Is this airdrop in cash? Else how do you know the value is $1800?

From your statement i can sense that you missed out on hydro airdrop
Hydro was a huge success and the 1800$ is the value of hydro in bitcoin

As a newbie, all you have to do is figure out  airdrop forms to fill and hopefully, you meet an oppurtunity like hydro once again
Goodluck newbie, enjoy this crypto space.

A hugr success indeed, you must've joined the airdrop right?

Hydro: The $1800 Airdrop
by

on 27/06/2018, 17:40:38 UTC
There are a lot of ICOs, airdrops that are $5, $10, $15, $50. But there is only one that has an Airdrop of $1800 each participant; Hydro's ICO. I was extremely happy that I managed to join this airdrop before it was gone, would you mind sharing your biggest Airdrop?

Could we ever see AltCoins on Banks?
by
SmileyLadd
on 24/06/2018, 01:59:52 UTC
So 1 month ago, bitcoin's value had horribly fell and the investors were very very disappointed.
We all know that one of/the reason why bitcoin's value went down is due to the theft of more than
$30 million worth of digital tokens from a cryptocurrency exchange.

Now as of June 24, 2018.

Bitcoin's value has slipped once again. Huh

Let's turn the tables.

Is there any chance we can see AltCoins such as Etherem, DogeCoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Zchash?

What are your thoughts?

ETH for the win?
by
SmileyLadd
on 23/06/2018, 13:57:20 UTC
I know that ETH could not win and take over beyond BTC, but BTC is currently falling right now, do you think Ethereum could win incase BTC falls into abyss consecutively all day?

Although,

As of June, 22, 2018.

Ether Price Analysis
There was a sharp bearish reaction during the past two sessions for ETH/USD. Ether’s price failed to move past the $550.00 barrier, resulting in a crucial break below $520.00 and $500.00.

Similarly, ETH/BTC was not able to surpass the 0.0800BTC resistance and started a downward move. The pair is moving lower and it could revisit the 0.0750BTC support.

What are your thoughts about this?

Re: Bitcoin SCAM!
by
SmileyLadd
on 17/06/2018, 06:15:19 UTC
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

Hey buddy, I found your story very useful, this could serve as a pre-caution to those who are having second thoughts about investing in bitcoin, well said story buddy.

Bitcoin vs Ethereum vs Ripple vs EOS Manipulation

New study says last year’s record-breaking Bitcoin price was actually a fraud

For those of you not familiar with Tether, it’s a token meant to help traders buy and sell cryptos for US dollars across exchanges and increase the speed of transfers. Rather than worry about fiat transfers, you can convert your money into Tether, and then do whatever you want with them in the crypto world. Every single Tether should always be valued at $1, and each Tether should be backed up by a real dollar. That sounds great on paper, and it’s supposed to provide security to Tether users.

That’s becauseTether should not be affected by bull or bear runs that routinely affect the crypto market. In fact, Sunday’s bloodbath did not affect the digital currency. So that’s all great news, yes?

Well, in spite of the various infusions of new Tethers into the market, nobody can prove that the real dollars backing them up exist. And currently, we have more than $2.5 billion Tethers out there, which means a bank should hold $2.5 billion in real dollars.

With all that in mind, let’s look at what the new study is saying about Bitcoin manipulation. Researchers from the University of Texas on Wednesday published a paper (via Business Insider) that makes a remarkable claim.

The researchers found that the price patterns of Bitcoin are “”most consistent with the supply-based hypothesis where Tether is used to provide price support and manipulate cryptocurrency prices.” The researchers looked at the relationship between Tether and the price of Bitcoin between March 2016 and March 2018 focusing on last year. The price rose to almost $20,000 in December and then dropped to $6,600 by March. It’s now trading below that, with price hovering at around $6,480 at the time of this writing, and dropping.

“Tether seems to be used both to stabilize and manipulate Bitcoin prices,” they said. New Tether coins were apparently created and used to buy Bitcoin when the coin was in low demand.

This was a news from BGR 4 days ago, what are your thoughts about this? Do you think Bitcoin is rapidly/slowly decreasing due to these crytocurrencies? I hope you find this post useful.

Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500
by
SmileyLadd
on 13/06/2018, 16:11:55 UTC
Bitcoin might be testing new lows by going below $6,500 level, however, analysts like Tony Vays and Ran Neu-Ner believe it will even hit $4,975 and $5,900 respectively before any upward momentum could be expected. Bitcoin Bull, Tim Draper is still bullish and planning to buy even more bitcoins with no plans to sell them any time now.

BTC highly bearish, Tony Vays’ target $4,975 but…

The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Bitcoin has fallen to its lowest since February. Today, Bitcoin dropped down to an extreme low of $6,433. However, it has again gained a slight upward shift and gone above $6,500 level at $6,510.

I searched Google yesterday, and yes, below $6,500 it is. May this serve as a pre-caution to those who already planned or for those who are planning to invest huge money it Bitcoin.

Re: Cryptocurrency ATM installed in Zimbabwe

https://www.iol.co.za/business-report/international/cryptocurrency-atm-installed-in-zimbabwe-14459889
INTERNATIONAL - Cryptocurrency exchange platform Golix has decided to  install a Bitcoin and Litecoin ATM in Harare.

Zimbabwe has a growing interest for cryptocurrencies as well as other countries in the region.

Zimbabwe is a country that was not able to deal with its own currency. The inflation rates reached 79.6 billion percent in 2009, the highest in the world. The 2-way ATM was activated in the first week of April in order to attend the growing demand for these virtual currencies.

Different countries in Africa have decided to deploy crypto-ATMs in their states.

At the moment, only Zimbabwe and Djibouti have functioning crypto cash machines. Zimbabwe had to switch to US dollars due to the fact that its currency suffered from severe inflationary problems. Bitcoin and Litecoin could help Zimbabwe to face the current problems the economy has by providing a trustful means of exchange to the population. The situation is not better years after the inflationary peak.

I think this is one of the good news that I have seen today, but in terms of security, in my opinion, I think their government cannot guarantee the safety of the Cryptocurrency installed in their ATM.

News: Bitcoin Drops to $7,200 While Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash See Losse
by
SmileyLadd
on 11/06/2018, 14:58:26 UTC

Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market dropped more than $22 billion, falling from $343 billion to $321 billion in market valuation. Bitcoin fell by 5 percent, while other major cryptocurrencies recorded larger losses, dropping by more than 7 percent.

What Triggered the Drop?
On previous reports, CCN emphasized that while the cryptocurrency market has somewhat stabilized in terms of price movements, the volumes of most digital currencies remained relatively low. Bitcoin’s volume has not been able to rebound past the $5 billion mark, leading investors to become uncertain about the short-term future of the cryptocurrency market.

The bitcoin price initially seemed to be bottoming out at $7,500, building momentum around the $7,600 region and breaking the $7,700 mark. While prominent investors and experts including Peter Brandt suggested a short-term rally for bitcoin, the volume of bitcoin failed to pick up, disallowing bulls from taking over the market.

This might have been a nightmare for some participants who invested at Bitcoin, Ethereum and other Cryptocurrencies.

What are your thoughts?
