Wise words indeed. We have to research and check what is best for our investment portfolios. As you say, a dip in the market is a good opportunity for investors.

Bitcoin is certainly a part of technology and science. I really hope that your project will be successful and that you will get the sponsorship you earnestly desire. I am not in a position to sponsor your project but I do wish you well.

The truth is, cryptocurrency is the future. No two ways about it. But as to which cyptocurrency will ultimately lead the field, we have to wait and watch. My guess is that Bitcoin will lead the way as long as it's possible to do so. Then it's place will be taken by a stronger and more evolved cryptocurrency. But you knew that already. Right?

Re: Perspective about HODL.

I've seen so many different perspectives on 'hodling'. Some say hold on like the grim death no matter what. Others say when Bitcoin makes profits, withdraw some cash and enjoy. It really just depends on the individual, doesn't it? I enjoyed the 'I am hodling' story.

Re: which coins have more potential than bitcoin.

There can only ever be one Bitcoin. It was the first and the original cryptocurency which go tthe ball rolling. But there can never be more than a certain number of Bitcoin in the world. It's days are numbered. A newer, stronger crypocurrency will be required to bring the project forward. I believe the Virie may have the qualities required. If any cryptocurrency can takes us toward a virtual world, this one can. With it's decentralized blockchain and its user friendly market, it's ready for use by the most uncomplicated lay person.  I hope it will be received well. Bitcoin wasn't just the first cryptocurrency. It started as a freedom movement. To free citizens from the tyranny of the banks. That movement will continue and grow as better, faster, smoother crypto coins appear.  We have to wait and watch.

I just read a blog post today about the crowdfunding policy Virie is using to bring up their coin. You don't have to buy it, you can pay $10.00 USD and become a shareholder. You get Virie coins in exchange. This sounds amazing. You can read the post here: https://www.annerainwater.net/blog/virie-s-crowdfunding-campaign

It took me a long time to get merited but when it did, I got the most joyous feeling. I am so happy and thankful to the person or persons who merited me. I don't know how to find out who it was, but whoever it was, thanks so much. It made me even more encouraged on my cryptocurrency journey.

Virie is a new cryptocurrency which is actually a market in addition to being a cryptocurrency. It will make it easy to move money freely around the world. The virtual space doesn't have borders or customs. It's not just a new cryptocurrency. It's a new concept in cryptocurrency. A step forward. There are articles online about it. Re: Would Bitcoin become irrelevant or remain the King?

I've been doing a bit of reading around. Bitcoin was the first and original cryptocurrency. Although it improves with every update, it still has a way to go to evolve to being what as cryptocurrency truly is. We have to way till the cryptocurrency evolves to being the currency it was truly meant to be. Faster, smoother and more user friendly. And this will happen. It's happening.

That really is a matter of opinion and very personal. One way or the other however, it is true that cryptocurrency is here to stay. The whole concept. Decentralization, ease of payments and moving out of the banking system. It is really down to whether you consider cryptocurrency to be a cause of huan interest or a nice place to invest your money and make a quick buck.

Actually, capitalism is on the way out. The economic system as we know it is going. All we have is cryptocurrency now. Or rather, all we will have. That's my view.

That's a decision that only you can make for yourself. When it comes to buying and selling any kind of cryptocurrency, it's entirely your call. No blaming anyone else when it all goes wrong.

Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency?
by

on 21/11/2018, 14:59:30 UTC
I've mentioned here before to the point of boredom that I always heard that whoever wants to invest in the traditional stocks and shares market should not put all their investment in one company. The key is to diversify your portfolio. This way, no matter what way the market works you will hopefully earn more than you lose. Isn't the cryptocurrency market exactly the same in this regard?

I suppose by now those who bought Bitcoin at $1,000 are being cautious. They've made a handsome profit so they want to get out while the going is good. Or rather before losses start to mount up, as they see it.

What about the Virie? I hear it has a very user-friendly interface. I suppose we'll have to see how it performs, though.
