this is my portfolio. planing to sell in 5 months or so.
DOT
NEAR
AVALANCHE
KASPA
RENDER
INJECTIVE
POLYGON
SEI
BEAM
ALGORAND
NEAR , POLYGON These two coins in your list seem potential to me. If you want you can keep TON , SOL and Ai based project tokens like FET , TAO and some other coins in your list. But of course you need to plan a long term investment. Which should be at least five months. This bull run will probably last until April May.  And till then you have to hold your investment till you get your desired profit. But since 4-5 months is not a long time, you should not expect more than 2-3 times profit during this period.Take advantage of this bull run and wait for the next bear season

Hi.

yes, sa i wrote; i m planing to sell in 5 months.
2 or 3 times profit would be great, considering that my entrance was far from perfect and my portfolio is down 15 % at the moment.
but thats what I learned in stock market and seasonality; the markets try to shake out the weak hands; and i do feel a little pain right now. but I ve experienceed this in the stock markets as well in the last years.
right now its just about not selling.
there is a chance that there will be no more alt coin season, everything crashes and we re going straight into bear market. but that chance is pretty low, i guess.
so i ll just wait and try not to look at the portfolio for the next weeks. thats my plan  Grin

That's a lot of choice you have in there, I can't track all of them on how they did this bull run. But for sure you OP was able to do that and you're on track with them. Just a friendly reminder that many of these alts can be good based on your research and bias but don't forget your one goal, and that's to profit from them. And whenever you see that you're good to go and got a decent profit with any of those, always get that reward and reward yourself first.

Green PNL means good day indeed.
OP, you did well - just hold tight and remember to have the targets put on each coin to get what you desire in the end.

thank you.

what i already learned is:
buy earlier Smiley.

thank you all;

From my point of view starting from mid-2024, many investors and traders have collected their chosen altcoins into their portfolios in order to wait for the bitcoin halving to occur this year. Market movements are starting to be seen, almost all altcoins are up 30%, some even 60% maybe this is the beginning from the altcoin season after the price of bitcoin reaches a new ATH at the end of 2024.

The altcoins in your portfolio have the potential to have strong fundamentals and several altcoins in the portfolio I also hold it but not in the long term but when the market starts to look bearish I will let it go.

that s what i m planing to do.

A good portfolio generally consists of projects that are known for their choices and meet a benefit or need.
I just felt like you put a little too much egg in your basket, but this is personal, some keep less in their baskets, some separate more.
But if you can sell at good times and follow up, you can make good profits from these tokens.
I think the OP's portfolio is good even though the coins that I like are not in the list but as he said, his focus was mainly in the AI and gaming category. Also, those coins that pumped a little but this sounds like he was FOMOing on this one. What do you mean by a little too much? Sorry but this sounds confusing to me. Can't really tell if it's too little or too much.

But as you said, it's more of a choice. This is him and maybe he had more budget than the rest of us, for him to allocate more. If it was the opposite, then maybe he is also less fortunate. Pretty sure he would follow your advice there of selling on the right time, as this is also what he was implying there in his post.

with "pumped a little, but nor too much" i meant: they made a move to the upside, but stillabout 70 % until ATH. I know, not all of them will reach ATH.

Of course i m watching the charts on Tradingview. When they reach former key or FIB levels. I m also watching ETH ATH and the general market situation.

Yes, taking profits Smiley

In your portfolios, I only have Kas and Pol, which I also hold now on other exchanges that I also use. Because most of the cryptocurrency that I hold and have are in the top altcoins and top meme coins that I also believe will be profitable in the long run.

And I know that many are still hoping to get a profit from meme coins, which makes me cautious during these bull season opportunities in this field of the crypto space,
to be honest.

tx a lot for your reply

NEAR and RENDER are the top 2 AI altcoins in terms of market cap.
AVAX is no 12 of all altcoins
BEAM is one of the top gaming alt coins

I tried to pick a category (AI) that i think will perform good, but that hasnt pumped big yet, because i came a little late to the alt coin party. I invested the profits i had when btc hit 100 k

You make a good decision, but not all those altcoins you showcase here that will bring good profit to you in the future because some will fail their customers while some will allow their customers to earn little profit before they will disappear from the market. Why you don't include those old altcoins like ETH, BNB and Sola to your portfolio? No matter what you use to buy all those Old altcoins and hold them for 6 month before you can trade, you will surely earn profits from them in the future.

May be you have done some research concerning all those new altcoins before making your decision, and any suggestions giving to you on this trend, I don't think you will accept it, and if you will accept it, I will advise you to invest what you can afford to lose on those altcoins you mentioned.

thank you for your responses.

i sold bitcoin and solana when btc reached 100k.
i m basically investing part of these profits into alt coins now.
i think theres more potential now, but i might be wrong.

i m aware, that some of these coins wont make big returns, but i think the ai narrative could be pretty strong in the near future.

as soon as i get profound information on ways to improve my portfolio,  i will of course do that.
you mentioned BNB and i ll look into it. i made good profits with beam and might switch here.

thank you

thank you for your responses.

Almost everyone in past 2 years said DOT and AVALANCHE are very good fundamental projects but unfortunately they did not give us enough return, maybe there are lots of same project came and take their hype, i do not think they can break their ATH in near future.

ok. makes sense. but alt coin season hasnt really started off yet, has it?
but yes. others performed better. on the other hand, i didnt want to buy coins, that already made their moves without me.

How many, if any, of those things offer trading against lots of other things, maybe even almost all other things?

One of the big features of bitcoin for example, to me, is I can trade it against many other things.

Unfortunately there are many things I cannot trade it against though because I don't have easy convenient tokenising yet on bitcoin platform / blockchain.

So I find Stellar Lumens very useful as XLM lets me very easily tokenise anything else I am interested in so I can trade basically anything against XLM and, because Stellar's markets do not force all trading pairs to be versus Lumens I can even trade anything against anything else on it.

Do these things you invest in offer that kind of usefulness? I am not very familiar with a lot of them.

i m  not quite sure what you mean by "trade against"
i m also not much into the fundamentals of these projects. i look at the charts and take the seasonality in account. nothing else.

A good portfolio generally consists of projects that are known for their choices and meet a benefit or need.
I just felt like you put a little too much egg in your basket, but this is personal, some keep less in their baskets, some separate more.
But if you can sell at good times and follow up, you can make good profits from these tokens.

ok. makes since. i just invested a small amount of my portfolio into these altcoins. because i m new to it and i wanted to buy some more different coins instead of putting it all into only a few projects.

i really appreciate all your input.

i m reading, that i should dive deeper into the projects and not just look at the charts  Grin

I saw Algorand pumped recently more than 6x, from $0.094 to $0.614.

Let me let you know what you do not know about altcoins. Do not think they will get to all-time high easily. Some of them might, just like Solana did after it was about to fall at the end of December 2022 before Vitalik Buterin posted about how good developers are the ones that remain in the project at the time. The coin started to pump from $8 and now to all-time high of over $264 but now at $226.

What I noticed about most other coins. This is how they are like: a coin that pumped from $0.1 to $1000 during bull run. Bear market dip it to $10. In the next bull run, it may not increase more than $200 which is 20 time gain and the bear market may dip it back to $15 or even below. The coin may not pump more than $75 in the next bull run.

hello Charles,

thanks a lot for your reply.

i don t expect every coin i picked to go to ATH.
but i think theres a good chance that some will. thats ok for me.

i kome from seasonal strategies with raw materials and indicies.
i recently added some krypto to my trading.
i bought btc in Oktober and sold a few weeks ago, just because of the seasonal cycle of btc.
i think chances are good, that there will be some sort of altcoin season within the next 5 months or so.
And if some on my portfolio pump, i m good.
that s my approach Smiley
