Re: [ANN] * Mega Financial Holding * MFHCOIN * MFH

So, are there any miners that support scrypt and getblocktemplate? Seems that's the only thing, that will mine any coins on these new wallet clones. Simple Getblock work seems to be disabled / not supported. So any idea how to start solo mining this thing?

Use a striatum for solo mining.

Thanks! I'd love a little guide on how to set up the Stratum miner proxy, if you don't mind?

I would absolutely love if someone could point me to an easy solution for solo getblocktemplate mining on this software. Lots of new coins don't support the old getwork protocol anymore Sad

I left the wallet on overnight, it finished getting all the blocks, but it keeps resetting some 'additional' data while syncing going from 25 to 75 percent and back again. The default 44444 port sends out empty data to my miner according to JSON RPC. Am I doing something wrong? Here's my config file, is it used at all?

Code:
server=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
listen=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=44444

Here's a log showing the sync process going down. I'd like some help with this.

Code:

Anonymity is an important part of our lives. Mostly since I'm an artist such anonymity will allow me to unfold myself completely, without fearing repercussions from any 3rd party. It's an integral part of my creativity!

bloody good answer

Glad to help out this wonderful coin! Feel free to use it as a motto, or something Wink

Hey, as a noob to new launch coins. Where the hell would I get the password from when the wallet is released?

Cheers fellas, I got a few beers for this one. Its like the good old google dance days. (SEO)

You input that in a helixcoin.conf file which is a simple textfile in your AppData/Roaming/Helixcoin folder. You need to create it yourself. Along with lines like server=1 , rpcuser=user , rpcpassword=password ,  and rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 Smiley

Ah right, I was under the impression that the wallet will be in a passworded ZIP file when released?

Must of read the forum wrong.

Oh you were talking about that password. I assume the wallet will be up before launch and the password for it will be in the original post after launch.

Evening everyone. Will the wallet be launched in a passworded archive before the difficulty reaches one hundred thousand, or after? I got a feeling the whole bunch of Nvidia Cudaminers will jump aboard as soon as this coin is released.

Ready for the Helixcoin launch?
Yep, though they haven't released any nodes to use for "addnode=IP" configs Sad

One is built into the QT-wallet I believe. The rest one are probably discovered via P2P. If I got all my altcoin wallet finangles right. Its worse when the wallet is showing "No block source found." Let's hope the authors will release the wallet before difficulty is 100K ><

Good evening everyone. Nice to see you all again. Ready for the Helixcoin launch? I might only have a 560 Ti but I will mine mine mine. Won't settle until I have at least one hundred thousand coins. All thanks to Mister Christian here. Should I try and compile the current branch Christian, or will you do it? Five hours until launch.

PS! Any chance of further Fermi optimizations? Even GTX 750 Ti are bloody expensive over here in Russia.

I am with you again, after being away since page 191. Great to see everyone once more Smiley Haven't gotten any return on Microcoin, or Max sadly Sad Good to see Maxwell coming along. Maybe it will have some benefits over AMD's latest cards. But with the mining hype I doubt any of them would be available for fair prices.

Leased a mining rig from this person. It worked correctly except for four hours, which were promptly refunded. Was a pleasure doing business with him, quick replies and great service!

Is someone able to lease out their rigs? I'd like to lease one, but my wallet shows "maintenance." Please fix this ASAP, as I need to rent a rig. Alright, it seems fixed now, thank you!

Can any one state the maintenance reason? Or are you hogging all the rigs to yourselves?

I have been away for a while, but I'm glad people are using my and Christian's binaries for good. I'm still mining Microcoin with them. Gives me about 168 kilohashes on an OC'ed 560 Ti. It even found around two blocks since yesterday. ON towards becoming an MRC Millionaire! If anyone needs any help, feel free to get in touch.

Christian, could you please explain why the F and X and f autotuning give much much lower values and choose something else then F16x8 / F8x16 on my card? Those give me 168 kilohashes, anything else is 120-130 and autotune isn't showing those configurations to give more then 70-80 kilohashes, so another one gets chosen. I'm glad I found my "sweet spot", but others may not.

If people have trouble getting UTC working, try this:

Get the binary from silverwolf_ru in the post above.

You'll have the latest build, only the .exe

Download original 12-18 version, copy de dll's into the folder with the new cudaminer.exe

Create .bat file with the following:
cudaminer --algo=scrypt-jane:UTC  followed by the rest.

I have a GTX 660ti and this config gives me around 216 kh/s
cudaminer --algo=scrypt-jane:UTC -l K7x32 -C 1 -i 0 -m 0 -o stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pool.pm:3306 -u xxx -p xxx

At moment of writing the pool is not working, give it some time.

Even with solo mining you can still find blocks Smiley I just found one, worth 50 Ultracoins. Don't forget to tune for -l F/ X / Y / Z (depending on Fermi / Kepler architecture) and write down the fastest configurations. I am doing well on my 560Ti with -m 1 -C 1 -H 2 -i 0 an kernel F16x8

If anyone needs the latest binary I have compiled it once more. http://rghost.ru/52135455 Works just dandy with Ultracoin. My GTX 560Ti is getting around 57 kilohashes currently.

You sir, saved my fucking life. I can't express how happy I am, it's working!

You are welcome! I'm happy to help out in any way I can sir Smiley Hope the binary works for you.

The final block went quickly, difficulty 11 now. Not the 3 it was predicted. Why? No blocks for me with my meager hashing rate then.
