Little update on testing my BIOS modded rx580 mini rig. This is dual mining keccac and always the same bat file
v11.0 - 61.3 mhs with heavy fluctuation into the mid 50s v11.5 - 61.9 mhs with heavy fluctuation as above -oldkernels 1 option used v11.5 - 62.2 mhs fluctuation of a tenth at most(62.15 to 62.25), seems stable on the new kernels for some reason?
Heavy fluctuation would be down into the mid 50s. Sometimes for a few minutes. Each card would randomly drop 3-10%.
Here's the difference between when 11.5 was unstable (4%+ rejected no matter how much I slowed, plus freezing) with the new kernels and now:
- Not running HWinfo - I didn't run GPUZ before, but it's important NOT to run it while mining - updated to the new video drivers that came out march 19, minimal install which may be very important. I had the bloat installed before. - disabled QuickEdit mode in console - Disabled all power states in the video card BIOS except the top
The card speeds and voltages are the same as before when I had instability. I can't think of anything else that has changed. Be careful updating to the new AMD drivers. They will block all overdriving software until you run pixel clock patcher. The patcher wasn't required before for all cards, now it will be. I hope some here find this useful and Claymore as well. Happy mining.
PS will report back after running 24 hours on the new kernels. I've only been running an hour but I can tell something has changed.
What you mean by "Disabled all power states in the video card BIOS except the top"? Can you share some picture?
@Spacemarko - it does. I've got many of those boards running 12 AMD GPUs under win10 with 17.11.1 driver. Do mind that you'd need to connect molex to the board if you want to connect more than 10 GPUs

Is there any additional setup in the BIOS?

Can som1 let me know how much is making one RX470/570 in usd ir eur?
It must be the power requirements within the motherboard bios, rx 480 was an 8 pin maximum, some rx 580 has 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin so in turn. mb bios is not accepting that cause mb power running amperage is way higher. The issue relies on motherboard bios, need to mod the motherboard bios for it to accept 6 cards or more. If you think about, it makes no sense why is not working. It should work. I advise you to try 7x rx 570.
No it is not MB BIOS. At same system (12xrig) I had 6x RX470, working like a charm, but now with 6x 570 it is not working. You will have all 6 RX 570 vga, you will install driver, and after that system will not boot in to Windows 10.
The latest version of Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.4.4 drivers, fixes many of the issues that were present with version 17.4.3 drivers, like for instance issues with Battlefield 1 with multi GPU and HDMI scaling related problems. As always, you can download the latest AMD Crimson ReLive drivers over at AMD's support page.
Fixed Issues
Some displays may experience corruption when using HDMI scaling. Battlefield 1 may experience stuttering in Multi GPU mode with 4K display resolutions when using DirectX11. HDR colors may appear incorrect in Mass Effect : Andromeda on the latest Windows10 Creators Edition update. Some incorrect or unavailable feature descriptions may appear in Radeon Settings under the more/less help section. Radeon RX 550 series graphics products may experience a hard hang when the user's system has not been rebooted for long periods of time. Reboot prompt may be missing after Radeon Software installation on AMD XConnect technology system configurations.
Known Issues
HDTV displays may intermittently lose signal on some Radeon RX 480 series graphics products when connected over HDMI. Call of Duty : Advanced Warfare may experience a game hang when performing a task switch. Radeon WattMan may fail to apply settings on some Radeon R9 390 series graphics products. Radeon Settings may crash on switching Windows user after toggling AMD CrossFire technology mode. A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background. Counter-Strike : Global Offensive and World of Warcraft may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue.
Known Issues for Radeon ReLive
The XBOX DVR application may cause conflicts with Radeon ReLive, users are suggested to disable XBOX DVR if Radeon ReLive is experiencing issues. Radeon ReLive may fail to install on AMD APU Family products or experience a system hang or failure to record when using the recording feature on AMD APU Family products. Radeon ReLive may intermittently fail to work after performing task switches of applications in multi display system configurations. A work around is to disable and then enable the feature in Radeon Software. Radeon ReLive may exhibit corruption in recordings when capturing Microsoft Office applications. Radeon ReLive may experience recording or streaming issues when task switching using ALT+TAB.
