Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019

Crypto adoption is have been slow in recent years and many shops are still not aware that there some kind of virtual currency in the online world that can be use in any kind of transactions. This year might be different because the market is bullish due to continues climb of bitcoin and some altcoins. During this uptrend of bitcoin, many merchants and investors might get interested in the cryptocurrencies and the bussiness people might try to use bitcoin as a payment in buying their goods.
Exactly, today there are still few shops that are using crypto out there. And these are IT shops for the most part. Speaking about bitcoins, I think it's risky to use them as a payment method.

A strange question about the reviews .. I never check reviews, I mean at all. The marketers write so skillfully that you can tell the difference and tell who is who lol. I just listen to the opinions of friends, relatives, or try at my own risk.

hello everyone! has anyone used the international delivery? what about tracking and delivery time if so?
TBH, I cannot understand why are you so afraid of international delivery. Due to my specific location it's almost always the only option for me. I never had the problems regarding delivery (ofc it's taking a bit longer, but it's reasonable enough).

Can you tell me more details? How to buy for example.

There’s a special inner wallet which can be filled by the fiat credit card (with the actual exchange rates). From this wallet you can pay the goods, there’s a smart contract developed for delivery. Also there are also a lot of special options, like you can also sell goods, similar ways as with aliexpress.

Re: Insuring the crypto assets. Is it possible?

Talking about crypto I would say if I had cash at hand I would have bought. But could not cut anything out to stock up at the moment.

same. will stock on some coins to get lambo to get moon. Cheesy)
I never heard of any insurance schemes for crypto. The rest are government tax-based modes. Why would you even want to insure your crypto assets without knowing whom you are sending funds to? Its better to keep them secure yourself. Also for price surges you just have to deal with it. Try not to use those "hedge funds" because most are scam.
guess it not possible to ensure the crypto itself but some part of the funds or service one's used at least could somewhat become reality one day.

Do you plan to involve ordinary charitable foundations to integrate your project? Will you try to attract such big philanthropists as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett for example?
Huh, Bill Gates ...
Considering that every year he spends several billion dollars for charity, and the hardcap of project is 26 million dollars, he will buy up all the tokens by silk of his fingers. This is certainly good for a project, but what will remain for ordinary users who want to invest?

Last time I checked, Gates was a huge crypto bear, so getting him involved with any crypto project would be a miracle.

I'm not saying it has to be him. It would be nice if some giants of charity encourages initiatives and projects like this, that's what I'm trying to say.

"around 7 new charitable foundations are created every single day"
Damn, thats a lot. Just another reason this project is helpful since the platform will help a regular Joe to get his bearings in that field.

Yeah, a lot of those are motivated by making a quick buck on someone's good intentions. Here's hoping, the platform will actually help to filter them out.

And not even necessarily outright stealing the money. Some unsavory funds just withhold full information about their activities. Like the fact that they keep a huge percentage of each donation sum.

Blockchain charity? Come on, guys...

Aint nothing wrong about it. In fact, its a great idea. Transparency won't allow anyone to siphon money from charities.

Indeed it's much easier to invest in something that you're already watching anc can try that just in a promise of something great.

Our Alpha version of the platform is coming very soon. We will use it to sellfund ourselfs and a few selected charities.
Hello
Just one question: Why your project is better than your competitors?
It seems to me that the Humancoin project is much more promising, for example.

As I understand, I can pay tokens for services and goods of partner companies. Do you know which companies will participate it? Just some examples?

They seem to want to keep is secret for now. Which is perfectly logical. Cooperation with established companies is a big deal and one should not announce details of such partnerships until the project can stand on its ow two feet.

I still say, its too early to talk about any partnerships at this stage. The project needs to prove the viability of the platform first, then start looking for someone to team up with.

Dude... Thats exactly what I said.

Not exactly. You're saying they're keeping their partners in secret, just so they wouldn't jinx it. I say they don't have any partners yet, cause it's too early to have any.

Dude, whatever. The point is that we, the donators, wont know any details until way down the line, in 2019, so we need to judge the projects on its own merit at the moment.

Most crypto enthusiasts have heard about PoW (Proof-of-work) and PoS (Proof-of-stake) — algorithms for reaching a consensus as to which transactions should be added to blockchain. But what is Proof-of-charity?

This is a system that Humancoin operates on. The platform’s smart contract grants tokens in proportion to the donations made by donors (50% of the value of the donation). It is as simple as that—more donations mean more tokens! The Proof-of-charity concept places no restrictions on the number of participants that can get involved: new projects, donors and e-commerce market players will be able to become part of the Humancoin community in the future.

Not sure, I get, why the second was named so similar to the first since two seem to be completely separate things. Still, seems to be a good incentive for people to start giving a damn about less fortunate then they are. Props on that.

Does it really matter, what its called, if you understand the purpose? A rose by any other name and all that.

Soft cap - $6 mln, it's not so much. I hope you'll be raised this funds in a couple of days. What will be with unsold tokens?
They'll be burned. By the way, team's tokens will be frozen (50%  for 6 months and another 50% for 12 months).
And what about bounty tokens? will they be frozen? and will there be a bounty campaign?
Also, WP says that only team's tokens will be frozen
That's not great... participants of bounty program will drop the price of token on the exchanges as soon as they get their tokens

oh wait, bounty tokens will be locked for a period of 1 month to prevent devaluation upon exchange listing, as it says in the bounty thread. so, there's no ground for worrying then

Don't forget, please, that this is primarily a project for donations and philanthropists Wink
