guys can you tell me about  hashrate of r9 380?
you can get max 175 Sol/s on v11

that sounds way too low. perhaps 275?

i have 6 r9 380s.  they get 166 -- the 380x are same speed as 380.  (stock clocks, settings on v11)

Hey Claymore, ever since I've started to use the new v8, I've been facing many crashes while using Photoshop or any other such software. It's really annoying and I've tried all the possible intensities as well as other overclocking stuff, but unable to fix it. One thing I've done along the usage of your new version is the driver update. Do you think that it could be happening because of the new driver version of Crimson or is it any known issue of your new miner's version?

Using RX 480's by the way...

You cannot use your rig while mining.
Just let your Machine to Mine only thats it  Grin
Uhh, this couldn't be farther from the truth. I use my rig with 2 480's in it all day while mining 24/7.  I don't have any issues, other then things that require GPU acceleration, for that i can just stop mining until I'm done.

My main computer has two r9 290x in it.  I play overwatch / hearth stone / heroes of the storm while mining.  My hashrate drops on primary video card from 245 to 145 but i do not experience any stability issues or glitching in the games.  I do sometimes need to reboot once every couple weeks though.  Stock clocks / memory, no flags /modifiers in my start.bat except my wallet address and such.  On my other machines with r9 380s or 380x 4gb this is not possible, but seems the 290x have horsepower to spare / multitask better.

Does anyone know average H/s & power draw for stock R9 380 4Gb? Miner ver 7.0 ofc.
I found some used ones on sale for cheap, so considering to buy.
Thanks

If you pay for electricity IMO you should not buy them. Too much power consumption for ~120H/s.

I agree.  I have 6 (4 380s, 2 380x)  Both get the same speed for Zcash and eth.

stock clocks in a rig with 4 380s
420 sols/sec zcash v7   650 watts
82mh/sec eth v7.3  800 watts without dual mining

Can someone say what is the power draw from the wall for Sapphire 280X Dual-X/Vapor-X?

For what its worth.  My stock clocked/volts 4x r9 380 rig went from 805 watts while mining ethereum (not dual mining)  to 652 watts on Zcash claymore v4  never measured v1 -- but based on temps and fan speed it had to be less.

Am i the only one that does not like higher speeds?  If the new miner is faster and everyone is using the new miner then we do not benefit and our electric bill rises?  my stock 4gb 480s went from 42h/s to 54h/s

When we were on V1 -- lower fan speeds, lower noise, lower utility bill.  If i dont switch to v3 i lose profit -- but if we had all stayed on v1 -- we would all be better off

By the time its launched, zec will be less profitable then eth...  I got all my machines switched over to zcash finally running stable and the price has dropped by 50% while difficulty increases 200% every couple days.  another week i might switch back to eth for stability.

I am wondering which better more profitable options exists there, now that eth price has dropped and is below other algorithms profitability. Do you mind to share?

Well I have 11 video cards (220mh/s), my next electric bill will be near $400 and im estimated to make $511 a month (which has been dropping)  im pretty close to pulling the plug on ethereum.  I pay high kwh fees from June - sept if i go over 600kwh though.

Which motherboards do you use for Ethereum?

I just built a new system for mining.  Asrock Z170 pro4, g4400, 8gb ddr4 -- looks like i made a mistake.  seems others are having problems with Z170 chipset too?  It has 2 16x slots 3 1x slots, i have 1x usb powered risers -- but system wont boot or run stable. screen corrupts display even in bios, but if i unhook the 1x risers it works fine again. My AMD Fm2+ rigs are all working fine with non usb risers 4 cards going 24x7  I was looking forward to running 5 or 6 cards per motherboard when 480s ship.

i have 6 380s and 2 290x.  i love my 290x but they are so hot and loud.  plus take a lot of power.    One rig has a 270x and 3 380s.  73.5mh/sec 800 watts  my two 290x are underclocked, undervolted (26mh/sec each) and still run 84C at a very loud 65% fan speed.  My PCS 380x does 20.5mh/sec and you cant even hear the computer running. 72C

Also i game while i mine.  my 290x loses 4mh/sec while gaming, i still get 95FPS.  Just tried that on a 2gb 380.  FPS stutters averaged around 50 but didnt feel like it.  lost 16mh/sec

I have an Asrock Z170 pro4, same problem.  16x slots work fine, 1x slots corrupt the screen at bios if when it boots to windows hard locks.  I tried latest bios update, tried different usb risers

Anyone have issues with Windows 10 where the start file when run it just looks like it opens real quick and then close?  My Claymore was working for a few days and now is acting up like this.  Re-install the OS and it would work the first time and after reboot it would do the same.  Driver version is 15.12 AMD R9 390

check windows 10 is not deleting it on you.. it was posted a few posts back.  Also you can shift right click the folder you have the batch file in  and open command window in that folder.. then type the bat that way you can see the error without it closing the window

This happen to me for the first time last night.  i created an exclusion in windows defender and that got me up and running.

i was planning on ordering 5 480s when they launch.. but i just picked up 2 290x for $400.  undervolted / clocked im getting 25mh/sec and the temps and noise are reasonable.  I have a feeling with difficulty increases i may not be in ethereum too much longer.  id rather mine now then wait weeks for the 480s to ship.

The nanos will have to drop in price or they will stop selling.  Who is going to buy a $450 nano over a $199 480 or a $379 1070?  Ive already seen brand new 390s drop to $259 on newegg now and ive been watching the prices of 390s daily since april

You might have a point, but with a market cap of over a billion USD... i would say we are past the hype.
