Re: Reddcoin (RDD) and its future..
by
Sidifotoskwa
on 06/02/2018, 00:43:48 UTC
I bought RDD while many people say RDD is a shit coin so don't buy it. but As I did a my own research and Price was very low I bought some of them. It didn't move  for a long time. but suddenly it started to shake and rise. Then Mr. McAfee tweeted about it then it got the required attention in cryptoworld. That's fantastic. inst it? Smiley
At the moment it is in red as the whole market is not in good mood. I believe in next few weeks RDD will start to rise rapidly. what do you think? will it reach $.50 sooner?

I noticed that some one has analyzed Why RDD price should climb up in next few months in somewhere. As I think he has nicely analyzed the situation I will publish it here.

1.Cryptocurrency as a whole has grown exponentially this year, market cap ok the industry increasing from 90 billion USD to almost 600 billion. That is after the market pullback of the last few weeks. This growth is expected to continue into and throughout the new year.

2.Following from the above, people new to crypto may be dubious of its future, so what will they likely do? Invest in small value alts such as our beloved reddcoin. Ok so they might not all integrate into the community and promote the use of the coin but some will, that’s growth.

3.When redd-I’d is released the ease of use provided across platforms to buy and use it for social media will be a huge huge selling point and I believe will grab a massive portion of newcomers to the crypto space. I consider myself smart, but it took hours and hours of reading watching videos and asking questions of forums to comfortably understand the ins and outs of crypto; wallets, exchanges, public and private keys, bitcoin versus altcoina and their relationship to each other in the market space. It’s a steep learning curve, and that’s without much delving into the specifics of blockchain technology or cryptology etc etc. When we get redd-I’d I believe that curve will be blunted a lot and make it so much more accessible to the flocks of people that will no doubt be coming to crypto land I’m 2018.

4.Community - The redd community is one of the best (if not the best) online communities I have been a part of, as far as engagement with the subject and willingness to help others. That in and of itself is a huge deal, without even considering the huge potential the coin has in and of itself.

5.Upcoming news and events - so in the shorter term let’s think about what is in store for Redd (yes there have been delays and dev team changes, but that’s done so let’s move forward), possible listing on binance and exposure to the huge Chinese market space, as well as the petitions for altcoin exchange and steam network; any of these are going to give a nice bump to the value of rdd... but more importantly there will be more awareness!! And in the case of rdd awareness is key, it’s deaigned for cross platform use on social media, it should be used by as many platforms as possible and for that to happen we need more awareness of the coin.

I don't like the wallet in testing. Wallet works fine for other similar coins so it's a pass.

Today let's talk about Reddcoin.

Does anyone think it is worth buying?

Why does it have such a big Volume with that low price?
It cheap so I could throw a few hundred buck easily without having to worry.

No.  It's garbage.  I've spent about a week testing the wallet and it's one of the worst.  Just like Apple, the first to succeed in Crypto will be the first to make a product that actually works as advertised.

Re: [POOL]Prohashing – Professional cryptocurrency mining made simple

Prohashing is a scrypt multipool that provides maximum profitability, pays out in over 200 coins, and has full transparency of operations.

Why choose Prohashing?

Simple and Consistently Profitable

At Prohashing we perform pay per share payouts, so when you submit a share, you earn money for that share in the coin you want to earn.  It’s as simple as that.  There is no need to perform manual trades, and unlike other multipools, your earnings are fixed as soon as you submit a share.  Your earnings will never decrease due to a decline in a mined coin’s exchange rate.

Payout in any coin or even US dollars

Prohashing is the one site where you can payout in any of over 200 cryptocurrencies, US dollars (though integrated Coinbase support), or any mixture of currencies.  Among out 200-plus other coins, Prohashing is the only scrypt pool that offers payout in Ethereum, and Ethereum Classic.  Other previous pools require you to create separate accounts if you want to be paid out in different currencies or only provide a limited number of payout options.  Prohashing provides all the coins you want at one site.

The most detailed statistics available.  Track the performance of your miners live!

Prohashing offers extremely detailed statistics presented in intuitive charts.  We provide live data about your miners that is updated in real-time.  See what coins you are mining and watch your balances increase in real-time.  We also track your electricity usage in addition to your payouts, so you can always know how much you are spending to keep your miners online.

Advanced coin selection and trading algorithm

Prohashing uses a proprietary coin selection and trading algorithm to consistently maximize profitability.  We distribute our hashrate among multiple coin networks at once, allowing us to mine both large and small coin networks without overloading them.  Other multipools send their entire hashrate to coins, quickly skyrocketing their difficulty and causing them to become unprofitable.  By limiting hashrate assigned to coin networks, we can mine dozens of smaller coin networks throughout the day and earn more money than our competitors.  We also perform all trades in near real-time.  Our advanced trading algorithm sells coins as soon as they mature rather than waiting multiple hours like other multipools.

Besides earning more money, our operations are much friendlier to coin developers and coin holders than conventional multipools.  At Prohashing we recognize that we can earn more money in the long term by keeping coin networks thriving rather than attacking them with hashrate and large dumps of coins on exchanges.  We also provide free block explorers (https://prohashing.com/explorer) to all scrypt coins on the pool and select payout coins.

Prohashing provides live data about the pool and your miners that is updated in real-time.  See what coins you are mining and watch your balances increase live!  We also track your electricity usage in addition to your payouts, so you can always know how much you are spending to keep your miners online.

Experienced personnel and full-time commitment

Established in December 2013, we’re here to stay.  Steve and I are work full-time staff dedicated to adding new features to the pool, keeping the pool online, and maintaining coins.  We maintain an active an open forums at forums.prohashing.com, can easily be contacted at contact@prohashing.com, and have an open phone number 814-201-6031.

I decided to pull the plug on all my miners today.  Prohashing played a part in my decision.  The interface is poor and unforgiving.   I have lost so many coins using prohashing it's not even funny.  It would be nice if you could control payouts.  Prohashing makes it seem like you control payouts but actually no logic to the payout system whatsoever.   I tried to keep my addresses updated but they release your funds to old addresses.  I am sick of this and I refuse to be a part of it any longer.

At what point does this coin get considered to be a scam? The profiles of the team look fake.  Sell it all before it's completely worthless if you're still holding.  Invest in NEO or ETH and you'll recoup your losses in time.

Hey everyone,

We have published another update for the Android app which should make the app now work seamlessly and without any issues. Google login issue has been fixed, first start tutorial has been added, maps load much quicker with all access points displayed and some under the hood improvements.

Thanks and have a happy new year Smiley

We should make a move to get CryptoWi listed on CryptoBridge.  I will send a message to the support team on Twitter.
Thanks yourself and all the best with CryptoWi.  Excellent project with great potential.

I think Cryptobridge is not the right choice to increase trading volume of CryptoWi.
Maybe if it could be listed in a kucoin or Binance, it would be better Smiley

I agree. I just think it would be easier to get it on cryptobridge first.

Is there any updates from the dev, I don't hear anything by him. What makes the price pump?

i am happy now ,hold my tokens in wallet ,long time never see them .
Theyre not active in this thread anymore, but maybe in other media like twitter or telegram? you should check it.
the last information for WIC and their last twitter tweets in november, while facebook posts last in september. but I think the team is still working because there are good signs for WIC coin price increases. I hope the WIC team post their work activities so that people and communities trust them more and can ease up the price

I am not surprised the Dev's are not wasting time responding to all the pointless requests.  Someone posted something at the end of december.  Please stop spreading misinformation and filling up the thread with nonsense.  Thanks.

Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order

I was thinking something like that as well. *puts tinfoil hat* How come that there is no 14TH/S version in last few months? I think last 14TH/s version was like in summer IIRC, since then rest of is only 13.5TH/s. And when they get rid off every S9 for 3k  Grin Grin Grin Grin they will announce new miner Cheesy *removes tinfoil hat*

I read 14Th/s batch have bad quality than 13.5th/s.
More complaint from customer...

It's true ?

Old topic... And no futures...

Stock firmware from Bitmain on the Antminer S9 isn't that great.  If someone re-writes the OS to increase efficiency, I will pay a dev fee.

I tried to reverse the system, with SSD, we can have access to everything.
But there are two solutions for now, use bmminer, and try to disable auto tune, and use any frequency (it's a risk).
Or maybe use ccminer, but it need to compile and work with Asic chip... And maybe it will be more efficiency...

The main question, is what is the goal ? More frequency ? Best cooling ?

Ultimately, to extend the life of the miner.  I use Blissz firmware on an antminer D3.  I can decrease the power consumption while keeping the hashing relatively high.  He also solved the fan noise issue.

got a D3 from bitmain and CHain #3 isn't showing.  Should I wait for warranty reply from bitmain before flashing with Blissz firmware?

I had the same problem, you have to reboot

Rebooted and restored but same issue.  I should try blissz firmware and see it shows up...

wait a little bit more. I am currently testing a version which can help in case you've chains not showing up. / temperature reading problems

My brother in law got a D3 from Bitmain.  Haven't been able to see chain 3 at all.   I just installed the latest version of Blissz, and still no dice.
I was hoping it wasn't a hardware issue but I think it is.  I should try to get another board from bitmain free of charge.  I guess running 2 boards is ok.  Anything else you guys think I could try?  Maybe an older version of Blissz firmware?

it must be hard to perform autotune, especially with completly random error.
I agree, I hope Blissz doesn't fall into a rabbit hole with this. Boards sometimes throw tons of errors, sometimes work fine. I have one board that doesn't throw much errors but craps out after a few hours if I push it too far. Also the fact that changing settings in one board (for some mysterious reason) affects the other boards. It took me days to understand and tune this thing, I definitely wouldn't try to automate it Smiley
It's not a mysterious reason.  You have 2 fans and 3 boards.
