All miners need to shut down only need enough power to process transactions . Untill the difficulty adjust down correctly for the price of bitcoin there will be huge problems. We need like -30% adjustments or -15 or -17 % ! A drop of -.02 or even 1 % will not get us there lol ....

You waited to long to sale your cubes !! Im allready about to start to sell my antminer S1"s in 2-3 more weeks. Then upgrade to 1 watt/1 Ghs miners. I try to watch eBay prices and make sure you sell befor your miner has lost more then half its value ...

You all crazy unless you under clock them for better effeciancy these miners might last years but you won't be making no money on them in less then 6 months !! The difficulty will be way to high so running them would be a waste of power !!!

Up it to 7000$ and get 2 dragon miners. You can have them at your door by April 1st . Or you could order a Antminer S2 but I think there pretty much sold out ...

So its pretty much Dragon Miner vs Antminer s2 !! The one thing I wonder is if Bitmain will be able to keep up with china on manufacturing these things. You can get a 1  t/hs dragon miner right now and have it at your door like the sold out batch one S2 orders by April 1st for 3600$ !! I just hope Bitmain gets some stock going and stops doing Pre order batch orders. 1 or 2 batches is cool but once you go past that people are paying for a Pre order and getting it months later.. Anything longer then 2 weeks of  time after you pay is too long .. People need to start getting the clue there is no reason to do Pre-orders for any type of mining hardware !! Those days are over there is way to much competetion for that crap !! And that goes for kncminer and any other manufacture!!

So according to your chart this next bubble would put us over 10 k by the end of the year !! That's seems hard to accept as even close to possible !! But who would of thought bitcoin would go from the 100"s last October to 1200$ in December . So that same increase this year would put us close to 10k by end of December this year !! Great logistic model makes one think twice about spending there bitcoin Smiley Im thinking you might of been more close putting the top of your model in the 500k range but its hard to tell with bitcoin and how much adoption we are seeing in the market ....

LoL I was actually thinking the same thing. Crazy idea but what if all the major pools got together and shut down befor a difficulty adjustment was about to happen. Then after difficulty goes down put it all back online.. I was watching the litecoin difficulty for months and I actually started to notice huge declines in hashing power right befor difficulty increases !! Like major farms are doing just that ......

This is exactly why I installed a 50 amp breaker in my panel and im running the wires tonight after work. This is pretty much the only way to continue to mine bitcoin at today's levels. 15 amp breakers on your normal outlets is a huge fire risk on anything over 2000 watts. It's not only the miners that is the problem its overloading the wires in your wall wich can catch the whole house on fire...  Also you can run your power supplies at 240 volts wich is more efficient and will produce less heat ...

I'm interested in your power config here.  Are you running multiple lines off the same 50 amp breaker or several lines off several 50 amp breakers?  How are you setting that up?

Im running 8/3 gauge wire to a 8 outlet 240 volt plug in box that my power supplies will connect into. Im also thinking about picking up a 40 amp fused disconnect box like what you would use for a hot tub power setup, that will be installed befor the outlet box. I work as a industrial electrician so my set up might be a little over kill but it will allow me to run at least 5000 watts of mining power...  After all the miners are running on the 240 volt supply all you have to do is put a amp meter on the line and find out what you current draw is to figure out the size of fuses to install in the disconnect . The calculation is pretty simple ..

Total line Amps x 1.50 = size of fuses to install to protect wire feed incase of overload or power supply failure.
You can also do the calculation at 1.25 if you want to be even more on the safe side Smiley

Oh ok, cool.  So you're running a single line of 8/3 gauge wire to an 8-outlet 240v plug.  From there, are you plugging your power supplies directly into the 8-outlet plug or do you use power strips or a UPS in between?  Can you even use power strips or UPS's on a 240v line?  Shows what I know about wiring..lol

To tell you the truth im not doing it exactly to code lol !! Im actually just using industrial grade 120 volt outlets that the power supplies can directly plug into with out having to chop the cords and put a huge 240 volt plug on it !! Each power supply dont pull that much current, not nothing like a dryer would so you can get away with it. So basically the 120 volt outlets will just be supplied with 240 volts instead of 120. Just make sure you make it clear that its 240 volt plugs dont plug in a 120 volt fan or anything on accident lol ...  I also highly recommend the fuse box or atleast some inline fuses that will give you added protection. Remember that 50 or 60 amp breaker you install won't trip untill it goes over the Amp rating.. That could be enough current draw to hurt your power supplies or miners in the case of a short, overload or failure of anyway...

The key to being successful or at least make back what you invested is to only mine for about 45-90 days max then sale on eBay.. Then take all the bitcoin you mined plus the money from sales on eBay and upgrade to the next best miner.. This is the only way to keep up with the difficulty rise and stay in the game.. We are getting close to a point where its going to slow down some with the advancement in hashing power making it more modular so you can keep building on what you got allready going. After 20mm miners are more wide spread I see it pretty hard to get much more hashing power for what technology we have available. Under .5 watts per Gh/s will be hard to beat I think...

Re: ntek 1.2th/s miner?
by

To bad you can't add extra board or get your ntek miners to run at 1.5-2.0 Th/s at least for the people that paid 8500$ pre order and are still waiting . I've allready been running 1.3 Th/s with antminers for 2 weeks and paid for my bitcoin when it was at 500$ .. It's all about the hashing power when you get it. The 1.2 th/s isn't going to do much good if you get it 3 weeks from now and need to make back 8500$ worth of bitcoin ... I would of Pre-ordered a ntek miner befor i got the antminers but you had allready missed your 14 day build time on a bunch of orders !! Why dont you take that bull shit down on your website!! You advertise a 14 day build time just to sucker people and thats fucked up !! Your pretty much a scam if you can't keep your word!! Misleading buyers is fucked up and I feel sorry for anyone that didnt get there money back befor the 30 days ran out ........

First off, I usually do not respond to messages with foul language like yours. There really is no reason to speak like that. However, I want to make a few things clear; we are not taking down the shipping timeframe of 14-days because as of right now that is accurate. I will admit that we were originally over optimistic with our plans in January. We had some issues with the development of the PCB design as many others did with the A1 chips. Most of those issues were actually not our fault and related to third parties, but we are still responsible. For this reason we have given a refund to any customers that have asked. It is getting very old to hear people keep accusing of us being a scam when we have been working around the clock to design and produce one of the most advanced miners in existence in 2-1/2 months from start to finish. If we were a scam then we would have taken Bitcoin only as payment, like every other mining hardware company out there and then not give refunds. We are not holding any information back from customers and have been giving regular updates and like I said we have given several refunds to customers that were not comfortable with waiting.

For the customers that have waited, we are working on an option to help them get their ROI back. An announcement will be made over the next week with further details. We are really doing everything we can to deliver an amazing product and to not just be like other bitcoin mining companies. These miners are very complex though and we did hit delays but we are now past those and have moved into full production mode. Going forward now that we have a working Hashing Unit PCB design we do not expect any more delays. We have setup a pipeline with local vendors for manufacturing everything except the PCB's. For the Printed Circuit Boards we have moved production over to a PCB builder in China with a very good history of producing high quality mining boards based on Avalon and Bitfury. This has reduced the cost of the PCB production by 1/3 or more and will allow us to lower prices for upgrade modules and future sales.

Updated photos, videos and a full review by a "Hero Member" from Bitcointalk will follow soon...

Sorry about that really foul language lol !!! When You scam people for thousands of dollars you might get some foul language heading your way at the vary least !!! Not only that if you had my 25 grand and ignored my request for refunds I would be hunting you down and spend any amount of resources needed to find you!! Your word is worth nothing and you are full of lies and excuses!! Here is a direct quote from your website at Ntek !!!
"""" SHIPPING: READ FIRST BEFORE BUYING: There is a 14 day processing/build time on for this item. As soon as the system is ready it will be shipped to you either via DHL or FedEx Express shipping 3-4 day service. If the system is ready sooner then we will get it to you as soon as possible. BE SURE to understand this process and be okay with waiting currently 14 days+shipping time to get this miner."""""
So 4 months later and you still have the same lies on your website!! Take that shit down now !! You have allready failed everyone that has tryed to support you!! There is no way your going to be able to be succesfull with your kind of ethics and business practice!! 1 Th/s miner is not worth 8500$ I dont care what kind of chips you have in it !! Maybe worth 5000$ at max and only if you could really ship today!!

Over clock at 1.5 Th/s should be able to do that ?? Damn tax return check better hurry up lol.. Thinking easy 2000watts at over clock ?? You would need to add another 1200 watt power supply ..
