Tell us what this DeFi platform is. I doubt about the gas fees when it's on the ethereum (not effereum) blockchain. I would believe it if it's on Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

the platform is eggswap and it operates on expanse which is the first stable fork of ethereum.  Swaps, adding liquidity, etc, cost fractions of a fraction of a penny. The team is working on cross chain functionality allowing erc20 tokens to be traded on eggswap.

To configure your metamask for the Expanse Network, simply go to add network and type in these parameters:

- Network Name: EXPANSE
- New RPC URL: https://node.expanse.tech
- ChainID: 2
- Symbol: EXP

There is a sushiswap clone out there that is operating on a parallel network of effereum.  Gas fees for swaps are fractions of a fraction of a penny. Cross chain compatibility for erc20 tokens coming soon.

Looks like Expanse is still here developing on stuff under the radar. 

I just played around with their swap - https://www.eggs.cool - pretty cool to see this functionality and only cost fractions of a penny for gas fees..
