"But there's actually a lot of technology that relies on quantum uncertainty now, and the main one is quantum cryptography - using quantum systems to convey our information securely - and that mostly boils down to the uncertainty principle."
Right now a few of the old timers here and I are working on making a site that will act as an official feedback system. Will have more info in a day or so as we work out how this is going to be implemented.
Sounds like a great idea!
Is there a main thread about this implementation? If not, create one so others & I can subscribe to it as for updates on your guy's plan.
I too am extremely interested as a user and am willing to help any way I can.

Wow, hope it works (and boots) on that 1gb drive! I was under the impression that you needed min 2gb. Looking forward to a success story soon!
Yea Im betting (literally) its the sellers buying smaller amounts back at a higher price to try and generate support. When the rally fails they dump again.
Very good point. as it crawls back up again. lol

That's really cool to see a good transaction work out! 8^)
The best solution is to simply hold on to your Bitcoins yourself. The only problem with that is that you can't access the wallet easily from multiple devices/locations.
With linuxcoin I can access my wallet all over the place.

Real estate, stocks, gold, silver, emeralds, misc gemstones, tools, guns. Pretty much everything has either been stolen or sold at this point. Still looking to dump the rented unit in Miami.

The view from my window shows the dumpers with a very slight edge, but the pumpers are holding in there rather well. Wonder who's gonna run out of gas first?

Re: A Portable and Reasonably Secure BitCoin Wallet System.
Any particular reason why "*new* PNY 4GB do not boot. GRRRR!" ?
Is this with just linuxcoin?
I shopped around mostly the west side of Tallahassee. A local computer repair store gave me a great deal on a handful of older USB sticks all of which kept data but none of which booted. The local Walmart had the lowest proces on 4gb sticks so I bought one of each color to easily tell them apart. The PNY only came in black. All of the sandisk cruzers 4gb boot just fine. The PNY kept data but did not boot.
I have not tested other manufactures or other distributions other than Linuxcoin.
The Sandisk 4gb's booted on all 3 versions of Linuxcoin that I have on file.
Would you be interested in taking GPUs as the investment?
Most definately! Two "hulks" are ready to go, others would have to be arranged without too much trouble.

Well I just got back to the farm. It looks like they are both a bit punch drunk. The dumpers have a slight advantage @9.67, but it looks like it's too early to call.

Re: A Portable and Reasonably Secure BitCoin Wallet System.
same question I made on another thread, related to linuxcoin security was it thoroughly audited in search of backdoors, malware, rootkits ? I love linuxcoin, but ...
Pop a PM over to drgreen on the main linuxcoin thread. I'm sure he'd be glad to share the code with you. Many others seem to trust him and his work.
