Need a replacement for NUT now, I've pretty much stopped mining lately and my 750ti is feeling underused. Anyone got any suggestions for a good GPU coin? I'm out of date with the crypto world, things move so fast. Was using trademybit but the profits from multipools are really down and I'd prefer to support one or two coins rather than jumping around and potentially hurting the market.

The fact remains though that nutcoin.com is still down, the other domains are parked, and there's been absolutely no word from the dev or anyone associated with him for months.

nut.imine.at is still listed on nutcoin.com despite it being down for months, the main website needs updating with new pools.
Yeah it's great to see this coin doing well, i've been mining x11/13 for a while to make back cost of my 750ti but gunna be pointing it back at NUT fairly regularly

I'm using v0.8.6.2, afaik there's been no updated wallet released?
and it's not syncing properly, was working fine a couple of hours ago
Also I previously contacted qoinpro re getting NUT on there and got a response saying the guy'd voted +1 for NUT in there internal voting system.

I've tried closing and opening it again and it's just stuck syncing, I've got backups so should i just download it again from nutcoin.com and import the wallet.dat file?
if you delete everything other then the wallet.dat in your User/name/appdata/raming/Nutcoin file and just run the wallet you already have installed again, it will re sync the block chain .. See if this fixes the issue
I have same problem before because of my comp suddenly shutdown when the wallet updating the blockchain.
I just backup the wallet.dat and delete all blockchain dan start download again from zero.
Its work dan never have problem since then.
I learn to backup my blockchain separately and regulary so i wont redownload from begining, just copy and replace the damage one if something goes wrong.
Thanks this seems to have fixed the issue, there's no warning message anymore and it's catching up fine, thanks guys, help very much appreciated!

I'm working on syncing a new wallet right now, I'll let you know how it goes, I'm a ways out yet though.
Thanks man, any help much appreciated (epesh since i crossed the 4M NUT mark a couple of days ago lol). Appears to be stuck syncing on block 288191. It's just getting further and further out of sync, 11 hours now, was 9 (even though it was fully synced earlier today
) and transactions are still appearing from my mining but they're not getting confirmed since it's stuck on that block here's my getinfo if it helps:

Really glad i found this coin and this community early.Introduced a couple more people to nutcoin in the past few days including a big miner (2MH/s+), and someone completely new to the crypto-world so I'm still trying to help NUT grow and get known
I want to warn you guys about success in the crypto world, with success can come a ton of problems, for anybody who is not familiar with the stuff that goes on with the success of an altcoin, I highly recommend following this link and reading back for about the last week and just prepare yourselves for it if it occurs here. Money can make smart people insane, the weak strong, and the strong weak. The core group that we have here seems to be some pretty level headed guys and the occasional woman, but we have on occasion had some people who tried to demand certain things a month or so back, but that is very mild compared to what real success will bring, just beware of what can and probably will happen if Nutcoin becomes a success.

There is a difference here. The developer and the coins primary supporter isnt looking for community support to make anything happen, so all the BS on BC from posters has no leverage. NutCoin has a plan that seems to be adhered to and will implement that plan on there time frame. We were just given the opt to get in early....
Based on who this project was created for.. I am willing to sit back, wait and watch... Iam pretty sure not many of us make $80M+ Annually
I agree, that is an important distinction to remember, but that doesn't mean that people who have a lot of Nutcoins won't think they have some kind of right to determine the direction of the coin and if nothing else, causing unneeded distraction and problems.
In that regard, I am no longer the largest miner on the bitember exchange, I'm only about 38 blocks behind, but that's cool, it was never about being the top dog and I don't have an overwhelming desire to control Nutcoin, but if there's ever a way I can help Nutcoin succeed, that I do want to do.

I understand that it's a double edged sword, but if we want this coin to get were we all want it to be, it has to catch on and go higher. That was also why I was trying to prod everybody into mining those easy nuts while we had them, because I knew that if we caught on or when we reach the block halving the easy coins would be gone. I just hope all my long term mining buddies did get a substantial amount of Nutcoins while the getting was good. It's not time to take it to the moon just yet, but the stratosphere would be nice.
Managed to get 2 million in the easy days mostly with CPUs haha, luckily now i've got a 750ti on the job it should even out, managed 3M now
