I don't need to say anything.  Bitcoinwisdom will show you all you need to know about this "FUD".

Hope you all got out in time.

A lot of good points are being made here.  But there are some of you that fail to recognize the "China" economic policies that are currently in place.

A good amount of you seem to forget that China is still a communist country.  Why we have open trade with them and not other communist countries is still a mystery to me but that's besides the point.

Let's step back from the screens for a moment and look at the overall picture of China's economics.

1) Only allow export of manufactured goods.

2) Hoarde world's raw materials including precious metals.

3) Sell back low quality good to people with lots of fiat.

4) Do not permit citizens to move country's currency into other forms to avoid dilution of the state.

5) Prohibit transactions which devalue the currency of the state.

You can call it FUD or whatever you want.  The truth is, China has a history of not wanting to let their money leave their country and will go to great measures to protect the state even if it means banning something without any further explanation.

Just google China ghost towns to see what the Chinese have been doing with the funds that are not allowed to leave the country.

China is roughly 60% of the bitcoin market.  If that goes away expect the price to fall dramatically to correct levels out of bubble territory.

Trade accordingly and quit crying because you missed the triple tops.

@Stephan

After this latest update, all the API information is gone again. All the bots are gone again.  It's like starting all over every time you update this software. Why is it so difficult?

I don't understand your development style.  The normal method of development is to release a candidate and call it alpha.  People test it, find bugs, you fix and release as a ("testing") release.  When you've patched as much as possible you call it beta and the testing still continues until you get to a point where a feature freeze is implemented.  But the way you are releasing software like crazy keeps us all chasing down problems.

If we could get to a point where we say ok this is it 9.8.2.0 is running good and stable then that is fine.  I will use it knowing it has some quirks here and there.  That's understandable. So when you release 9.8.3.x I am expecting a solid upgrade path that fixes the previous issues WITHOUT adding NEW features.  Then when 9.9.x.x comes out I am thinking well ok this is going to be a big upgrade path and I may have to start over. But that's not what happens.  After this update I went back in to try and fix some things but it is a mess in that directory.

Now we got all kinds of problems with , and . and trades not running like they were before.

Yes I understand it takes time to learn new software.  I've spent many days learning something and how it works only to find it completely broken or "modified" in a new release which makes all the time I spent before that a waste.

How would you feel if someone was wasting your valuable time with updates that were always broke, nonstandard or just plain didn't work?  And then understand that you paid almost $1000 for that? And then lost more than that on software that wasn't stable? And then had to spend even more time to relearn how things work with new versions?

I can't speak for everyone and I won't try to but I think any sane and rational person would be pissed off by this.

Things this software should have:

Well it's a gimme since it needs a lot.

But according to Haas everything works because he confirmed it with "beta testers"

Let me know when I can upgrade.  I get tired of trying to input all these API keys and bot settings only to find out this software is more fucked up than ever.

The standard method here seems to be "If it's working, fix it"

Anyone else notice all the new people coming out of the woodwork saying this is broken?

This software is the biggest joke ever and it's not even funny.

this coin won't go anywhere if the devs aren't keeping the peer list up to date

@Nolli

Don't waste your money on this bot.  It hasn't worked since I purchased it. It hasn't worked since others upgraded to it.

The developer claims it is the best thing and all these "quiet people" are happily using his broken software.

I think they all gave up and moved on to other things after being scammed by this guy.

I am hopeful that we may one day get the software we were promised and not some alpha test nonsense that just loses money.

{{Cryptsy Broken After Update}} Haasbot Trade Server 0.9.8.0
{{API Keys cleared after update}}

EDIT:  Prices started working at 1:56 CDT.  Cryptsy apparently doesn't like to be polled every minute.  It does however get prices every 5 minutes it seems.

EDIT EDIT: The above isn't true. Cryptsy gives prices when it feels like it.  There is no set interval as to when it works or doesn't.  But it does seem to be updating every few minutes.

Are you going to extend our license time when you have something that actually works?

I don't think it's fair that we have paid for broken software and lost time on our license agreement with you.

where is a benchmark/backtest tool on 0.9.7.0 Huh
I only loose money so far  Sad
but may be due to not known prameters in config
MACD 23 / 43 and 4 min and ROC with Cryptsy LTC/Btc  is not so  good

The benchmark tool is on the main bot configuration page where it says "Backtest Tradebot"

The back test seems to show reliable but I've not enabled the trading.  I'm just watching it right now since this software has already cost me several hundreds of dollars in last update.

Maybe I am wrong, so can someone explain me what is happening here? Why there is so huge difference between STB and bitcoinwisdom, when all indicators are set EXACTLY same way?? It seems to be OK for first look, but look at it cloer and You´ll find out that its money loosing machine..

Yeah welcome to my hell.  This software will trade you 180 degrees out of your position.

I'm not quite sure wtf these developers are thinking with this garbage.  This has been my main complaint the whole time.

To be fair, since I am only just now getting the update for whatever reason, I will have a look at it again.

Personally I kinda feel fucked over here on this software.  That may or may not change depending on this update.

THE EDIT INDICATOR PAGE SHOULD SHOW WHICH TRADE BOT YOU ARE EDITING!  BREADCRUMBS? TITLETAG?

I think most of here are just waiting for something that works instead of additional features that don't.

Papasmurf,

The only way to get out of that is to be actively watching the market, power off the server and close your positions manually.

It's a pain.  A nice feature would be to close all positions at market price before halting the trade engine.  This would at least allow us to liquidate our position without taking a bath.

So as it turns out, I'm not the only one that can't really use the software.  .85BTC was a lot of money a few weeks ago.  I hope they get it fixed soon.  I really would like to use it still once it's functional.

It seems like everything stopped working and running backwards after the last update.

Papasmurf,

Yes I understand what you are saying.

To be fair I will try settings as you have suggested to see how that works for me.

I really want this to work.  But so far it keeps failing for me.

I setup another bot with your settings on a 0.01 BTC account.

Thank you
