Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0

That much power and influence in the hands of one man, making one tweet which results in the whole crypto market being affected is not the best way forward. That is something that hopefully will change over a period of time making tweets less effective in the drama of pumps and dumps.

I think Dogecoin deserves better than to rely on the tweets of Musk or anyone else to remain relevant.

Waiting for another pump & dump!

His tweets makes DOGE more popular even they causes pump & dump.

Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched!

I will express, perhaps, an unpopular opinion in this topic, but it seems to me ltc project is slowly dying.
No it is not dying. It is much better than Dogecoin and if you see Dogecoin alive why do you see Litecoin is dying. Litecoin has very good network hashrate and it means a lot about its health

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin are a few altcoins from years ago still be alive now and they will be alive next more years.

Quote
How much has the hashrate and the number of transactions of ltc changed in recent years? It seems to me that it has decreased, not increased. Correct me if I am wrong. How much has the price changed? Almost nothing and the price is marking time in one place, which means that the coin is not bought. This is a direct indicator that the project is not of interest to investors. It seems to me that the best days of ltc are over.
You can check it with block explorers
Hashrate: https://blockchair.com/litecoin/charts/hashrate
Transaction count: https://blockchair.com/litecoin/charts/transaction-count
I don't see how it looks like dying.

Ok, but why doesn't the price rise then? Few people believe in the future of the project?  This is also a definite indicator, isn't it. If investors believed in ltc, they would buy it and hold, which would lead to their further growth. But we don't see this.  The price was unable to renew even the previous maximum.

It needs powerful hype to do that. LTC is a calm crypto.

A nice bounce occurred for Dogecoin. Nevertheless, nothing is certain, whether we only go up from here or not.

Today, Douge went up 35% after months of being criticized. In other words, doge pumpers are making money. They will dump it in a few hours. That's how it usually works. Dogecoin reached its peak in May. Since then, the token's value has dropped by almost 80%.

Token? What token?

I liked a lot of things, from the name of the site "BitcoinNews.com", the many classifications, cartoon corner, and other things. The home page looks rich with too many topics.
I will not talk about the content because it will grow with the days.

The disadvantage:

 - The home-page needs to be re-designed as it contains a lot of information.
 - Add a calculator to make between cryptos and assets.
 - Ability to hide textures "SPONSORED or EVENTS or any textures " if I do not need them.
 - remove "FOLLOW US" and social media links at the end of that page.

Thank you for these ideas I will pass them onto the development team, being able to hide some widgets is a really good idea Smiley

Your site is very good looking, and I enjoyed reading articles there.

I even found a misprint in the article "Paris Mural Bitcoin Puzzle Solved":

Boyart set the challenge seven days ago hiding the public keys to the BTC in his mural based on Delacroix’s original “Liberty Leading the People”

I think it was meant to be "the private keys", or rather "the private key". Smiley

I sincerely wish you good luck with your project!

It's interesting to me, what traffic do you get, since there are so many crypto related news sites around?

Wow thanks for spotting that I will pass it on to the editor! Maybe you should be editor!

We do get a fair bit of traffic (please see my answer just above in different post Smiley

Thank you everyone for your feedback I really appreciate it Smiley

The websites itself looks good, I like the UI and seems like you're posting new articles quite regularly.
I do agree with what @LeGaulois says though, can't really call yourself independent if you accept payments for press-releases and op-eds.

Btw, just out of curiosity, how much traffic are you getting? Enough to ask for those kinds of payments for sponsorship deals?

https://bitcoinnews.com/buy/

The domain is 10 years old, we purchased it in 2017 and the website we have is around 10 months old. The domain was getting a fair bit of traffic just by itself when we started.

Currently we receive well over 1 million page views per month, although we sometimes run some ad campaigns as well to bring traffic to our site.

The PRs and Sponsored Stories are how we can pay the writers etc, they are clearly marked as PRs or Sponsored Content, the independence and non-bias refers to our news stories, where we will never put anything in our normal news that has been paid for / has an ulterior motive.

This is really important to us, as we know a lot of other crypto news sites are doing this.

Maybe we do need to change the wording of that slightly though...

We are still improving and have a lot of work to do.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Has no clever person at aeternity had the AMAZING IDEA of  saying there wont be phase 2?

There was a lot of btc and eth raised, why not scrap phase 2.  Youd see a flood of new investment, x50 more than you will see with p2.

And youd gain a hell of a lot of trust and respect.

The idea is so simple. Its genious.

I've thought the same thing. It would be so awesome if they just cut phase 2 of funding and put more resources into the development, so they can start using the resources they have raised more quickly.

if they cut phase 2 I would actually invest more now. As it stands I'm not willing to risk more on a project that does bring a lot to the table, but also looks like a cash grab rather than a focus on development, which is what we all want to really see.

edit: I saw phase one is over. Well if they can show solid development, good roadmap and use of funds, ans lower the cap on phase 2 to 1000 bitcoin instead of 20 000 then I would be happy and willing to invest some more. Showing solid development and a good roadmap over the next  45 days is critical.
