sorry to inform you but the gains far outdo the risks for a smart trader,  with thousands of stupid traders it makes it insanely easy to predict the price within a few hours to 2 days(the weekend drop).

He has confirmed himself that he gets his stuff from dealextreme.

Why do you have a problem with that? He makes a small profit you can spend your bitcoins easily.

Re: Sound card mining?

Do the math, if a x16 lane gpu generates 300 mh/s ( based off an average mining gpu), a sound card whether on-board or plugging into a pci, pci-e x1 lane, or even pci-e x4 lane is not going to do f*ck all, excuse my language. Sound cards are probably 1/100th the times as powerful as a gpu respectively considering release dates/drivers.

I have worked with computers for many, many years and I will confirm that this is false. This is just an outrageous claim.
Although the sound card mining is fake the bandwidth of the pci slot doesnt make a difference while mining.

With how stupid the CRTC is acting, You need Canada Post. They are that fastest, cheapest way to move large amounts of data across the country.

Since finding out my ISP has said they will start injecting advertising in the browser, I have been using Canada Post for out-of-band communication. Since I have a bad habit of reading fine print, I can't use any electronic transactions except Bitcoin for ordering things over the Internet (so use mail for that too).

Who are you with? :S
i doubt they will be in business for very long

one problem with this, when you mention bitcoins on paypal they freeze your account, a buyer of mine mentioned bitcoins and my account was frozen the day after.  To get it unfrozen they are asking for what im selling and ifi have a license to sell in canada.

this is dumb, you can have a 49% chance playing a flip the coin game on a gambling website and you can set the amount you risk

also 0.001 btc is a penny

Re: Dont panic and Sell...

Here's the way I see things. What happens when it becomes more difficult to mine stuff in the physical world? What happens when oil is harder to find? The price goes up.

The difficulty just went up a lot. The price was around $20 for a while. Now since it's harder to mine, I value my coins at a higher rate than $20 per coin. I wouldn't sell a coin for less than $25 now. But that's just me. It'll take an entire community of like minded people to make that happen. Either way, if bitcoins fall low, I'm going to buy them at their low price. No matter what, I know I'm winning. Prices went low? Fine. I'll buy some coins before they go back up. Prices set new record high? Good. That's a very potential future value for them that I can base some estimates on. If it goes up too high and I know it's too high, I might sell some coins before the speculation bubble bursts and buy again after. Don't worry, guys. Just play it smart. Don't take too much risk but don't be too cautious either and you'll make a few bucks. Don't worry about people panicking or hoarding. You can take advantage of both situations.
Well said, i couldnt of said it any better myself
