I find people are too hard with the coin. I would recommend to judge it by the actual quality of the WP, the interviews given by the lead dev (who is public and full time now), the very stringent development (visit github) and the tech in general. Just read it before you bash it. Always remember that Monero (XMR) is a fork too.

1. It is on their website that Yobit does not work correctly (https://www.scash.ml/) , SCS is also not the only coin affected, many are
2. Devs transfer you all your coin manually if you mail / telegram them to "admin@scash.ml". I had 21 from a testbuy there and they helped me transfer them to my wallet
3. price on yobit is like 0,10 cent higher atm then other exchanges, so not true, just a normal slight difference

I recommend SpeedCash (SCS). Low marketcap, fast and low supply of only 450000 coins.

ICO is like venture capital without proper due diligence in a somewhat unknown and hyped market. What do you expect? I did not participate in one ICO and still have nice gains. My biggest fear in a ICO is that not even the full team but one member of a team runs off with the cash. I am not aware of a case of this but it could happen with solid projects, even with already working MVP too. They do not have good security measures on average (internally). I know how startups work. Fragile and a bit messy. I somewhat believe a startup is not ready for 20 million or such in funding if it is not a spin-off of a bigger company.

op is really in denial that some alts are really crushing it. In fact, the alts are more useful than BTC already. But useful does not equal a high price as btc was the first and is considered a trading object / for some store of value.

true, choosing the right coin is maybe 50% and sometimes willingness to back out is required. Fomo and bias are bad advisors.

I expect governments to come out with an own cc. But it will take some years and they must make it much more user-friendly. My mom & pop could never use it the way it is bought + sold yet. I must add I come from a modern country in Europe with one of the fastest internet speeds + average iq worldwide. If they cannot mass adopt it, no one else can.
