Block Finder BONUS
The block finder doesn't have to pay mining fees! There is no reason to pay bonuses to the finder of the block, because to make up for it other miners will get fewer rewards. While finding a block is not an achievement (it's probability) it is a good deal for the pool and everyone involved, so you don't have to pay any mining fees.

I don't think this is true, I solo mine 2 blocks @ 100 per block and my unconfirmed amount is 197, so it did charge mining fees.

I've been desperately following this thread and searching the internet for more information about my my losses to HF, this line is so far the most truthful thing I have read so far, I know that I have lost my money and I accept that, what hurts me more is the fact I talked my wife in letting me borrow against our home loan to purchase it and now I feel I have let her down.

This is what annoys me:

My order finally gets going and then it just stops, no reason.

I'll try and increase my accepted GH up to kickstart it off again, shouldn't have to monitor and manually control it   .

There has been a server in Singapore several months ago but it wasn't very popular. I'm not sure if there's enough hashpower coming from this region to justify the cost and effort of running a server. I might do a one month trial sometime soon to check the demand.

I would go for a server in Korea, better speed than SG and closer to China.

My tests didn't agree with this, latency was worse for .kr than .sg, but anywhere closer than US is an improvement.

Is there any chance of getting a server up in Singapore or anywhere closer to Australia?
Singapore's load time is nearly 40-45% better than US's here, EU is even higher than US.

Here's a result from a node checker from another pool.

EU load time is undefined msec
US load time is 604 msec
CA load time is 607 msec
CN load time is 644 msec
SG load time is 385 msec
BR load time is 989 msec

That would be great if you do, I had to move away to another pool, the performance difference between pools was huge.

I can't use nicehash or westhash on this server as they mark my order as a dead pool because the pool's difficulty is too low, I used to but the last month or so ago an order of mine went dead 1/2 way through my order.

Can you fix this?

Start difficulty for nodes EU, US and US2 changed to 128. It should work now.

Thanks for this,
it did go dead again, but after I posted the error code, I refreshed and it was alive again..

I just received my VIA payout, so things are getting back online.

So is it safe to continue mining now?

I am still not able to get my coin out,
I'm working to finish all fixes with server. All coins work very slow with many transactions. I have to wait about 6 hours yesterday, until Florincoin rescan my wallets. Another coins not much better.
Now all pending payouts (in payout tab) and not funded mined blocks processed for SexCoin, FlorinCoin, DogeCoin, CHNCoin, NobleCoin, EarthCoin, USDeCoin, Hobonickels and Digibyte.

Since there is nothing in the ready for payout amount, you are most likely seeing this:

I changed btc addresses 3 times now and the two that has been non-active for 1-2 weeks are not zero balance and look like they will never withdraw, I have amounts showing in immature & unexchanged but nothing in the ready for payout total, all be it very small amounts.

I'm guessing they are below a minimum amount?

Hello, guys.
Sorry, I have a really serious family problems now what I should solve before I can spend some time to cryptocurrency. And now I have found what payout server HDD is burned with all daemons started.
First bad news, I need to compile - install - re-download blockchains for all coins.
Second bad news, I don't have backup for some new coins and I'm trying to restore it and I still don't have many free time for this.
But I'll fix all during next days.

Good news, looks like my family problems will be solved soon and I'll start development for my pool and another ideas again.

Again, thanks for your support, all pending problems will be fixed as soon as possible.

This is great news for me, and not only about getting me coins out but I now can return to the pool when things are fixed.

cheers.

what program you using? bfg or cgminer? i noticed a lot of errors 1-3% with cgminer on windows and occasional crashes. i started using cgminer for linux and it runs smooth. minimal errors if any .1% or so. also never crashes running solid for weeks.

I using multiminer with BFG on windows 7 machine.
My errors can be 10-20% most times. it is interesting about linux though, I have Ubuntu install on same machine as 2nd OS in duel boot.
I'm heading back away to work for 2 weeks but I will update the ubuntu and test it on my my next break. (Everything seems to break as soon as I'm away at work)

Thanks for the info.

Cheers.

Stratum Proxy questions
by
Snoz
on 08/09/2014, 03:05:35 UTC
Hi,

I was getting a high amount of errors/rejects so I have setup the stratum proxy to see if this would help me.

I was wondering if I could run the stratum proxy on the same computer that controls the miner? I have it installed on a separate machine at the moment but having the two running at the same time to mine could be  a problem.

Also, would a raspberry pii be capable to run the proxy?  I only have one 28 Mh/s Zoomhash Thunder X3 ASIC mining.

Cheers,

Snoz.

Yep, Niceman seems to have vanished, we're on our own...

+1

ANC & VIA payout not working, not sure of others...
I have tried gmail address, admin@coinmine.pw address, twitter, facebook and now here to try and get support.
Price is increasing and I want to be able to get my coins out.
