Elon’s autopilot has already saved so many lives. I am shocked at how good it is. Everyone I give a ride in my truck leaves saying they’re going to buy a Tesla. Add that to making mankind a multi-planetary species and giving us back the freedom of speech… My only conclusion is if you don’t appreciate Elon Musk, you’re very obviously brainwashed and need to take a step back and think hard about why you are such a miserable person.

Agreed.

Re: Latest raids by DODGE - FBI, agencies,... illegally collecting personal data
by
Spendulus
on 09/02/2025, 16:03:30 UTC
Despite Elon not having been appointed for anything nor have any congress endorsement, DODGE is acting as some short of paramilitary force forcefully taking over the systems of several administrations - including the FBI - and illegally gathering personal information from thousands of government employees.

Since the people who would normally prosecute this are basically the FBI and other agencies that are being raided, there is no real option for asking for justice or prosecuting.

I am sure some in the US are absolutely OK with this, but for some it may be starting to look like a dictatorship in the building. All the institutions under threat, the justice system no longer independent from the executive and a congress that is unable to control the wildest illegal actions of the executive.

Be careful of what you wish for, you may get it.

Both men are incredibly strong-willed. If their interests clash, could Trump end up kicking Musk out? It wouldn’t be the first time. Remember, former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson found out he was fired through a tweet. So, if Musk’s interests ever conflict with Trump’s, could he face a similar fate?

One thing you can bet on, with Trump and Musk both working together.

Re: How About a Temporary Amendment for a 3rd Term for Trump?
by
Spendulus
on 08/11/2024, 00:17:39 UTC
Let's just make him king for life and be done with it. Enough of that whole election and democracy nonsense, waste of money. Make him the king of the whole world while we're at it, I'm sure other countries won't mind.
Oh, now be reasonable. I wouldn't go that far. But the Democrats have made some decent suggestions that should be followed thru with. Like packing the Supreme Court. We should go ahead now and implement this fine idea.

Add six conservative justices.

How'd you like a string of 12-3 decisions?

....
Quite possibly, Trump's second term will be a disaster, and the next Democratic candidate won't have to be that great to win, like Biden in 2020. But undoubtedly there will be an actually-popular Democratic president at some point in the future, like Bill Clinton or Obama. It's hard to predict what message they'll use, though.

For a very long time, Democrats have relied on their "rainbow coalition", where they promise tons of ultra-targeted handouts meant to appeal to many different minority groups. But now many ethnic/religious minorities are leaning more and more Republican because these groups tend to be more socially conservative.
....
The next decade will be very different.

With Trump and Musk working together, one thing is for sure.

We're going to Mars.

We'll likely have McDonalds there and pay in crypto.

Re: Trump has promised to commute the sentence of Ross Ulbricht
by
Spendulus
on 08/11/2024, 00:02:35 UTC

At least now we'll be able to find out Smiley
I think that he'll do something. Maybe not release him, but the word was said, so he'll honor it somehow and he clearly said he'll commute the sentence "on day1" so let's just wait and see what happens.
He had considered it in 2020, but probably had too many things on his mind at the end of his presidency. Now there's enough time, so I'm pretty sure something will be done in this matter.
His exact words were: we’re going to get him home. IMO Ross can start packing.

First priority should be to get ALL the recent political prisoners out of jail - notably the Jan 6 group.

Ross should IMO be out of jail because of the twisted legal arguments that caused him to get there. I hope it happens.

Kamala is rising in the polls... if they are telling the truth.

Personally, I don't understand it. With Trump promising to get rid of the Federal income tax, I would think that everybody would vote for Trump, love him or hate him. Do people really love taxation that much? Or haven't they heard this Trump promise?

Cool

Re: To american people : do you appreciate "Israël" to steal your money ?
by
Spendulus
on 18/10/2023, 15:57:24 UTC

Any money spent to eliminate terrorists is money well spent.

Right now America has two military enemies: Iran and Russia and one frenemy: China.

When Russia did the same think they are against it and supported the Ukraine whereas Palestine ask for the same but US is supporting and financing the invasion so it shows the double standards of US.

At the end of the day Innocent lives were taken and the money used to finance is also coming from the innocent tax payers working hard and pay tax to government.

You got it backwards. Ukraine never attacked Russia before 2022. Russia has been attacking Ukraine since Feb. 2014.

The US is on the side that is fighting (Palestinian, Iranian, Russian) terrorists.

There is no double standard. Israel has been attacked by terrorists on a daily basis. So is Ukraine.

All the lying is quite annoying isn't it?

Re: Target now being boycotted for their pro-trans childrenswear
by
Spendulus
on 09/06/2023, 14:28:40 UTC
It would appear that Target is the current boycott to watch as people are unhappy with the 'tucking' clothing and pro-trans products being marketed to children.  The left has finally gotten the right to start taking boycotts seriously.  All it took was a man dressed up like a woman on a beer can.  Do you think this boycott will be as effective as the Budweiser boycott?  Target executives are already having emergency meetings to try and get ahead of this issue as they do not want their sales to reflect a 25% decline like Bud Light.

https://www.thestreet.com/retailers/target-faces-bud-light-like-woke-backlash-boycott-calls

Great! Go woke, go broke.

Hammer them with boycotts.

Why stop with Bud Light? This is not a "light" boycott, it is full strength.

Repeat the mantra: GO WOKE, GO BROKE!

In 100 years, I could imagine a society where young people are expected to find a gender identity in the same way as they find other aspects of themselves, and maybe their gender identity changes a few times over their lives. Imagining such a society doesn't bother me at all. I think it's totally workable ...
Sure but it's a lot simpler to go in the other direction: Instead of 86/whatever genders, just one.

He is a little bit of more than these:

Mafia Commission Trial

Quote
The Mafia Commission Trial (in full, United States v. Anthony Salerno, et al)[1] was a criminal trial in New York City, United States, that lasted from February 25, 1985, until November 19, 1986. Using evidence obtained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 11 organized crime figures, including the heads of New York's so-called "Five Families," were indicted by United States Attorney Rudolph Giuliani under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) on charges including extortion, labor racketeering, and murder. Eight of them were convicted under RICO, and most of them were sentenced to 100 years in prison on January 13, 1987, the maximum possible sentence under that law.

I am laughing my ass off at those clueless turds trying to picture him as a clown.
...

It's simply a tactic. Ridicule. Part of a weird effort to secure a new POTUS in the court of public opinion.

But the Kraken is now out. The SCOTUS has the Texas case. That does not necessarily mean that Trump will win the four states in question.

This is important because it represents a way forward out of what I described as "the shitshow". It DOES NOT ask the SC to decide the election for Trump.

A) The US right now is the joke of the entire world. They watch a classical insurrection take place here. The sort of thing people in many countries have tragically, lived through. The Texas case requires the four defective, suspect states votes to be redone in a logical and dignified manner. Should this happen, the US will be showing the world a sane way out, and we'll regain their respect. Even perhaps teach them something.

B) If the SC does not find for the Plaintiff, the stolen election stands. 70 million Americans will never forget it and the country will be divided as never before. It won't go away, and these people will essentially consider Trump a martyr. If the SC finds for the Plaintiff, the four states legislatures will produce their electors per the Constitution. Trump voters will accept that regardless of whether the result is for or against their wishes. The Democrat overlords will have no rationale basis to call their little BLM / Antifa thugs back into the streets. Not that it would matter if they did.

SUMMARY: The Texas lawsuit presents a rational and dignified way out of a sordid mess.

even after a sex change operation (it only replaces genitals) the other muscles in arms and legs are still masculine. ...

Bet if you tried to restrict them to mens' sports they'd bitch.
And bitch they would. I guess those that approved for such participation are professionals and have their bases but, the fact that the makings of man's body was already in place, one signal genital doesn't alter the whole thing.

I know people would argue that some women are more muscular than men but in those cases are often due to genetic mutation or steroid enhanced muscle development. Science will always tell you, a man has 40+ percent of the body as muscles while a woman has just about 20-28 percent. This explains for the soft body nature of a woman and in sports, it'd often about the muscles.
Allowing transgender participation is just an introduction of bias and that isn't good for the spirit of a good sportsmanship.
Yes. Although there will always be exceptions; some women runners have very little body fat. I have know a couple that were very strong. But those exceptions should be the winners and rightfully so.
