It is important to focus on the project and find alternative ways to reach the community. The ICO wave last year has destroyed the picture of crypto online. It's a necessary channel but offline is important, too. Besides promoting the project offline, participants of meetups, fair visitors, cloak members, and crypto enthusiasts are getting informed as wll about the security of funds, the importance of data and moreover privacy.

We were also told about article here in march for a big German newspaper?
An article for one Hong Kong?
As you have seen already, the interview with the german newspaper is out. I still wait for an official release day from Ming Pao Weekly. They have mentioned the article will be published end of March. I hope it will happen the next upcoming days.

Dear Cloakers,
Today I want to give you an update about the marketing activities of the last 2 weeks.
Additional to our marketing plan and activities I also gathered proposals and ideas from various community members and integrated them into our strategy. Hence CloakCoin is a community driven project we want to further boost the participation of our members and the exchange of ideas.
I really appreciate your dedication to support our activities for the well-being and constant growth of CloakCoin.
Current PR & Marketing activities:
We have published 11 articles which were sent to more than 15,000 journalists from the east to the west. The articles were shared on different websites, from which one was written by a community member. Big thanks to CryptoSnow & CryptoForEvery1!
Furthermore we had 4 sponsored articles within this period.
What's about exchanges? Cloak will get listed on OpenLedger!
A second decentralized exchange has given us their commitment.
Of course, in addition we still make daily requests for listings at various potential exchanges and try to participate in each voting.
An interview for a planned article in March with one of the biggest economic newspaper in Germany will take place next week.
Another interview with a daily newspaper in Hongkong is in process to be published.
We participated as a sponsor and will represent Cloak in the next Cryptocurrency Book 2018 which we hope will be published within February.
We are in conversation with known crypto enthusiasts with a very reputable name to help us to promote Cloak better and stronger.
What about the homepage?
The interface of Cloak's Website will have a make-over to be more informative for new members and investors to find Ad hoc information they look for.
The new interface will be more user-friendly and connected to all sources of information Cloak provides.
Furthermore, an CloakCoin news blog will be integrated in the near future aswell.
In addition, new languages will be added very soon!

I Know the CMO from blockpay .. i got in contact with when they were launching their system.
He is regularly visiting the Bitcoin Meeting in Munich. They could probably add cloakcoin as well.

and another has 4 million..
And btc is bleeding hard....
And polo is on the hitlist for picking up ETC....

i am asking out of curiosity... is etc facing the same problem what happened with eth/dao
i thought that etc will not have the same problems especially after the hardfork

ETH is secured from the "effect" of the DAO. That is that the stolen coins are returned.
But it still suffered massivly due to panic and lost trust.
ETC is suffering the DAO effect, consdiering the stolen coins belongs to the hacker.
There will not be a new DAO on any of the chains.
ETH has to regain trust.
ETC has to survice the hacker dump.
Im not sure what the status is with replay attacks.... its all a f***n mess.

followers of etc lost trust meanwhile

Yeah I had some extra btc laying around and just saw a major dump happening on Bittrex and just grabbed major coin for cheap. Already at a nice profit. Thanks sellers! me too

It is good to see new exchanges, stability is necessary and it will be achieved only through usage and transactions. Price is not crucial for adopters but stability of network and possibility to buy and sell cloaks on diferent platforms, and services when they need it.
