Re: Basic Account can still withdraw to Bittrex and Poloniex without verification?

If you have a legacy account on Poloniex (created a year or more ago), then you have 2000$ daily limit for withdrawal, otherwise you must go through verification.

If you want to withdraw from bittrex you must do verification for all (old and new) accounts.
They have basic verification, where you just enter your name and address. It's meant for people from US, but almost never works.
Then is an enhanced verification (for all other countries) where you must send them images of your IDs and selfies, which must match entered data in basic verification. If you don't want to send them this (due to fear of identity theft and similar), then your assets are stuck there and you don't have any means to withdraw them (they've basically stolen your money).

From my current perspective, Poloniex did far better migration to KYC. Bittrex messed a lot of things up with KYC implentation, on top with veeeeery slow support.

This is what I got today:

Quote
Due to an unprecedented amount of growth in a relatively short amount of time we're experiencing a longer than usual wait time responding to and resolving your requests. This wait time has also increased the number of duplicate tickets entered on the same issues, further slowing down our agents ability to get to your request in a timely manner. We apologize greatly for the wait and we are actively training new personnel and streamlining our support system to better handle the demand.

You are receiving this update as we've identified your ticket as having not received the care and attention typically seen from Bittrex Support. We are grateful for your support and understanding as we work to improve our process and respond to requests.

** WE ASK THAT IF YOUR ISSUE HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN SOLVED THAT YOU REPLY TO THIS EMAIL OR UPDATE YOUR TICKET AT https://bittrex.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/579360. **

If your issue has been solved you do not have to do anything. We will send you a reminder in a few days and if we do not hear back from you we will close this ticket for you.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we scale our support team to handle the increased demand.

Best Regards,

Bittrex Support Team @ Bittrex

Hey everybody. Bittrex has said that anybody who has multiple tickets open should log into their support account and delete all but your first ticket. If they are really trying to f*** everybody sending lots of tickets is neither going to bother them or help you. If they are trying to process all of these tickets manually clearing out the useless ones will help speed it up...

And how to delete a ticket?  You can only mark it as solved.

And it happened like i predicted it will happen somewhere

Bittrex ‘Leaks’ User Passports In Support Emails, Says Russian Telegram Channel

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bittrex-leaks-user-passports-in-support-emails-says-russian-telegram-channel

If you know your documents got leaked please send me a PM

I'm surprised how easily people send their IDs to unknown persons  (let it be bittrex or somebody else).  They can simply use your documents to open a bank account and doing some illegal business all in your name....
I also have couple of thousands usd there, but not considering sending them anything.

It would appear Bittrex has changed their TOS again without notification...  The restricted states where NOT on there when I signed up!

But probably FBI and similar agencies force them to implement verification in the first place.

The only thing I resent bittrex is not sending out the info couple of months or weeks in front that withdrawals will be disabled unless verified. This would help users to withdraw their assets, when don't feel comfortable sending their IDs. What I don't understand is why can other exchanges have withdrawals to a certain limit without any verification, but not bittrex.

Hello

Did anyone try to request to close the account down?
Would they close it down and send you the remaining balance? Or they would just keep your coins?

My pending support tickets for basic verification: 579360, 577670 (I just want to have the basic done, without sending any id scans to them, otherwise I would rather close down the account, but not before getting my coins back of course).

Bittrex always seemed to be among the top exchanges (fast, reliable, without any incidents), but now they would need to work really hard to get the reputation back.

I hope for a good solution for all of us.
