I get it - pool advertising is a little over the top.

Why don't you just ban the worst offenders rather than punish ever single other pool owner who just makes ONE post in the ANN thread.

You have pools that spam the ANN threads 10 times with their pool info, in 800x600 image format with 2 full pages of unnecessary fluff - then you have pool owners who pop in to say " XYZ pool added this coin with the connection string below" - and I see that as a benefit to this community not a detriment.

(also just realized this is an older post and the rule is largely being disregarded and unenforced)

Just an update on this -

The dev let half a dozen pools mine this on 3 different chains - all of which were being confirmed AND the coins were sellable on exchanges. Today, they decided to take the shortest chain and everyone who's been mining this coin for the last several days got completely screwed over. I'm out hundreds of US Dollars in compensation and hashpower, and I'm sure the lost TUN is well into the thousands of dollars all combined.
