Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season

Rodrygo and Vinicious are different situations. Rodrygo isn't considered in the team by Xabi for starting, he is considered as the best bench player, like to replace anyone, he can replace anyone at attacking side, so he can be bench for like 4 different players, so he will get ton of minutes without a shred of doubt, more than some starters even I am sure depending on injury and fatigue and what not.
Both Rodrygo and Vinicius are talented and useful for Real Madrid but their positions and importance are different with a higher one for Vinicius and lower one for Rodrygo. With appearance of Mbappe in Real Madrid, Rodrygo felt disappointed as he was no longer important there and no longer has chances to appear regularly in matches. With a star player like Rodrygo, it's uncomfortable feeling and surely if nothing changed in the club on how they use him, he will consider an exit gate.

Yeah. Since Chelsea won the Club World Cup, I also believe that their confidence will boost and they will feel like facing any team won’t be a big deal to them, although the season will be tough, but that doesn’t mean that as long as the club is in form, they will try everything possible to make things right for themselves.

However, you are right; sometimes Chelsea is out of form when doing it and puts hope on people thinking that they will even win a trophy. It’s when we don’t expect it that they surprise us, just like the Club World Cup; they won it, and it was surprising. I didn’t expect that; however, let’s see how the season will go for them.
Chelsea are truly improving and they are going to return to highest competitive mode in a next season. After two latest seasons for rebuilding their squad and recovery from crisis, they won a FIFA Club World Cup trophy in a convincing way that is a solid foundation for them to aim towards a next season with promising success.

They also had some good transfer activities so far while there are still some more weeks for transfers if possible, and Chelsea will begin a new season with more competitive squad than the last season.

Real Madrid is a big team, so it's natural to expect a coach who can deliver success quickly, but it won't be easy for Xabi Alonso.
They are a big club but I am unsure that their team are big one and perhaps there are other clubs with more players in their team than Real Madrid. As one of most successful clubs in Spain and Europe, it's logically that their fans always expect their club to win titles in each season and Xabi Alonso will carry this burdensome task in his first season for Real Madrid.

In my observation, the uniqueness lies in Perez mindset, he has fired several great managers and some of them after winning trophies in the previous season. Perez ambition to win trophies every season to increase the club's income has made several great coaches fall victim, including Zidane, who has won the UCL trophy three times in a row.
Firing coaches has become a tradition at Real Madrid, and it will continue if the new manager fails to win a major trophy, including Alonso. This situation is very different from other big clubs, which consistently give coaches more than one season. Despite the fact that Ancelotti failed to deliver a trophy to Real Madrid in his final season, I don't think there was a compelling reason behind his dismissal.
There are other clubs that have habit of firing their head coaches very often, such as Chelsea, Napoli or PSG but Real Madrid manage to win many big titles from La Liga to Champions League. So this habit does not harm their club success so far and with Perez as their club President, they will continue like this with Xabi Alonso and any next head coaches until there is a change at President position of Perez. The man is old enough and surely his time as Real Madrid's President will not be too longer time.

Re: Concerns on Bitcoin and Seed phrase handling

The funny part of it is that, the owner of the seedphrase does not even know that you don't need to show anyone your seedphrase which I think was the main reason why he was taking it up and down wherever he goes. Imagine him explaining it to the police man, instead just ignore him. People should be enlighten what a seedphrase is and how to keep them safe.
It's not an explanation for him at all or for anyone have similar practice with their wallet seed backups.

To remind you, all wallets actually have their warning messages on importance of keeping the wallet seed words secure, safe and private. If any wallet does not have that warning, it's not a good wallet to use and it belongs to list of worst wallets ever exists for Bitcoin users to use.

This man simply ignored that warning message and considered it as nothing, not important, useless message and he eventually ended with that terrible fault in the public.

With what you just said now I think things will go south if Satoshi wallet decide to sell some portion of his Bitcoin but is this not greed from our own side? We want developers to work for free for us, I think it's greed from our end, the aim of all investors is to make money but in return we want someone to sacrifice everything for us without getting anything by the devs, what a cruel world
It will trigger panic feeling in the market while we know that Bitcoin market can absorb that selling pressure well and very well if Satoshi Nakamoto sell all of his bitcoins gradually, not on a single day.

See Bitcoin trading volume in $ and calculate it into BTC.
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin/historical_data

The psychological effects from a whale's sell activities or even only wallet movements are bigger than its all selling pressure on the market. If it happens, market is panic, price crashes, it will give true Bitcoin maximalists great opportunity to buy discount bitcoins.

Satoshi Nakamoto sells bitcoin is different than Sam Bankman-Fried or Do Kwon sell their scam tokens like FTX or LUNA.

You are right about seed phrase storage it is big problem with no easy solution because information is so private.
I don't see any complicated issue or big problem and hard solution for making my wallet backups and keep backups safely. If you are careful, and stay humble, don't make noise, have good habit online, you won't be hacked and nobody knows that you have bitcoins.

Your habit and action mainly contribute to make your wallet backup, backup storage and your Bitcoin fund safety better and more easily to do in practice.

Quote
Every way you try to save it has serious drawbacks.
Every method has pros and cons but serious drawbacks, really?

Quote
Many ideas for storing them seem too complicated and you are right we need method that lets us get our seed phrase back easily when we need it. This just shows how hard it is to find simple and safe and dependable way to store this very important information.
Don't use complicated wallet backup methods like seed splitting as those methods are very risky.

If you know that Bitcoin private key can not be bruteforced, if you do seed splitting, and you lose one or two parts of the seed splits, you will lose that wallet, can not recover it and will surely lose your bitcoins.

There is no such thing as panic or fear in long-term investment because if the investment is managed keeping in mind the time frame of 10 years or more.
It's hard for any newbie to plan their investment with 10 years and longer. It sounds easy to do with experienced and senior investors but I am quite sure, with newbies it is a very challenging task. They have difficulties in finance and available capital for investment, and they lack of enough experience in this high volatile market in order to avoid panic sell in fud times or bear market, and they are more sensitive with ideas of taking profit.

This has always been Barcelona's issues since they started having financial crisis when they make a block buster signing with a huge wage it becomes tough to register the player until they let go of another player. Well in Rashford's case he's an important player and they'll do everything to register him since they've officially unveiled him as a recent signing for the team.
It's is a good destination for Rashford as playing for a strong team like Barcelona, he will have better chances of winning titles, even Champions League title. There are players who don't need to be super star players to win Champions League and Rashford can be a next player like this. While it's painful for many super star players with magnificient performances in their career did not win a single UEFA Champions League title.

For Barcelona, I don't know this transfer will be good for their club finance and actual performances with very uncertain contributions from Rashford.

Too much concern that emerged from several people about Xabi Alonso's journey at Real Madrid because they suffered defeats against PSG at the Club World Cup. But this is not a reason to say Xabi Alonso failed because he just started to bring Real Madrid to be better than the previous season. There is nothing instant and may take time for him to make adjustments so that foster children can be much better in accepting instructions and strategies given.
Real Madrid exited the Club World Cup with disappointment after defeated by PSG but generally before that defeat, they played well and shown some effects of Xabi Alonso and his tactics. This is good signal for more changes and improvements in Real Madrid when Xabi Alonso has more time to work with his players and they will possibly play better in actual matches of a new season.

Quote
We'll see next season and how changes can be made by Xabi Alonso in handling a big team, especially this is Real Madrid who every season will get the spotlight from various parties. He will definitely get difficulties because of the pressure when becoming a big coach with the demands of the trophy so that there will be challenges and difficulties that will occur.
The pressure on Xabi Alonso is big and he surely knew about that before signing this contract with the club. He understood Real Madrid well by his experience as a player for them years ago and success in Bayer Leverkusen gives Xabi Alonso not only experience, but also confidence for this big and challenging adventure in Real Madrid.

The transfer window has been up to speed especially when we talk about the EPL clubs, they want to be at their best ahead of next campaign that we all know will be very busy for the teams that are playing Europe competition. That aside, lets bring it back to the EPL battle and domestic competitions, who has the best attacking option? And has made the best move in the transfer market?
The transfer market is active and big clubs are very active on the market with players in and out. I am most impressed with activities on transfer market of Liverpool, and a little bit less with Chelsea. Liverpool took a trophy last season and by having very good transfers this summer, they are ready to defend their crown next season.

Chelsea are ready to challenge Liverpool and any other competitors for Premier League title with magnificient performances in FIFA Club World Cup and with so promising individual performances of Palmer and Pedro who likely are hub of their attacking system next season.

Manchester City can return while Arsenal can continue their adventure for a league title and in general, they are quality enough to do this. Only Manchester United are in massively vague situation in their player resource before a coming season. It would be another chaotic season for Manchester United with kind of bad transfer activities this summer.

Re: Why are you taking profit on bitcoin?
by
SilverCryptoBullet
on 24/07/2025, 08:26:15 UTC
So are you saying that taking profit is wrong as a bitcoin investor? I know where all this is going, there are people who would have become a millionaire today if they hold their Bitcoin since 2017 but one thing is always left out, a large numbers have people have died between 2017 and 2025, even this year alone many people have lost their lives, are you saying that these people aren't investors like us? They are nowhere to be found today.
Who are they as investors or not, it's not important with me and the crowd. The market always has buyers and sellers and everyone can be either buyers or sellers some times. If there are more buyers than sellers, buying demand will lift the price up and the others will be able to sell and take good profit. You don't need to be investors to take profit and who care about either investors or traders take profit.

You can call yourself as an investor but if you fail to get profit, the market and winners in this market laugh at you and your investment fault. If you can take profit, it's good for you and there are others who even feel jealously with your success.

Most major countries have recognized this industry. They have even recognized it as a commodity. So there is nothing wrong with profiting through this industry. Only people who don't keep up with the times think this industry is bad. There are even some people arguing that this industry brings a lot of harm. So they argue it is similar to gambling. But actually if we understand more there is a debate because we understand that exchanges such as buying and selling that have been agreed upon are not gambling.
Assest or commodity, who care?

It is about possible related regulation but beyond that we simply need to invest and take profit. What is Bitcoin in eyes of the crowd and the governement is not truly important if Bitcoin is accepted and investment in Bitcoin is legal.

Re: Has El Salvador been lying to the world?
by

on 23/07/2025, 13:35:11 UTC
Which one do you think has the power to crush the market?

1. EL Salvador don't own a single BTC, it's all been a lie after all.

2. Trump and the whole America institutions decide to give up on Bitcoin.

The role that America is playing is way bigger than any country as we speak, don't you realise? So all these EL Salvador shit talk makes no impact for me, I think you should think the same too.
Both can cause a market crash depends on when that news is released. If news released in most vulnerable time of the market and participants, crash will happen with both news about El Salvador and the USA.

Like you can see El Salvador news years ago resulted in a market pump while we all knew that this is a very small nation with tiny economy. I don't think an opposite news from El Salvador has no chance of causing a market crash. It's more clearly that such similar news but from a big nation like the USA will always have big effects on the market.

Re: Is Bitcoin just for the rich?

That is the best method of buying bitcoin DCA, that will minimise your risk. People that think bitcoin is for the rich i can says they don't really know anything about crypto that is why they said so. Because someone that is educated about crypto will always know that you can buy bitcoin in any amounts from 1$ upwards.
Don't say Bitcoin and crypto together or Bitcoin and altcoins together. Your post is like knowing Bitcoin is also knowing altcoins or knowing altcoins means understanding Bitcoin.

DCA is a good investment strategy especially with Bitcoin investment and accumulation while it can work bad if you apply it with altcoins or shitcoins.

With Bitcoin, if you DCA and hold bitcoins a long time, you get good profit but with altcoins, if you hold them a long time, you get big loss. If you DCA altcoins a long time, you lose bigger capital.

The support from Manchester United's management has always been very strong. Especially remember the times under Ten Hag, when they bought a huge number of players and basically rebuilt the entire team, but it didn’t bring the expected results, which is why he was sacked. With Amorim, things are a bit different he’s only just now, in the summer, starting to buy some players. But I agree that this is not enough to really change anything in the team.
Manchester United spent a lot of money but they failed to use big transfer budget for getting firstly good players and more importantly players who can match with their available players and improve their weakness. It has been happening in many years and Ruben Amorim is a newest head coach is given transfer budget and a task of doing this squad improvements better than previous head coaches in the club.

Is one summer enough for Ruben Amorim?
I am unsure and he probably needs more than one summer transfer season but to be given more time, he will need to show good management and performances with his players in a coming season. Too bad results, no improvements will result in a sack unavoidably.

Re: Hard Fork in Cryptocurrency: A Dive into Bitcoin's Notable Split
by
SilverCryptoBullet
on 23/07/2025, 10:33:22 UTC
No more Bitcoin forks, the days are gone and believe me it was fun, because many bitcoin holders were able to make more money by just holding Bitcoin, free fork coins like BCH and others are sent out to Bitcoin holders for free, what a great time to be alive.
Are you really sure that Bitcoin fork trend will never return?

I believe that in future, Bitcoin will have some other big technical upgrades which will be perfect chances for scammers to reuse the scam fork trend.

It is easy to know Bitcoin is Bitcoin and altcoins as Bitcoin forks are not Bitcoin and won't be able to compete with Bitcoin.

I disagree with you by saying Bitcoin fork coins were sent out to Bitcoin users for free. There is no free lunch and Bitcoin holders only can get fork coins if they use non custodial wallets with Bitcoin Private Keys or if centralized exchanges support those forks. Importantly, claiming fork coins with Bitcoin private keys is risky and if people do it wrongly, they will lose bitcoins as Bitcoin private keys leaked to fork scammers.

If he is given the opportunity to play more, I'm sure he will give his best for Barcelona, but the question is whether Hansi Flick will give Rashford a starting spot because, as far as I know, Barcelona's front line is already filled with Lamine Yamal, Rapinha, and Lewandowski. But I think Rashford is only used as a rotation option when Barcelona faces average clubs in the La Liga competition later. Well, when Rashford is given such an opportunity, it should be an opportunity for him to show his best so that management is interested in making him permanent.
If Rashford did not perform well at Manchester United and West Ham, with me, there is no reason to believe that he will contribute his best for Barcelona. If this deal does not cost Barcelona too much money, it's acceptable as Rashford is only one ace under their sleeves and nothing more. They already have many world class attacking players to compete for titles in a new season.

They need to prepare a good striker to replace Lewandowski and Rashford is not a striker or can not play too well at this position.

by

on 22/07/2025, 08:57:49 UTC
I think there's misunderstanding here. Is there any one that compares life and Bitcoin? I don't think so. Nothing can be definitely compared with life but that doesn't mean we should overlook opportunities when one comes around us. It's natural for people to make fun of others when they tried something and it work out for them while other were reluctant to take action. Likewise, people who failed to act mock them in return when it back fire. You don't have control over that. I don't care whether people invest now or not, their financial decision is solely their own responsibility.
Learning from experience and lessons of the others is better than learning from our own experience and money.

By learning from the others, we can save our time, save our money and avoid loss as much as possible but surely experience only can get by time and our own experience. For example, a newbie if don't learn from the past, will not know about Bitcoin market cycles, how psychological effects work in a cycle and so on. If he only learns by himself and own money, perhaps he needs more time (almost sure) and makes more bad mistakes, then loses more money by faults.

I don't recommend Nowpayments.io that belongs to a scam team behind Changelly, Changenow, and more scam projects for. a same team.

There are better and safer services to use so there is no convincing reasons with me to use nowpayments.io. Safety first and if we already know nowpayments.io was launched by a scam team, it is good to stay away from this possible scam. It does not worth to take risks and possibility of losing money.

Finally, speculation about Osimhen future has been clarified, with Galatasaray successfully securing the Nigerian striker permanent transfer. I believe Osimhen will have a significant impact on Galatasaray, a deal many have long anticipated.
Many had hoped for Osimhen to move to the Premier League. Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea had previously been linked with him, but in the end, Galatasaray secured his signature. Perhaps Osimhen will try his luck in the Premier League in the future, I think it's worth a try.
With this decision, Osimhen will spend almost most of best remaining years of his career in Galatasaray and it means he will not be able to participate in highest level leagues and competitions. It's kind of talent waste but it's his personal choice that was also made and the world will not likely see Osimhen playing in Serie A, La Liga and Premier League. It's kind of disappointment with me as I think with his good talent, he should find chances of playing at biggest clubs in Europe.

Finally we got a good news about Osimhen transfer to Galatasaray. The long awaited deal almost everyone is anticipating for long come to pass. I am happy that the deal is finalized, only for it to be documented, and both parties will be happy that they reach a reasonable agreement.

I will call this, a big win for Galatasaray. I will congratulate them for not give up on Osimhen after the ups and downs Napoli puts them through for the signing process of Osimhen. I trust Osimhen to pay Galatasaray back with good performance as he did for them last season.
It is a big win and also good news for Galatasaray but I am not sure it is good for Osimhen with talent he owns. This decision of binding his future with Galatasaray will not allowing him playing for any big clubs in Europe in near future. He is no longer too young to move to any big club after his 30s and it's doubtful if such transfer happens, he will be able to perform well after his 30s.

This shows that the long-term holders have built up their confidence in keeping it for long; it will also serve as a lesson to any short-term Bitcoin holders, although these long-term holders have always believed that the growth of Bitcoin in the future would be massive and be appreciated and also look up to the market cycle of its constant supply of 21m BTC. Moreover, as long as these holders keep holding BTC, it will also trigger the market price or increase the price, and it's going to be the happiest moment for the holders and the crypto enthusiasm
You missed a point that is very important. Having current long term holders to continue their Bitcoin holding in long term is not enough but in the market, it must have new demands from new investors as demand is very important.

Lack of new and increasing demand will eliminate effects from limited total supply and long term holding. Fortunately, we have been witnessing a very exponential adoption growth as well as sharp demand rise of Bitcoin investors. This will trigger Suppoy adn Demand effects and force Bitcoin to the Moon price.

I am happy that you figured this out by yourself, and if I am asked, I would say that the 21 million BTC total supply is even too much, the lower it is, the more the law of economics on demand and supply over the price would be enforced. The goal of the 21 million supply was to create scarcity, but till now, the effect has never been felt because you can easily get your Bitcoin today. I wonder where the price would have been if it were difficult to get Bitcoin and everyone held on to their Bitcoin.

That will naturally create more value!
Altcoins can have lower total supplies than Bitcoin and they can be Bitcoin forks or shitcoins. Do lower total supplies make those altcoins more valuable or have higher prices than Bitcoin?

There is nothing like that and it proves that the Demand and Supply effect only works with good projects, and quality cryptocurrencies. In this market, it's Bitcoin and I hope that no newbies will lose money to altcoins with total supplies are lower than Bitcoin, like 20M, 10M or even 5M coins.

Carlo Ancelotti was the last guy that took them to champions League, that was before xabi Alonso came in some few months back and took them the club world cup.
It is true to say Carlo Ancelotti managed well and brought Real Madrid to UEFA Champions League last season and even two seasons ago he won it with the club. However, it is not accurate to say Xabi Alonso took Real Madrid to the Club World Cup. It's what he heritaged from Carlo Ancelotti but both Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso did not help Real Madrid winning any title in this season.

Quote
There's no doubt that Xabi Alonso is experience but the technicality that is required in Real Madrid this period needs him to think way deeper, first their performance in the club World Cup was a mirage, it was below expectations and the leakages are still there.
Xabi Alonso succeeded in Bayer Leverkusen but his experience as a head coach is very limited, with only about three seasons and even he has great talent for a coach job, he will need to be tested by times and more seasons. I believe that sooner or later he will succeed with Real Madrid as what he shown in Bayer Leverkusen is very impressive. He shown some signals in early matches with Real Madrid that he will be able to do his management well there.

Quote
With the way Barcelona is formidable this time around with Lamine yamal, trust me Madrid are going to get a serious fight for the title this time around.
Barcelona don't only have Lamine Yamal and this young player needs to have good team mates around to play well. He play with team mates and win matches as well as titles with his team mates. Barcelona surely can not rely only on Lamine Yamal to win titles but they already have very good and competitive squad so they will continue to be a biggest challenger against Real Madrid in La Liga next season.
