as far as i can remember people have been asking the same question and have been concerned about a drop.
a good thing about going away for a while and coming back is that you always see the rise since bitcoin price in long term is always rising Cheesy
so just change your strategy to a long term one...

Re: Who the f*ck is buying Bitconnect?
by

It's still listed on all these exchanges. Can't believe they haven't deleted it. I guess they left it to allow people to dump and get whatever they want out of it before it goes to 0.

what is there not to believe, exchanges don't  care about these things. all they see is the volume which is in turn giving them profit as people trade there!

and as long as pumpers are out there pumping shitcoins, coins like bitconnect will stay alive!
sometimes i feel like people don't care either! they also love the pumps and don't care even if the coin is pure scam.

Bringing Identity To Crypto

We partnered with Jumio to offer secure identity verification, which can be linked to a Byteball address and used on demand
To be relevant in the real world, we need more anchors to the real world. One of them is identity.

Starting today, every Byteball user can link his Byteball address to his real world identity. The user’s personal data is verified by Jumio, the leading provider of identity verification services, and stored in the user’s Byteball wallet. At the same time, a hash of the personal data is stored on the public DAG and signed by a trusted attestor. The attestor also serves as a witness, so it is already trusted.

This attestation allows the user to prove to anybody that his Byteball address is linked to a verified person, without disclosing any personal information. It also allows to reveal the private information to individual service providers on demand, and the service provider can easily verify authenticity of this information using the hash stored on the public DAG.

https://medium.com/byteball/bringing-identity-to-crypto-b35964feee8e

i am not sure how i feel about this to be honest.

one of the many features of cryptocurrencies have always been the privacy and their anonymity, even the non-anon coins will always focus on these two.

why a coin like Byteball that has the BlackBytes for privacy do something like this? and not only that but add incentive for people to do that. (the giveaway and now the distribution)

Ripple surprised me too. i am surprised every day that XRP price stays above $0.01

a centralized coin that does nothing and is created by the banks has no room in a decentralized market! let alone have a value!

by

it is true. this crash has been going on for a couple of years now. fiat is losing its value against bitcoin every month. USD is crashing hard.

better dump your USD fast before they become worthless.

Re: OMG what happend with Litecoin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by

on 13/12/2017, 06:41:46 UTC
litecoin is one of those altcoins that is old and could survive all these years (nearly as old as bitcoin) and still have a high price and lots of development.

this is all screaming high potential for this coin without a doubt.
so it is no surprise that it is rising like this and doesn't  come down like all the other shitcoin pumps that keep happening every day.

Re: Best Altcoins To Invest In Dec 2017
by
Sniper44
on 13/12/2017, 06:28:19 UTC
Litecoin is still one of the best altcoins to make profit. and it is growing with such a strength each time it rises.

then i would look into IOTA, it is going to have a good future specially in the short term with the pumps that it is going to have.

there are also a lot of smaller altcoins which get pumped every day that i sometimes invest in as a high risk trading option.

i never like anything coming out of China. it is going to be a bad thing in most of the cases and the centralization that causes is not good at all either.
the Chinese are known to only want to pump and dump some coin to get some money quickly.

Re: Dash can go to 900 USD or not?
by
Sniper44
on 11/12/2017, 07:18:15 UTC
i think it can go up that much.
currently there are so many newcomers coming in bitcoin and investing a lot of money in it. soon after, many of them will start thinking about investing their bitcoin in other things like altcoins to make profit on it.
so some of them will buy DASH.

but it will be temporary as these newcomers understand how things work and dump coins like DASH to move on to more promising altcoins with a better pump to make more profit. everyone is greedy.

Re: The CryptoCurrency Avalanche Is Coming
by
Sniper44
on 11/12/2017, 07:07:28 UTC
one of the main things that i have noticed about bitcoin is that so many people are denying its power and potential. you can see one clear example of it in this topic by "bitfools" who has missed the chance to buy bitcoin and instead sold in the dip in fear.

what  this means is that bitcoin continued rising with its normal rising speed based on its real adoption and all those fools stand on the side and watch it grow.
at some point when they see it grown too big and adopted everywhere with mainstream adoption and media talking about it nonstop (probably at $50,000-$80,000) they will start waking up and run to buy it. which causes that "Avalanche" that OP is saying (although wrong term for it IMO) and help the price to shoot up to $150,000 in less than a week.

best altcoin for long term investment ? golem, ripple or lisk

only bitcoin is good for long term investment. i you check these altcons you named and see their price histories you can see that they have been dropping down a lot in the long term for months now.

in other words if you invest in them and hold, you will be losing money every month.

Re: Will UnitedBitcoin Replace Bitcoin?
by

on 09/12/2017, 07:16:47 UTC
as a rule of thumb an altcoin that has the name "bitcoin" in it and most of the times when the altcoin advertisers feel the need to say ".... is replacing bitcoin", this all means that said altcoin is a shitcoin and won't even grow to a half decent size.

if something is to replace bitcoin, it has to be different and better than bitcoin not something that is forked from bitcoin and has all bitcoin  flaws and adds even more flaws to it!

Re: ETH is finished, etherdelta need set gas price to 60, $1+ for one transaction
by
Sniper44
on 08/12/2017, 08:47:30 UTC
transaction fees for ethereum have always been like this because ethereum is a broken altcoin with a lot of bugs. a couple of months ago it went up as high as $2.5 and nobody cared because everyone including the whales controlling the price are on centralized exchanges like poloniex and are manipulating the price there. they don't even make a translation in their whole lives apart from cashing out the bitcoin profit or USD profit they gain from pumping it.

it will die in long run though. you can't have an altcoin like this and survive while other platforms like Waves exist and have no issue like this.

Re: Monero, Zcash and Dash they all claims to be safe, secured and untraceable?
by
Sniper44
on 08/12/2017, 08:18:30 UTC
altcoins make a lot of claims these days and most of them are full of hot air than any real feature.
if you look around one of the most famous claims of this year was the fact that ethereum has fast and cheap transactions and can handle more transactions than bitcoin without any issues. but you can see how it is failing these days to do that claim.

as for anonymity. the only coin that does it properly is Monero. the rest of them have it but not as good as Monero does. that is why XMR has a more solid price than the rest of them.

Re: People think that Bitcoin Cash can disappear?
by
Sniper44
on 13/10/2017, 06:06:22 UTC
all the useless altcoins disappear sooner or later. and bitcoin cash is no exception.

I think that BCH will good when: remove EDA and tranfer DA (like Bitcoin).

This algorithm is only suitable when Bitcoin Cash inherits bitcoin's difficulty on 1.8.

the only reason miners added EDA was to make profit by playing it. and they have done it perfectly so far and made a lot of profit from doing it too.
they won't remove something they want and they added themselves.

Re: What's your exit/take profit plan with Bitcoin?
by
Sniper44
on 13/10/2017, 05:57:53 UTC
my plan so far has been to buy bitcoin and then use that bitcoin to make profit, usually by trading the pump and dump altcoins and enjoy the rides. then buy some more bitcoin as time goes on and i get some money at hand. and then buy even more bitcoin whenever there is a big FUD and a big dump because newbies are panicking.

exit/take profit? i rarely sell a small amount to get my initial investment back but still have a good sum of bitcoin left Cheesy

Re: Why do so many people wait for "bitcoin to crash" to buy some, and miss out
by
Sniper44
on 08/10/2017, 12:40:07 UTC
most people hear something and understand something else!

for example when you say "buy in the dips" they go out of their ways to find a dip so deep that the coin has to die to reach it! in other words they go overboard with their expectations and some of them are actually spreading FUD and they buy a lot higher than they publicly tell others.
