I am thinking in investing my savings into Bitcoin and try to get some profit when the price of BTC goes up, but is it actually profitable?

What I meant was that when I try to log in with my Xapo email the page doesn't let me and a message appears. It says: "NEW USERS NEED INVITE CODE TO JOIN THIS FAUCET !
BECOURSE OF MASSIVE CHEATERS !"
 This new... he might be coding at the moment ill try him on skype

If everyone stops mining, BTC would just stay there, "unmined", until someone starts again. There are enough BTC already to keep it working, but the price would probably go up.
