Several people who have mined since the launch have gotten 2 to 3 blocks, while others are bragging about having found several blocks with a h / s rate well below other miners. I myself have been mining since the first day and only 2 blocks so far. I'm starting to discredit the "Equality" of the ad.
we have had way more miners then we expected, we are currently working on the pools and we have a bounty open for the first pool creation, we didnt expect there to be as many miners as there are, once pools are introduced i think we will regain the ability for a fair distribution
.... Inclusion: Credits(CRDS) does not look to exclude anyone and with that it makes it a lot easier for new users to jump onboard and begin mining straightaway. With no immediate threat of mining pools as there is no Argon2d UNOMP module and no compatible pool with that mining algorithm, we will see some time for pools to become active. Also, DELTA (the difficulty retarget algorithm) protects against Multi/jump mining pools even when pools do become active in the future ....
This coin is all about ... no pools, no asic, just you and your cpu
as for the start, this is true, but the main idea is that this is an extreme powerful and well done algo, with very little already built upon it, its a fresh beginning for tech on this algo. the creation of the first pool will be a great leap to show that people are investing in learning how this algorithm works and to show that people are building upon it
personally i believe when we first have pools, it will be the gold rush era of this coin
i am waiting for your twitter application in your bounty thread.. well, i find this project interesting. i will surely watch this thread.. anyway, may i ask how much is one CRDS?
regards.
at the moment that has not been determined, until it hits the market and the people give it a value. given the limited supply at the start it is really hard to say
Will there be a pool listed before launch? I'd like to get mining as soon as the coin is launched. Do we have to mine within the wallet solo? Sorry if this was covered. I read everything but may have missed it, I'm tired.
Mining is CPU only, done within the wallet, to give everyone the ability to mine.
He was asking if there were going to be any pools to mine in, and currently i believe that why havent been able to find out if thats possible but we will look into it to see if this is possible, as of now it is Solo mining only
Sound nice. I've never good at mining before but recently I'm interested in almost of pure POW algorithm project. So I wonder if there some of premined coins for bounty?
There are coins reserved for bounties

Re: [PRE-ANN] Credits(CRDS) - Ease of use, privacy and equality.
so all miners are constantly running a programm which summs up all existing bitcoins in all accounts and checks weather it is still the same ammount?
yep, its called the blockchain
That was quite funny.
Anyway, so I like the distribution, don't really know what to say about the algo though, X11 doesn't really allow for any more GPU and CPU mining, ASICs have taken over the mining. Why not Equihash, adopt it from Zcash. ZEN is coming up soon with Masternodes, maybe you could learn from there.
Equihash would be a nice move if we were to adopt one, but i believe Fl0w is very keen (and so am i) on the ability to develop it from a unique hashing algorithm, such as SHA-3/Argon2D
But i highly, HIGHLY believe Argon2D would be an exceptionally great idea and we can develop the coin off that hashing algo
Well, first of all the slack link doesn't work. Second, should we really focus onto the idea of replacing all the other coins? I believe that an amazing idea will prevail over time nonetheless, under one form or another. There's no real need to be aggressive, especially right now in the beginning. Why not give it a name such as JunoMoneta, or simply Moneta (check out the etymology of the word "money").
The logo should be something simple but powerful.
Hey, i have already suggested moneta in a pm with fl0w earlier and it is already taken on coinmarketcap, etc and right now with the whole "replacing other coins" is a clear end of the roadmap and not in the initial design of the coin, it is something that we see as an end goal
Then maybe Unique Moneta, or Juno Moneta, they could still work, especially since the coin Moneta is doing so bad (just checked it out on coinmarketcap).
Just a thought, but this is the difficulty with decentralizing all decision making.
As much as you want to decentralized the tool itself, the product needs a singular vision. Name, brand, differentiation is usually best built and held consistent by a designated person.
It will be alot simpler once Fl0w establishes a new way of streamlining communication, i think he is making a slack channel or some other sort of group communication so we can iron everything out
it is not important that the currency will have a finite supply important is that u can get enough important people on your side which will promote the currency in a way that it will receive common accepted value
Also remember that a finite supply does add security to users, so they know that there coins wont be devaluated, and does present the idea of scarcity, the thing that makes things valuable.
it did indeed when the first cryptocurrency was issued which was called bitcoin because people didnt wanted to replace their fiat banking elite with a bitcoin elite but the problem is that u will otherwise have mutliple currencies, what i would like to know is: does bitcoin has some kind of source code which someeone could theoretically use to increase its supply?
we need an own forum to further construct this cryptocurrency
that would be almost impossible, all of it is open source with a block explorer, everyone can see what code is exactly run on the client and nodes? 100% transparent

Agree, finite supply or at least cap on growth adds security and a sense of stability.
In terms of name, did we settle on Legion or any thoughts on Ringcoin?
Im personally a fan of Syndeo (Means "connect" in greek) and Oculus (means "vision" in greek), but we should see what others prefer/request
