Re: What will happen if Bitcoin gets official permission from the government...???
by
SportaICO
on 21/09/2018, 17:33:21 UTC
Bitcoin is an independent Cryptocurrency that no other third party takes advantage of transactions from two sides. This is a peer to peer transaction conducted by sellers and buyers only. Cryptocurrency transactions do not need to be identified or verified by the recipient of the funds when the funds are sent, that is what makes many people choose to use bitcoin.

Does the government mix in managing transactions for each user?

If the government mixes in managing transactions, will they take advantage of every transaction Huh

What is your opinion.?

Tracking users and controlling the transactions will become an extremely difficult task for the government of any country.
And obviously, every authority wants to be aware of the transactions going on inside their borders.

Re: Using cryptocurrency as payment method in sports is key to mass adoption
by
SportaICO
on 21/09/2018, 16:15:54 UTC
Sports is one thing that unites the entire world. Even countries who appears to be political and economic rivals are usually united around sports as evident during world tournament events like the World Cup and the Olympic Games.

I believe if cryptocurrency is adopted as payment method for sporting activities including domestic league games stadium tickets and more importantly, the most watched league event in the world such as the UEFA Champions League, cryptocurrency global adoption will be actualized even earlier than expected.

What are your opinions?

Definitely, sport has a lot of power when it comes to spreading currencies (or cryptocurrencies) around the globe, but would it be fair enough to impose this process on humans right away? If gamblers for instance are left with nothing else but cryptocurrencies to pay for the odds, this would be unfair.

A good idea would probably be a combination of crypto and non-crypto methods.

Re: I would like to give my opinion about BTC and its future
by
SportaICO
on 15/06/2018, 13:38:56 UTC
Hi this is just my opinion and do not take it as a fact.

I am very saddened by this crash because I know so many teenagers who invested into crypto with their college funds during december/january rush and now they have nothing left.
My advice to you, please get out of crypto if you have families and children to feed. this is the game of whales and greediness and they will steal all your money and unless you are a very early investor, they will send you onto the streets. Cryptocurrency can be compared to religion. religion for centuries was used to control population and enslave them. Cryptocurrency is used by few hundred people who own half of btc that manipulate the market in a way where regular people have a delusional hope that one day they will get rich so you put money into crypto using loans, credit cards, mortgaging houses. Banks overseen it and now they try to ban it. Dont excluse the odds of that whales know each other are high and together they can easily nullify  the market to take all your money leaving you broke. Once the market becomes worthless the cycle repeats. people please get out now the market CAN crash to 3k or below and it is inevitable because it is not decided by the world, its decided by few people.  I was a victim of bitcoin scam too. i invested 10k into trx  when it was 24 cents and 2k into ela at 90$ and icx 35k satoshi and now I am broke. I just have 1500$ left from 12k and I will aknowledge my losses and get into real regulated market. there are much better markets out there where you are fully protected. my wife invested into shopify last year her stocks went from 35$ to 190$ and it will only grow. no market manipulation whatsoever. stop feeding the whales please. blockchain is the future, I agree. however i believe when institutions step in, it will be regulated but they will use  their own network rather than the corrupted btc and this is why btc can one day just disappear.

A loss is the biggest risk in an investment world, so it's smart to invest as much as you are ready to lose.

There are very low if any guarantees for the money you invest.

Re: Market's Future without all Cryptocurrencies?
by
SportaICO
on 15/06/2018, 12:16:27 UTC
I have been wondering that if the crypto currency did not come in the world then what would be the future of world's market then?

I know it affects the market both in positive and negative ways but what if this wasn't present in the world and no crypto currency present then what would be the conditions now?

Your thoughts and answers?

Overall, cryptocurrencies are not considered to be the world currency yet, as there is a lack of official law regulations.

Yes, the absence of a middleman and transparency behind crypto are important, but it's too early to claim about its effect on a global market.

Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto's identity revealed ?
by

on 12/06/2018, 18:05:22 UTC
I have found an article on zycrypto.com - https://zycrypto.com/bootstrapped-gavin-satoshi-nakamotos-identity-revealed/
It tells us that Satoshi is probably found by stylometry method. Maybe, he is - Gavin Andresen. His tweet about it -https://twitter.com/gavinandresen/status/1002596006100439045

What do you think about it ? Do you trust this stylometry method ?

It's useless when it comes to scientific articles which are often written in the same style.

Country of origin, Alma-mater contribute to this person's perception.

Anyways, mentioned above is unimportant because Bitcoin has already succeeded as a cryptocurrency and the developers' personality doesn't play a vital role.

Re: Does bitcoin will double its value by the end of the year?
by
SportaICO
on 12/06/2018, 17:58:42 UTC
Despite recent price woes, experts are predicting that Bitcoin will double in value by the end of the year.
https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/06/07/experts-predict-bitcoin-will-double-in-value-by-the-end-of-the-year/

Do you think this will happen? If this will happen I will invest most of my money in this bitcoin.

Taking into consideration the upcoming possible solution to law regulations in the USA, and the EU, Bitcoin could double in value by the end of this year.

Also, it depends on other countries' law regulations. Bitcoin is constantly balancing, for instance, last year it raised in its value, while half a year ago it dropped dramatically.

Of course, you can rely on Bitcoin, but it's essential to invest in various tokens and/or cryptocurrencies.

Re: TRUST AND TRANSPERANCY IN BLOCKCHAIN
by
SportaICO
on 12/06/2018, 16:32:15 UTC
Blockchain has been referred to as a "revolutionary technology" by IBM, and a "once in a generation opportunity" by PricewaterhouseCoopers. But the most accurate title came from The Economist when they honoured the technology with the title of "the trust machine".

It has been a revolution that  holds the promise of reducing the cost of establishing as well as  maintaining trust for both individuals and as well as for the  organizations to carry forward their transactions.
"Blockchain" is a  new term that refers to a specific type of computer database. Oxford defines the term blockchain as "a digital ledger in which transactions…are recorded chronologically and publicly". The source dates back to the year 2008 when the creator of the cryptocurrency "bitcoin" called its ledger a "blockchain", or a chain which consists of blocks of transactions.
Since then, there have been many upcoming competitive versions but most work on the same field:
   They are open-sourced
   Run 24x7
   Continuously update in real-time.
So the perfect reason that makes blockchain technology so unique and revolutionary is that it's not controlled by any single entity and  the ledgers are distributed among all parties who are involved in the transactions (also referred to as a "distributed ledger").
Distributed Ledger, means that no central party has ownership of the ledger, therefore no one can individually make changes or force any errors in the entries already on a blockchain.
This makes the blockchain an entrenched store of information.
Now coming to the question of how blockchain can actually build “TRUST”…….
Some distinguishing characteristics of blockchain:
1.Secure
2.Transparent
3.Peer to Peer Transfer
4. Encrypted and Pseudonymous
5. Instant Settlements
6. Easy accessible
7. Low cost

Blockchain and Customer Experience
So what pivotal role does Blockchain technology have with Customer Experiences?
The base or the foundations of customer experience are rooted in the trust that a customer places in a brand. An organisation should be true to its word, live up to its brand promises, provide the product or service as specified  in the schedule .
Study reveals the top four factors that negatively impact corporate reputation are:
•   Lying and misrepresenting facts about a product or service.
•   Illegal actions by corporate leaders
•   Data breaches
And so on….
As  the fundamental benefits of blockchain’s digital ledger technology are trust and transparency, logically this technique has enormous potential to transform customer experience.
Here are some reasons why it is transformative for Customer Retention and their experiences.
PEER TO PEER TRANSACTIONS
•   Blockchain enables peer to peer transactions without the need of a trusted central third party or intermediary, meaning brands can interact directly with customers and have greater level of influence over the customer journey.

USING CRYPTOGRAPHY
•   Implementing the technology of Cryptography increases the security and protection of data and identity, meaning customers can own and monetise their own data leading which will lead to a re-imagination of customer loyalty programs.
PROVIDING DATA
•   Data cannot be changed thus reducing fraud, increasing transparency, showing the existence of an asset, a claim about a brand, or company performance is indisputable. This could include NPS scores, customer retention rates and product defect rates.
REAL-TIME SETTLEMENTS
•    Real-time settlement means friction or obstacle in a transaction is eliminated and risk reduced. As more customers interact with blockchain applications, the number of customer expectations for an effortless experience will be raised.
IN SHORT
Trust is the base for any company to retain the customers and thereby build a platform to build its image in corporate field.
Organizations which have adopted and utilized blockchain technology would be transparent, not hiding behind any obscure contract terms and conditions, and build trust, by overhauling out-dated loyalty programs to build unique, traceable customer rewards. Blockchain is therefore a big deal for customer experience professionals enabling the organisations to build a hypothesis or a concept that create genuine value and would add long term loyalty for customers.

Transparency is what Blockchain is meant to provide, so the more data can you as a customer/investor can easily download/view, the more confidence you obtain in a certain ICO or crypto.

Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ?
by
SportaICO
on 12/06/2018, 15:26:47 UTC
I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

It is a nightmare for the government to some extent, but cryptocurrencies have captured the world. Gets difficult for authorities to control the use of them nowadays.

by

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?

Definitely, it will survive. Apart from Bitcoin, there are many more cryptocurrencies which are launched on the Blockchain.

Many more are planned to be launched in the nearly future.

Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations?

Frist China want to ban all the foreign exchanges in their country.
https://www.ccn.com/china-looks-ban-centralized-cryptocurrency-trading-reports/

then France Creates Working Group for Cryptocurrency Regulation
https://cointelegraph.com/news/just-one-person-found-to-have-caused-bitcoins-jump-from-150-to-1000-in-2013

then German Central Bank Director: Crypto Regulations Must Be International
https://cointelegraph.com/news/german-central-bank-director-crypto-regulations-must-be-international

Also India already setup a board for crypto regulation.

What is happening all over the world?Something whats soul purpose is to be decentralized will eventually be centralized?

How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

The question is not whether Bitcoin should be banned, but can it be banned?

Even tracking individual wallets is difficult, because a person can easily hide it with VPN, Tor, or move a wallet into a cold regime (offline).

Moreover, people involved in crypto world would protest against law regulations, as they are threatened to lose their investments.

Blockchain surely can succeed without Bitcoin. Actually, many people from finance world think that Bitcoin is useless but Blockchain itself and Ethereum are essential, as many new cryptocurrencies are issued nowadays.

Re: Why are people afraid to invest in cryptocurrency?
by
SportaICO
on 11/06/2018, 13:42:56 UTC
Some times I usually think of the reason people are afraid of investing in cryptocurrency, despite the its value and durability, cryptocurrency is a standards investment that will always give the investor the chance of becoming a millionaire due to its appreciative nature, people fail to understand the fact behind cryptocurrency investment, most times the people trying to invest may not have a maximum knowledge of cryptocurrency.

This statement makes sense because of the future possible law regulations imposed on cryptocurrency usage. No one knows how the government might react in the future.

Team seems to be experienced and professional, but why then advisory board is needed? Or am I just missing something

The number of each branch's members is balanced: 7 advisory board members vs 13 team members.
70% of Advisory board are involved in crypto, other 30% - engaged in related fields where crypto might be used (iGaming, gambling etc.).
So advisory board is needed, even though core team is experienced itself.
