal ball* a bit over 1Gh/s at a bit over 250W with memory underclocked, ~300W at stock mem clock.
Bump core voltage to 7970 levels, memory to min clock, core clock to well >1.1GHz and you're probably looking at >1.3Gh/s at ~400W.
Compared to $299 5970s it obviously loses massively for price/perf, but supplies of those are drying up.
Compared to $699 6990s, even at $899 it looks like a clear winner; higher density, higher efficiency, better price/perf.
And likely far greater % of retained resale value.

I am willing to pay upto USD100 to anyone who can sort out my Ubuntu related issues. Two of the basic issues I have for now are:
I have installed Ubuntu 11.10
1) Installing graphics card drivers for my AMD HD5970 x 2. When i install the drivers and restart the computer, it hangs on startup screen.
2) create vnc server with tightvnc and a viewer as well.
I am very new to Ubuntu and would appreciate anyone who would be able to guide me with the basics.
