Anyone using these devices? I turned all four offline summer last year. The prices for electricity are to high over here.

Also the difficult raised so high, it‘s frustrating. Would ne nice to get somewhere the amount of coins like 2017/2018.

Are there new models coming out you are looking for?

Hey Guys,
since a few days i have a strange problem, the miner work still and do everything but the gui is broken and buttons don't work. No change possible.

First only 1 miner now the 2nd.

These are probably the ones with stock image (not 100% sure), the other two with new firmware don't seem to be affected. Anyone had this before? Don't want to open them for nothing.

Things like:
Loading angular.js the first time might take some seconds... Hang tight!

thx
Hi, try another browser, allow the java on your browser, clear browser cache CTRL+F5

I already tried to clear the cache and used different device. The iPhone is at least possible to change some miner settings, really arkward.

Maybe really Firmwareupdate. Sad

Anybody know how to ease check which is actual running?
you probably could check the orange pi. that's what i used to fix my issue.

What does check mean? Buy a new one?

So when do you reply to the real questions? Not to the bot army.

What about the old projects, why abandon them? You Never complete them, instead you took money and scammed a lot of people.

The roadmap seems this is another bad scam, but this time the market won’t give you a boost so nobody will send you ETH this time.

If you want to start a legit token/coin then do not a fake roadmap with not content. Whitepapaer i saw is also a joke scam.

You sadly can’t be taken serious after what you’ve done.

If you want to start and gain respect, refund all people who supported you and believed in your project eBit..
As it won’t be complete you have to pay all people back. It is illegal.

Internet makes traces, so you have time to do it. Do it while you can, not all people are happy about what you’ve done. Maybe turn around while you walking.

Can i run the pizero image from G28 on my X10?

Wondering this too.

EDIT:  Did you find a link to the G28 firmware?  I can't find one.

They won't upload it.

I will buy one and try to extract the Firmware to use them with Giant X10. Regardless if it work or not i will upload it for the other X10 users.

I'm an IT administrator and Hardware enthusiast and did an training as programmer (3 1/2 years). Hope thats the correct translation.

Hallo,
which pools generate such Nethash? Any overview?

Suprnova and Miningpoolhub seem really small. The nethash is TH/s, this doesn’t fit.

These are the pools listed on homepage and are the most common used i think.

Mining related question.

Thx

Seems they took 2 Units and sell it as bundle.
Also a bit clock improvement from the X10 chips, they are probably capable of much more.

If you switch them off they will run for a few minutes 15-30% faster. That could be normal but is locked inside the code.

So I think we do have here ‚OC‘ giant X10 bundled as 2 units.

So I discovered one of my hashboards died last night on one of my two X10's. These are from the $1600 batch at end of May/start of July (5/26).

I noticed my hash was low on one rig consistently and it was only getting 3-3.5 GH/s on Skein; so I pulled up the web portal and noticed one hashboard was reading 49*C while the others were 35*C like normal. This 3rd board was actually submitting shares and and DOES somewhat hash; but only at 10% the speed of a normal board. So if the two other boards submit 50 shares the bad one will put out 3-5 maybe.

I soft-rebooted the miner a few times and the temp no longer gives any reading other than 0*C (wonder if it burned up?) I contacted support and since I'm just about 3 months old i'm out of warranty and pretty much SOL :/. I talked to a friendly tech on the phone who suggested I take it apart and switch the hasboards around but to no avail. They offered to sell me a new hashboard for around $300 or a new unit for $900 with $92 ship (so basically full retail for a replacement board).

The miner can still run with 2/3 of the hashboards but for a barely 3mo old unit @ $1600 + ship there's no way i'll ROI with only 2 boards and 3 GH/s.

I will take off the heatsink of the bad board later today and inspect for damage; I didn't see any when swapping the boards last night but I suppose it would most likely be under the heat sinks if there was any.

I got something like this with the hash board. It didn’t recognize all boards.

Try to take off PSU for at least 30 minutes. Unplug all connections, clean it with air (sry don’t know the right word) from dust and then put it all together. Sometimes there is a mini gap and this causing some shit.

Maybe you switched SD cards for new algos and left a gap.

Also be aware of ESD you have to use gloves or use other things to connect to the ground. Otherwise you may killed it by yourself at switching sd cards.

At the end you have maybe to switch off the whole power up to 5 times until all boards are shown correctly.

I was about to order parts from them but got it this way working 2 times. One of my four is a little bitch, all other working fine.

Greetings

I nearly freaked out mine are getting 38 degrees Celsius. So close to 40.

Now i‘m relaxed after I hear how high they work fine.

Room temp is around 30 - 31 degrees.

Miner at 70% fan speed (more speed changed not many, but reduce lifecycle)

I keep humidity below 50% (important!) and above 30%.

Dust filters keep them clean, so I think i‘m good to go.

I am around $6-$15 per day for months now - Average is right around $10. I use awesomeminer with miningpoolhub and nicehash - all algo's are configured that each pool has available - automatically mine the most profitable algo/pool.

So to me, yeah it's worth it, and if they actually add new algo's again, that will extend the life of BK-X profits.

Only thing I do not like about Baikal is that horrible website and doing things via email and Skype - please get a real website with shopping cart etc. It would double their sales - took me a year to finally order from them...

Now I know why you got more BTC than me per day, because you use Algos which have more power consumption.

I only use low power Algos. At the end it’s the same profit.

What is awesomeminer and how to use it? I‘ve heard about it but only for gpu mining.  Huh

To say it’s a good deal is risky, many factors. If I have used my miner money for coins I had around 200k€. Instead of some peanuts.
Maybe BTC hits 100k or more and investing in BTC would be much better because all Algo difficulties skyrock again.

Who knows who knows.  Wink

Hello,

Hmm.. it’s pretty late since the miner came out. High risk to buy this late.

Also if you are from the EU they don’t have CE-Certificates. They denie to send me some as example, you can scroll back some pages.
I bought 2nd batch and would have maybe bought more, but the risk without CE is to high I think.

Do some research about the profits and where it could be in 1 or 2 month. Actual rewards don’t have to be the same.

Is there still high MOQ? Or do they sell them separately ?

To make it short, I talked to the DGB Guys and asked them about the fork.

They told me there is none!!! Fu* you fudders.

They talk about to maybe turning some algos off in the future. It‘s not set yet! Neither a date.

Cheers, stay safe!
.. fake news everywhere

In this case, the FUD came from Digibyte itself:

https://medium.com/@josiah_digibyte/digibyte-through-2018-wallets-algo-swap-and-why-you-dont-need-to-worry-about-a-fork-a22c407319d6

But it seems, in the end they thought about it and became wise. A few months ago, they insulted me out of their telegram, when i tried to tell them... An algo switch wont change anything. In the middle term, there are no ASIC-resistant algos existing, and in the long term PoW will die...

That's why they obviously are thinking about PoS:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9aHKKvVJCw&t

„At this point in time it’s looking like SHA256 (Bitcoin ASICs) and Scrypt (Litecoin ASICs) will stay, and we’ll probably replace Qubit, Groestl & Skein.“

In which world does give anybody the right to call out a specific date and cause panic?!

It could be, maybe .. someday .. eventually.  Roll Eyes

About CE Certificate:

I got a reply from baikal, they told me they do have now CE-Labels and Certificate. I asked them to send me one but they refuse, I already have some X10‘s which they can confirm.
They only send it out with the tracking number.

I don’t know why? Anybody can confirm getting these and can upload one example (hide your details if there are some).
I don’t know if they just say it to force customers to buy it or if there is a serialnumber thing about this? I really don’t know.

Please tell me what you think about this. CE Certificates/Labels are pretty necessary to get it into EU.
Maybe you are lucky and it got through but what about next products.
For me I want to know, otherwise it could be costly play in the future.

Thx

I agree with MiCoSa, I don't think they have a CE certification.
Maybe they have CE label, but it's "China Export" instead, similar to European CE label, but nothing to do with that.

Well i probably think the same way, but how do reseller get them. I had contact with people selling 30 or more units in Germany.
That’s strange and does not make sense, this was end last year / early this year.

Oh Jesus, one of my Giant X10 is showing „no devices running“.

Reflashing doesn‘t change.

It looks all normal, just the fan is on 100% I can can hear it. Also I can connect normally and restart whatever.

I think it is probably the hash board. The pi looks like it’s working well, because I can connect and so on?

Anybody had this? I hope I can order a replacement for the so called ‚hash Board‘.

*Update*
i disassembled it a few times, cleaned it and changed the SD-Card. It work for now, but I will buy replacement parts anyway.

Well the miners do some crazy things with the LED‘s. I have some problem child but it doesn’t matter what they show if they work.

For the one who asked: I saw your temperature is 32 celcius or so, I have one miner which have 65 at the pi by 30 degrees at mining board.
I think some pi boards have heating problems. I will disassemble and put heatpipes on it.
Other miners I have 40-45 celcius for the pi‘s.

Maybe your one was getting 80 or so for long time, or humidity did not matched!
It have to be between 40-50% below 30% is dangerous as well, because electricity jumps over to other parts (sry for English).

I would suggest to try another pi.

At settings there is self recovery, amount is set at 1 but it got 3, maybe somebody help this. I tried it and atm looks good, but still testing.
