I have a funny issue, trying to get my head around for days. Running the Xdag miner on Win10 Pro with 1070's and that does it quite well. Strange thing is whenever I connect a Teamviewer session the hashrate jumps like 15% up. As long as I keep the session open it stays high, when I close it the hashrate drops back again.

Motherboard is Asrock H81 Pro BTC 2.0. Internal GPU on or off doesn't make a difference. Windows is on High Performance and all the GPU clocks and settings (Afterburner) remain unchanged whether I connect Teamviewer or not.

I see a lot of reports Teamviewer affects the hashrate (a little) in a negative way but this is the other way around. When running the Claymore ETH miner the hashrate stays about normal or slightly lower with Teamviewer open.

That makes me think the Xdag miner hashrate could be quite higher with the settings Teamviewer applies when it starts a session. Just don't know what settings it could be.

Anybody seen the same and has an idea which setting in Windows or Nvidia should be changed to keep the hashrate maximised, Teamviewer or not?

I used to have that same thing going but now with latest release 0.2.3 gpu miner and the parameter nvidia-fix it is about the same hashrate.

I am using that version and the nvidia fix parameter.

now that is a strange one.
I've experienced the opposite where starting a TV session slowed everything down... moving the rig monitor to on-board gfx may help, instead of using one of your cards hdmi outputs.

Thanks for thinking along mate. I am already using the onboard GPU for monitoring. Well, only to make config changes that is. For the rest it's never connected.

FYI, User Evgeniy replied to this on Discord: Yes, it is known issue. But GPU-miner dev is too busy with xdag project....

As I understand a stale share is a share which was sent to the pool by another miner before yours sent it. So your miner sent a share which already was accepted by the pool. When you know this you understand why only the pool knows which share is stale is and which isn't.

When two miners send same share it's called a duplicate share.
Stale share is a share that is sent too late, when pool is already working on new block.

Don't you want to add a new option into your miner: to set epools.txt (dpools.txt) files as options in command line or in config.txt file. That will let user to launch just different bat-files when switching to another coin without making each time changes in epools(dpools)-files for new alternative pools.

Ok, I will add it in next update.

I love learning every day, thanks for clarification!

Hey guys,

I still have a number of stale shares on ethermine.org whilst using v11.5. To give you an idea, I regularly get over 10% stale shares. I mine with 2 x GTX 1050ti, 1 x rx470 and 1 x rx480.

So onto the question, Claymore, is it possible to log what gpu is submitting the stale share?

No, because pool doesn't notify miner that the share is stale, you can only see it on pool dashboard

Really?! So how does this option works, if miner does not know about stale shares:

Quote
-estale   send Ethereum stale shares to pool, it can increase effective hashrate a bit. Default value is "1", set "-estale 0" if you don't want to send stale shares.

As I understand a stale share is a share which was sent to the pool by another miner before yours sent it. So your miner sent a share which already was accepted by the pool. When you know this you understand why only the pool knows which share is stale is and which isn't.

11.4/11.5 is a highly welcome update, better hashrate stability and much less stales.

Thanks a lot Claymore, keep it going!

I like to believe in a future for Xdag, am mining a bit also. But looking at the Discord channel, on Reddit and here, apart from miners not too much is happening. Would like to hear some progress on the 'smart contracts' plan and/or other purposes. Any contact with exchanges yet?

The dev's were pretty present here the first days. Very quiet now suddenly. Anybody heard something from them lately? Or is this dying here just like LCC itself?

Hey all. How do I claim my LCC if I previously had LTC in an Electrum-LTC wallet?

I've tried exporting the private keys and importing them into the LitecoinCash-QT client but this just gives the error "not a litecoin or litecoincash private key". Which I guess makes sense but how do I claim the LCC then? Thanks!

So even if you claimed your LCC and received them in your external wallet, you cannot trade them on Yobit because you cannot transfer them to YoBit...

Yeah, that happened to me before with Ignis. So we're all looking at a virtual amount of LCC in our wallets which we can't move anywhere. By the time we can probably the price gone down to 0.00001...

On page one in this subject they say:

Exchanges

YoBit (auto credit for LTC at fork time available)
TradeSatoshi (auto credit for LTC at fork time available)
Mercatox (auto credit for LTC at fork time available)
CryptoBridge (NO auto credit available, only post-fork market)
MeanXtrade (auto credit for LTC at fork time available)

Am investigating which exchange to choose but can someone confirm Yobit currently is the only one actually trading LCC? Can't find LCC on the others and as Yobit is Russian I don't feel like opening an account there.

Ignis was born from an Ardor/NXT fork over a month ago. Got them in my wallet but still can't sell them if I wanted to, Hitbtc says for the same length of time: Please note that deposits are temporarily unavailable due to technical maintenance. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Shortly after the fork the price of 1 Ignis went up to USD18. By now it's only USD0,28. Never mind, I can't even touch it.

Just to give you guys some heads up with your LCC.

Will dump this immediately and never look back, thanks for the free money that's about to come in  Cool

So how exactly are you gonna 'dump' your coins when there's no supporting exchange?  Grin

That's what I'd like to know as well.
LCC dev said they're talking to exchanges but cant mention any names

Not even their own names, why?

The more exchanges the better. More competition will lead to better service and prices. Especially SERVICE is very much needed these days, I can speak from my experience with thousands of dollars gone missing for several days now because of an error in Poloniex systems. No support, nothing at all.

A good review/compare site for crypto exchanges would be useful also.

Got my coins back after some 4 days of silence. Very happy but Poloniex has work to do getting their systems working properly and a support department responding within a reasonable amount of time.

well I got a reply finally

How long have you been waiting? And was it solved?

I'm missing 20LTC for several days now. Nightmare...

What a relief, after some days of nail-biting I finally received my missing coins and a reply on my support ticket saying sorry for the delay.

Don't know whether it helped but I started a social media campaign yesterday. I seemed to be right thinking there was no support during 31st of dec and the 1st of jan. After the first working day in the New Year it has been solved.

Hopefully Poloniex will get their act together getting their systems working properly day and night, holiday or not, because you can't leave your customers in silence for several days when they're missing thousands of Dollars.
