Re: Unveiling the truth over the major Monero scam

The anti-monero trolls here remind me of the Soiledcoin Trolls from 2011 and 2012.

They would fit right in with RealSoiled and his "crew".

So funny the similarities between the two groups over time.  Grin Grin Grin

Soiledcoin trolls? What similarities you are talking about? I'm quite interesting to know more about ''scams'', ''troll strategies'' and other things to become more savvy

Hello! What are the advantages of the multi-signature technology being included in BCN framework?

You're so random.

What do you mean?  I didn't understand you.

Hello! What are the advantages of the multi-signature technology being included in BCN framework?

The implementation of multi-signature technology allows for development of higher security wallets that will , probably, increase the interest from wider audience of people involved in crypto currency world, in other words, it will increase the  number of exchanges, stores and services accepting BCN.

Well, these are good reasons to implement it in BCN code. Glad to know that they've made such decision and looking forward to see more exchanges and services accepting BCN

That's gonna happen soon. Keep calm! Rome wasn't built in a day  Smiley

I prefer when users follow me on Reddit because they are interested in what I have to say and not because they are paid for it. The only way you can create a large community on Reddit in 3 weeks is through money. So what’s your problem? You are not impressed that I’ve not paid to bring people on my page?

I like you point of view and respect your for attracting people by your own without paying them

Some of you might remember that I’ve been missing for a whole month. So as you see I haven’t been fooling around all this time.  I’m open to your suggestions as to how to improve the website. PM me if you’ve got smth to share.

The block explorer is pretty nice. You've done a great job! Are you going to create something else to promote CN-based coins?

Nice quiz we've got here. All questions are easy to answer if you have basic knowledge about Bytecoin.
IMO, so it's very easy to get some coins.

Well, the last question was difficult for me. I've decided to try my fortune and chosen one of the answer without information retrieval

I know the answers to all the questions) I can PM you if you'd like to know the answer to the last question.

That's not fare and, even though, not interesting to know the answer. As for me, it's exciting to search through the web the answer and then you've got it you feel like you won

It's important to me to learn the truth.
Searching through the web and reading some threads on bitcointalk have finally bore fruit and now I know what's happened to BCN.

Am I right that BCN is an academic project? I've recently read a post by DStrange on reddit and a lit bit confused if it is still a project and or something more than a project

Could you, please, write a link to that post? I'd like to read it.

As for your question, I think that it was developed as a project but then developers realized that the project has a huge potential. As far as I remember, CN developers team has announced that there was a CN-based coin before BCN but it wasn't launched, and then they've created BCN and launched it in 2012.

Here you are

Looks like Adam Back is very interested in BCN -   http://pastebin.com/ZprPMQTz

Looks like Cicada is involved this project. No wonder that there is conspiracy. No wonder that goin2mars has disappeared.

This is cicada 3031 sign. I think that cicada 3031 have developed BCN and that's why it was in a deep wed for two years.

Furthermore, there is private sub reddit, IMHO, that was used by first BCN community - http://www.reddit.com/r/bytecoin/

But no one know the password to get in.

I didn't know there is private reddit for bcn.  I was thinking there is only reddit.com/r/BytecoinBCN to chat.

I think you're wrong here. Even CryptoNote developers said the BCN team exists since 2012 (https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11&start=10).
And have you seen my research of BCN blockchain?  Have a look: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.msg7467098#msg7467098 . A lot of people used Bytecoin from the beggining!

For sure Bytecoin devs have a lot of coin, but gossips about the 80% in their hands are ridiculous.

Hey fuckface - again, we're not stupid. You're using AN ACCOUNT YOU BOUGHT.

Reference: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/repaid-i-want-to-short-20btc-until-january.67496/#post-1142765 (reference to flower1024's domain / site)

Note on that domain: http://k1024.de/accountsold.txt

"bitcointalk account flower1024 sold. new account name: onemorebtc"

You're just digging yourself a hole that is deeper and deeper.

FACT: Bytecoin was a bad attempt at covering up a premine

FACT: Bytecoin has a completely fabricated blockchain

FACT: Bytecoin has 82% of the coins in control of people we don't know

FACT: Bytecoin's blockchain was not observed by anyone who is well known or trusted

FACT: Bytecoin has plenty of advocates...unfortunately they're all newbs who don't count, or bought accounts

FACT: Bytecoin's website (and CryptoNote's) did not exist till the end of last year (same as the CryptoNote whitepaper)

Agreed.

I'm not a hater of XMR of any kind but this is getting out of hands. Literally in every CN-related topic there are XMR people FUDing BCN. And their arguments are not bulletproof to say the least.

Anyway, I think XMR doing a great job promoting CN in it's community but FUD is not a good thing to do.

I'm not "XMR people", I'm an independent observer who is tired of seeing all the bullshit posts from accounts that have been purchased. Nobody cares about your shilling.

What is shilling?

I know only shilling shocker but it is used only when it comes to books

What PC do you have that you've got these errors?
Windows 7 Pro 32 bit and Windows 8.1 64 bit. Same errors on both. I've deleted everything but the key files, redownloaded and resynced everything, but still no access to my coins and no trusted downloads for older wallets. I only opened the wallet after weeks of not using it, because I wanted to buy more. I'm not doing that until there's a working wallet.

Sorry to hear you've got a problem with your wallet.

I use Mac but going to use Win 7 64bit after I would get a new monitor as the old one was broken.
 (btw I don't like Win 8  )

How do I fix this? I've had no access to my coins ever since updating to the latest wallet. I can't find links to older wallet versions.

I also do not know there to find the older version of wallet. In case if I want to backup my wallet I'm searching for old binaries.

What PC do you have that you've got these errors?

I've downloaded binaries for iOS and launched it and after 2 hours it was still syncing, is that ok?

It's usual situation. Now it require much more time for synchronization (about 4-6 hours)

Did you use command 'save' or 'exit' before you closed the window?

I have typed 'save' in command line. I've already read that if you don't save it the process will start from the beginning.

Re: Monero or Bytecoin?
by

Isn't it better to invest in different coins? As no one know what will happen to any of them?
I am really interested in Fantom coin - it's incomprehensible if MM is good or not?

btw, why did Honey Penny changed their name?

And why there is BitMonero and Monero ?

What's the point to change the name? it seems to be so devs wasted the time - better to spend time to improve the code

I'm not sure if you're trolling or naturally...you know.

A name change takes about 5 1/2 seconds to do....It doesnt effect spending time to improve code.

If the bitcoin devs wanted, they could literally spend 5 seconds, and change the bitcoin name in the QT Wallet and files, and wala, name change.

I am not trolling, I was trying to tell that every time there's some changes devs spend their time to think if there is necessity or not.
I faced with the people (my friends) who even dispute for a long time which name should they use for gadget so they are no more friends.

And, furthermore, changing name make people confused if it is the same coin or there are two diff coins.
