You need to keep active at the forums and your rank status will increase to your activity.

If I am not mistaken you are able to check out what ranks do exist and what activity you might need to achieve them.

Re: Am i able to find a bitcoin adress if i only partially have the numbers of it?
by

If I am not mistaken there is a website that holds information the transactions, confirmations and respective involved addresses but I don't recall the url.

What I would suggest you to do if you have part of the sff address, is to open up Google and do a query if the two parts of the address surrounded by quotes, like the exanple:
"XXXXX" "YYYYY"

XXXXX would be the first part of the address you know and YYYYY the second one.

This guarantees that Google looks only for pages that contain exactly those parts of information, and that could result in the address you are looking for.

While your message is very inspiring, my advice would to invest wiser, not much.

What the future will bring us nobody can tell. As BTC seems promising in the near future, it all seemed great in the past year too. When it just drop people were scaried and nobody could predict what was going to happen.

The same applies today, so I would invest in BTC, ETH and some Altcoins as well.

Always have a plan B just in case.

Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time?
by

Always panic bitcoin is never stable and could crash at any moment.

As like all the other coins.

Don't ever forget every coin are moved by speculation, and even so-called corrections could get the price down a few hundreds from nowhere.

But oh well, it will rise again for sure. Fortunately crypto market isn't just like all the other markets, and unless something goes VERY wrong, the coin should increase all over again.

The last time OP was active was at 12-02-2017, 18:17:16.

From what he has specified, I guess it hasn't appeared anymore since he bought his new house! Ahah

Who would say this would become true in 2017! Congrats OP if you ever do see this in future and haven't sold your BTC before this rise!

Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Will Regain The Mantle To Be Bitcoin
by
SirPereira

Bitcoin Cash getting stronger and as people become aware it is the "real" bitcoin it will rocket.

2x will NOT happen, it will be blocked and due to Bitcoin Cash and it's success, therefore BTC will be fighting for its life soon.

What makes you think that BCC will be considered as the "real" bitcoin? People who get into BTC world are mainly getting it by hearing in the news "the price of BTC", or because some friend told them about that same price.

What would make people want to enter BCC and not BTC as the real cash is into BTC?

Re: next bitcoin fork in Nov?
by
SirPereira
on 17/08/2017, 22:07:53 UTC
I would kinda like that another fork to come up.

In overall it would not have such a drastic effect on price as the last one, but perhaps enough to get on a small dip and be able to profit further.

We gotta be realistic. BCC has just come up and still hasn't showed anything worth it (and will not in my opinion). Today it got an increase of 30% out of nowhere. It is not showing any constant growth rates to be honest, and that does not inspire me any trust at all.

But sure, if they want to go ahead with another fork, go for it. I'll be waiting  Cool

Re: What is the best trading site now?
by

The past year I have used C-CEX and more late in the year Poloniex until... last week.

From what I have been reading, it is just not "the trend" anymore. People started complaining about Poloniex support tickets being left over for more than 3 months and is totally unacceptable.

Nowadays I have been using Bittrex as it looks like it is the most used option so far.

Re: BMYBIT - Personal Automated Trading System
by

Could you perhaps give a more detailed explanation of what the platform actually does?

You say it is an "automated trading platform". But, something in terms of "GUNBOT"? Or isn't it even not related at all?

I have checked out the website but to be honest I was not much more clarified than I was before (I would work a little on the presentation of the website so it could be easier to understand what the product is about, and perhaps "modernize" and "clean" a little the design).

Will be happy to provide more feedback once I totally understand the concept!

All the best!

Re: VPN for crypto

This website seems to describe in detail the advantages and disadvantages of the most popular options in regards of VPNs: https://vpnreport.org/

Seems like the most popular one is Tunnelbear. To be honest, from that list I have already used two: PIA (Private Internet Access) and PureVPN and have nothing against. Stopped using PIA some time ago because there I didn't really trusted their support responses regarding how the logs were being kept or saved.

I have been using PureVPN so far and nothing to complain about.  Wink

I guess mine options are not in the list.

I would buy Electronics and Travels!

For electronics I mean a new computer. A small one, to be able to take it anywhere and code wherever I want. Ah, and because mine my Macbook is getting older too.

For Travels, c'mon. Who doesn't like to travel? Cool I have started traveling so recently and I am kinda in love with it. Paying it with bitcoins would just be so... wow! I can't wait for the first travel I would do paying with money from it!

Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site?
by
SirPereira
on 17/08/2017, 21:19:09 UTC
In my opinion I guess a gambling site would be always more profitable.

If someone starts being addicted to it, the amount of money they can throw in to just try to win all the lost money back is absurd. People sometimes just don't know how to stop and that will probably enrich someone, but not the user himself.

I am programmer myself and if I had time and the market was not totally saturated, that would be probably something I would go with. However trying to offer something totally different from what currently exists.

Re: SPORTS BOOK RANKINGS ~ COMPLETELY USER GENERATED
by

I would like to place my votes on Nitrogen Sports and Cloudbet as those were the only ones I have tried so far.

Nitrogen Sports: 4
Cloudbet: 2.5

As Nitrogen gives you SO MUCH GREATER odds, it loses a lot to Cloudbet by just allowing live bet on very specific events (at least that was the way it was in the start of the year).

Cloudbet loses a lot by the odds and the terrible support, unfortunately. Cloudbet even has more sports, but unfortunately, in the end it is not enough.

I don't believe this to happen at all.

Do you realize that this article came out just today, when BCH value increased about 30%?

As BTC has still a lot to be spread about and people still don't fully understand it, how are we really suppose to explain a fork of BTC, that has not given proof that would be reliable in the future?

I don't support this point at all for now. Perhaps in 5 years they would have something worth it.

As I agree with the chances of getting wealthier, I would really to bold that you should never ever in any circumstances invest what you are not willing to lose. Ever.

Today we are all in green and we hope to see a bright future for sure, but we never know what could happen tomorrow, and from one moment to another everything can change and you may end in a huge red.

If it would be certain, all of us would be rich.

Re: should government involvement be there ?
by
SirPereira
on 17/08/2017, 18:40:38 UTC
To be honest and like I have said in one or two other topics I replied to, paying for goods at a worldwide stage is still very distant from happening.

I can see it start to happen in the next 5-10 years if the constant rate of BTC value is kept. Don't forget that the only reason why you are taking such a question is because of the hype BTC got this year caused by its sudden growth.

Until here nobody believed BTC and they are now seeing that a digital currency may possibly live in such world.

For governments to get a word on this, BTC in my opinion has still much to prove and to grow, until we start to have those worries at all.

I read stories almost every day of people regretting they sold it so soon...

If you really don't have access to those coins anymore (was a bit confused on your post), I feel sorry for you bud.

As people said, it is a still a good time to buy, however I would wait for a dip before doing it  Wink

Re: Bitcoin on Uber
by

on 17/08/2017, 00:43:13 UTC
If tipping in BTC goes well for Uber, I can possibly see they implementing it as a payment method for next year.

This really shows the importance of BTC and how it has been increasing over the years and its contribution to society.

If this will happen more and more people will joining in bitcoins community and the price of bitcoins will be more expensive than ever 10.000$ per bitcoin next year whoa this is so exciting bitcoins is the best of all best.

Totally agreed sir.

If BTC reaches $5k this year I am totally sure it will reach that value next year. Let's hope for the best.

This huge great wave of adoption will just bring great things to not just digital, but daily commerce too - as seen on Uber.

Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned?
by
SirPereira
on 17/08/2017, 00:39:02 UTC
What do you mean by being banned?

Perhaps in one country? Exchange websites not allowed to be accessed in that same country? Sure, that would just increase the use of VPNs.

Banned "globally" because of an "imminent threat" to "global currency value"? Well, people say rate would go up because there would be only "criminals" using it.

I don't disagree with it, but it would only happen after a huge sell wave of BTC as most of people are afraid of doing illegal stuff. Don't forget the biggest investors of BTC are huge companies and they don't want to be associated with such criminal activities - at least using their own name.
