how do i divide (reduce) this period in half or three quarters?

I would like to try to solve the puzzle but i have to reduce it. I would also avoid starting from the first number, I believe many have already tried it from the beginning.

Any time I put -r it gives: [Error] Invalid address '-r'

try like this

Have you tried to follow the instructions located on their website: https://myaltcoins.info/nyzo-review/
Everything is described in detail for the operating system Ubuntu 16.04
