How High Will Bitcoin Go In 2019?
by
Solondrado
on 24/06/2019, 23:03:16 UTC
Right now, BTC yearly high stands strong at $11,300. It looks as if that could get broken within the next week or two. How high do you guys think Bitcoin will go this year? I see some analysts calling for another run up to 20K. I see others calling for 30K+. What are your guys thoughts on how high this market could go? Also, what do you guys think of this article? I think $11,300 could just be the tip of the iceburg

Re: Is WolfpackBot better than CryptoHopper as a trading bot? Is WOLF a buy?
by
Solondrado
on 02/06/2019, 16:24:31 UTC
I have been trying to determine a good trading bot to use to increase my crypto stack slowly over time and a couple youtube videos pointed out Wolfpackbot was something worth looking into; I see mixed results from people on here about the projects Coinomics but I would be buying mainly to trade. My paper trading with their paperbot is doing alright with their default scalping settings (around .5% a day gained)

https://www.wolfpackbot.com/

Wouldn't the Coinomics work out if the bot needs to be paid in their WOLF coin and the bot performs well? It seems like just hodling it then would be a solid move too; or mining it? It is a dash fork after all.

I studied Cryptohopper a little but everyone said it isn't anywhere near as flexible; but is it better for a trading bot noob like me?

Playing with fire be careful. The Gains are at best incremental and the losses at worst catastrophic; however if you use the creators strats you will be ok. Idk about buying WOLF. If the bot works it works and itll increase in Value but I will be doing more study on it before saying either way is good.

Risk tolerance should be no more than 5% of savings since he admitted he was a noob. Use play money to use the bot, then keep compounding those gains.

You already admitted that you are a noob, then why are you using bots to trade? Chances are, bots parameter settings will completely overwhelm you. So I suggest that you learn trading first because buying bots. Bots still needs human intervention(that's you) so if you feed him wrong parameters then it might not give you profits in the end and then you all blame it on the bots. Grin

This OP ^ I use bots on a regular basis. I like Wolfpack bot bcuz of the standard settings and customization options, but with you being a noob...I wouldn’t suggest risking a lot while you’re learning, but use the paper bot as a learning tool.

Facebook Rolling Back Ads On Crypto's...Is This Good Or Bad?
by

So it looks like Facebook is once again changing their policies on crypto currencies (https://tipestry.com/topics/5cd562f5d774147570d8c561/facebook-rolls-back-its-policy-barring-cryptocurrency-ads). Is this good or bad for the community? I think in a way, it's good because it will shed light on garbage projects and bring investors to ones that actually deserve investments. What do you guys think?

Any Use Cases For Dogecoin?
by
Solondrado
on 01/05/2019, 05:09:31 UTC
I was recently tipped a decent amount of Dogecoin on Tipestry for posting about a bunch of different cryptos. Should I convert the Dogecoin to BTC or ETH? Does Dogecoin have a future? I'm thinking about keeping it on Tipestry for a while and then transferring it out to my ledger (assuming I don't convert it to BTC/ETH)

ICO's Have Been Getting EXPOSED! Finally...
by
Solondrado
on 28/04/2019, 18:35:33 UTC
If any of you are still interested in ICO's (I hope the answer is no), then you should know that 99.9% of them are complete garbage. They've been lying about the amount of funds that they raised, project details, project intentions ect. In other words, the majority of these companies are garbage dumpster fires. Companies like Swachhcoin (dumpster fire) got exposed recently on Tipestry. They've been deleting comments in their Telegram that exposed their company as a scam. However, Tipestry allows users to comment on the app as an extension. This way, Swachhcoin and other ICO's can't delete comments that expose their project for what they are...which is garbage.

2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading
by
Solondrado
on 13/02/2019, 00:44:09 UTC
Full time trading with crypto can be HARD! However, a lot of new traders fail due to two fundamental flaws.

1 - Not utilizing discounted trading platforms or functions

2 - Not utilizing stop losses (or setting stop losses in the wrong spots)

Determining where Bitcoin will go hasn't been hard. Determining where Bitcoin will go from a neutral market...now that's a different animal. If you're bullish on a certain crypto always use a stop loss. Look for points of resistance and support, then set your stop losses accordingly. If you are trading and "scalping" your trades, you need to make sure you are paying little to no trading fees. Coinbase pro allows "makers" to pay $0 in fees (limit buy and sell orders). Nauticus is new and offers 99% discounts on all trades atm https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC . Binance allows you to use BNB and receive discounts for it. This isn't rocket science tho guys. Learn how to short, when to open bullish positions, and don't get destroyed by fees from the bigger sites  Grin

Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones?
by
Solondrado
on 03/02/2019, 01:30:45 UTC
Hi everyone; as I'm sure you're all aware new projects continue to flood into the crypto space at a regular pace; (my newest favorite being GRIN and Nauticus) however I am wondering if these can compete with the established projects like BTC and BNB?

https://grin-tech.org/

I feel like Grin is a much more fair playing ground than Bitcoin; with no premine and no ICO etc; and much stronger privacy (maybe better compared to monero?)

https://nauticus.exchange/

Much like Binances BNB due to trade fee reduction; but with FIAT onramping and Securities incoming.

Can newer projects make big enough waves to usurp their much older larger brethren?

IDK too much about Grin, but I should have learned more about it bcuz I heard it's doing really well. As far as Nauticus, I've used the exchange a few times, no issues so far. Does anyone know more about Grin and the purpose behind the project? I'm curious if this is the "next" big thing or not?

Got some NTS tokens via the airdrop. But I dont get it why people keep on shilling this exchange that much? Cant find anything special about it. Does anyone in here have more infos?

Yes, I am same, I followed the Airdrop and Bounty Nauticus, and joined their telegram community https://t.me/nauticusblockchain
They will add 6 Fiat money in their pair exchange, and now one of them is AUD (Australian Currency), trade that has already begun.

I have been a large fan of the Nauticus project since the ICO began; it had a rough time with delays during the great big bear of 2018. The project is finally growing it's sealegs and beginning to show results. The token trading has been opened and the price which initially fell 60% is now up to 80% of the ICO's value with strong buying pressure. I am wondering if any of you have heard of NTS or are hodling it as well.

P.S.

Where did you hear of it from?

I own NTS and plan on trading once USD deposits open up. I heard of it off of here. So far, I've been pretty pleased with the community. The Telegram is similar to Binance which is what I like.

Re: Why I'm NOT Buying Ethereum...
by
Solondrado
on 15/01/2019, 23:34:57 UTC
I will not give up on Ethereum yet. As you just said, STO's requires real investors with huge amount of money, I think their main problem will be the number of real investors that they would have. On the contrary, ICO's can be bought by anyone and I think its a much better risk than STO's with only few investors on it. The only problem with ICO's are the scams, if crypto can take care of it, Ethereum has a long way to go.

This =  Grin
That's my stance on the situation. I think ETH might fall further. It just depends on what BTC does, the fork, and then the future for STO's.

Re: Why I'm NOT Buying Ethereum...

Intro:

Back in 2017 it looked as if Ethereum was on its rise to becoming a dominant crypto in this sector, then the crash happened...After the big crash the entire crypto market took a hit, but Ethereum seemed to take the biggest hit out of any top 10 coin in the market. Ethereum was eventually "gapped" by XRP. Recently Ethereum has been fighting back to reach 2nd place in the cryptoverse, but here's why I think this will prove to be ineffective.

Ethereum:

The biggest problem with Ethereum is ICO's. ICO's are becoming a thing of the past and STO's are starting to takeover. This could save Ethereum from plummeting further, but the issues is with the fact STO's won't be as big of a craze as ICO's were. STO's require REAL results, while ICO's were just ideas and white papers. STO's require REAL investors with a BIG net worth, while (most) ICO's allowed anyone to invest. The main issue is that not many people will be able to buy into these STO's. There also won't be as many of them as ICO's. I think STO's could actually be successful and potentially great for this community, but their impact on the ETH price won't be near as great as ICO's were.

Where We Are Today:

There are still tons of quality projects out there that have the potential for big rises. Bitcoin is the leader in this market and one can assume will always have some type of value regardless of fundamental uses. Nauticus has been generating a lot of buzz recently with their launch and there's potential for their NTS token to do well within this community. Certain STO's are making great strides in the market and appear to be legitimate projects that should further legitimize this community. WEAK PLAYERS are bailing on crypto & this is GREAT. We want all of the scammers OUT of this community, so that quality projects can soak up the money that is left behind.

That's so sad anyone who have invested in nautius has already lost more than 50% from the ico price in the bitcoin terms. This is pure a garbage thread to shilling for nauticus. are these STOs registered in SEC? not even one of them. ethereum is utility and you should know the differences. jajajajaja

That's just people dumping their "free" bounty tokens. "This is pure a garbage thread"...nice grammar. "Ethereum is utility and you should know the differences" that was literally my entire point. Ethereum is a utility token that will be worthless without either STO's or ICO's. ICO's are dead, so if STO's don't emerge as the "next big thing", then what use does Ethereum have? Also, NTS is a utility token. I would much rather buy BNB or NTS over ETH. Both BNB and NTS are both utility tokens that have uses tied to their exchanges. Ethereum could function at $1 the same way it functions at $118, therefore I see ETH going MUCH lower. The utility functionality of Ethereum is on its deathbed. They couldn't even get the fork right, they just delayed it today  Shocked

Re: Will STO's Work?

What do you guys think? Will STO's be able to compete in the crypto market and actually succeed? I'm glad to see ICO's die out. They were consuming too much market cap +90% of the projects were garbage. I made a list of 100 ICO's I seen promoted back in April and only a select few of them are doing well. Nauticus launched (https://nauticus.exchange/) which is great news for the exchange community, but unfortunately today Cryptopia suffered a hack. We seem to take one step forward, followed by one step back...What do you guys think?

That depends on how good the project is. If the project listing as a STO is "quality", then I think it will prove to be an effective venture.

I agree with this, but there were a few ICO's that made it big. Binance used to be a tiny exchange with nearly no volume and look at them now. Nauticus was just in there ICO phase and they raised over 19 million dollars. Both of these feats were impressive considering how hard it is to make it in crypto.

And I, on the contrary, buy Ethereum, and I believe in its further growth. The new update will fix the previous errors

The update was just delayed, but it should help. Right now I'm leaning more towards Bitcoin, Nauticus, and as much as ppl hate it a little XRP (yes I know all about XRP and the difference between Ripple lol).

Re: Nauticus Is The Future
by
Solondrado
on 10/01/2019, 16:06:05 UTC
Bullish Stance For Nauticus:

Nauticus could make investors a lot of money in the future. Many of the top named analysts in this community are calling a bottom for crypto currencies. As a community, we have an exorbitant amount of positive news on the horizon. If Bitcoin TRULY bottoms within Q1 of 2019, then we could see substantial increases in coins like NTS. NTS is the Nauticus exchange token. At the moment, I am bullish that this coin will perform well alongside BTC. However, because this coin is new and tied to the exchange, I think it has a chance to emulate what BNB did last year. This is something that has great potential; that potential will only be increased if we embark on another bull run.

Nautics Info:

I believe in the project, but tbh this market is atrocious right now. I'm still waiting for a better entry point before getting back into crypto in general...

Interesting that we could do an unessential weapon to outperform bitcoin and the ethereum... Its to make the most  ungrateful day.

Not market cap, but in terms of price movement, then yes.

If The market cap reaches the top 200 for any coin, then it’s a success to some degree.

Trading Can Be Difficult With Tight Stop Losses
by
Solondrado
on 08/01/2019, 16:44:22 UTC
I see a lot of traders talk about setting tight stop losses. The problem with this is that you can get stopped out + incur a fee for the stop loss. Managing exorbitant fees can get pricey, especially if you're day trading or utilizing arbitrage. The easiest way to trade is to find exchanges that offer the lowest fees for buying, selling, utilizing stop losses ect. Right now Nauticus is offering .001% fees, so this is an exchange that you could potentially utilize (https://nauticus.exchange/). Also, it is important to watch out for people on twitter claiming to use TA's. I see a lot of people constantly changing their TA's every hour. This isn't "Trend Analyses", but rather guessing...
