[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

We have to find a block first  Wink
Luckpool is small zcl pool so sometimes it takes a few days before you see any balance improvements  Cool

Hello. It is possible in premium version. Switching between servers and miners by Telegram.

Hi. Yes I know that, I am a premium customer :-)
My problem is when setting up the config file for several coins on for example luckpool I can't tell the pools apart on telegram.. Luckpool only use different ports for different coins. So my list on telegram just states:

Miner Watcher:
RIG01: To switch between servers, use /server command.

Current pool server:
1 - luckpool.org

Pool servers list:
1. luckpool.org
2. luckpool.org
3. luckpool.org
4. luckpool.org
5. luckpool.org

You see my problem now ;-)

@Acrefawn

Suggestion:
Can we have a telegram "coin switch" :-)
I would really like to be able to have separate config files for separate coins, and then switch between them with a telegram command. Maybe naming config files zec, Zen, zcl etc etc, and execute it like "/coin rigname Zen" :-)

Btw. Thanks for the great script!

Hi Acrefawn

Just started using your script with dstm 0.5.3 on a 8x1060 rig.

Got one problem right out of the gate Tongue The script can only detect 7 out of 8 gpu's?
If you can look at the screenshot you can see that all gpu's are working in dstm miner.

Bad screenshot from a phone trough remote desktop...

Outer than that it's working good as far as i can tell Smiley

Great work on the miner.

I know CPU usage is an issue...but I'm running the latest version and my CPU usage is around 90% at all times.  Is this still normal?

Also, is there a way to configure the start.bat file so the miner will mine from 2 or more different pools?  Designate some cards to 1 pool and the remainder to another?  Or do you have to open 2 instances of the miner with 2 different start files?  I'm pretty sure my CPU couldn't handle that..LOL

How much of it does zm consume?

Yes, you have to open 2 instances.

With the miner running my CPU usage is 88%.  The main draws are: system=37%  CMD processor 29%  System Interrupts 17%

With the miner off my CPU usage is 6-8%

Using EWBF my system interrupts are around 4% and total CPU usage is around 50%

Had the same issue with CPU usage, in my case it was msi afterburner causing it. Removed, rebooted and installed a fresh version sorted it for me. Well CPU still at ~20% but that's ok 😀

Re: Dual Musicoin/DCR Mining

Something not right in your config, your batch file says music @ epool.io and dcr @ supernova and your log says eth @ nanopool and pasc @ nanopool Wink

Check config.txt, epool.txt and dpool.txt

Thanks for the reply Spitkicker.  The Musicoin pool I mine from requires the use of an ETH miner (see here: https://gmc.epool.io/#/help) pointed where it is.  The musicoins are mined fine and I can confirm them in my wallet.  It's just the DCR that's a problem.

I pulled the batch info from config.txt as you suggested, filled in with current info, and ran it.  Both music coin and DCR are coming up as authorized, eth (musicoin) shares are accepted just like before but still getting rejected DCR shares  Angry  What else could it be?  I'm about to email Suprnova and say wtf mate.

Oc the gpu's to much? Check for memory errors with something like hwinfo64 or try lowering your dcr intensity? "You can change the intensity in runtime with "+" and "-" keys and check current statistics with "s" key."

Hey Everyone,

After many failed attempts, I've run out of options that I currently comprehend and ask for your help.  I'm currently successfully mining Musicoin and unsuccessfully mining DCR out of curiosity and obviously not profit.  No matter what I seem to do, 100% of my DCR shares fail.  Here's what I've gathered and attempted based on reading here, watching YouTube, praying to every god I can think of, etc..

1) Turned off MSI Afterburner (I have 2-1070s)
2) Changed my intensity to 80
3) Tried changing port to 3344 as per other earlier posts
4) Changed back to what suprnova states is correct for Claymore
Code:
-dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal mydcrwallet.worker -dpsw 12345
5) I'm running Claymore 10.0
6) I've tried it on 2 separate machines
7) Again, Musicoin mining is succesful
8 )....
9) Drink
10) Not profiting Sad

Here's what I'm seeing on Claymore
