Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 11/11/2018, 16:01:54 UTC
You should always study the company in which you want to invest and I think that it is best not to choose just one company for investment, and at least a few so that even in the worst case at least one company would give you a profit.
investing in one company or in one coin. or in one ICO is never preferred. if by chance that ICO or company failed. or that coin dropped. then you'll loose all your money. so always invest in 5, 6 coins or in ICOs. so yes you are totally right in this .. at this way we can lower the risk in investing crypto a lot.

Re: Is there still future for digital currency?
by

on 10/11/2018, 17:19:07 UTC
I think it's still there. because crypto is a technology that has very many advantages. so it's difficult to leave this technology if we already know it. but maybe in the future only a few altcoins will survive because they are needed by everyone.

not only a few. but only those who's developers are really serious and who complete the development of their project. those will survive only.. people will only adopt those projects which really have a working project. and also a useful working project. there are some freelancing projects coming. they may survive. as they have long term potential.

Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ?
by

on 23/10/2018, 18:50:31 UTC
ICOs won't necessarily end completely but the bad ones need to be gotten rid of. In the midst of many scams, there will always be few legit projects that has good intentions of developing a genuine project.

only 3 out of 100 maybe legit. rest all are scammers or just pump and dump projects. and the 3 projects which could be really legit are hidden in the middle of all these scammers. they are unable to reach to the investors because of all other ICOs are spamming everywhere. unless a project very highly funded and he spend a lot of money on marketing and promotions. then it may be successful.

Did Decred developers, or did the community pay for the listing fees? I heard that Binance makes a lot of profit from it because they are very expensive.

No one paid.
CZ tweeted that it was for our strong community  Cool
I really wonder how many decred he bought before this announcement.

yup. they've must have earned a huge profit from trading and selling their own part of coins. exchagne like a binance won't list any token for free . but if it does they'll see a huge profit in it. without that they won't do it.
anyway. they did it for free but it is a very huge thing for Decred also to get listed on Binance for Free.

Did they announce any specific dates how long the ICO will continue because there are many people supporting this project and recently they have released the beta version of their exchange which will help to launch the globally after the crowdsale?
if this information is not available in the website then it means they did not conduct any date of ICO end yet. maybe they want to continue it till the hardcap reach that is why they did not gave any specific date of that.
the beta release is definitely a good move from them. I hope it'll be another good exchange.

First islamic crypto exchange must have unique design, not similar with previous exchanges.
You can also add something islamic as well.

yes, it must. but as you can see their Exchange have nothing unique. infact they don't have any exchange they just used available plugins and tools and created an exchange which is no way unique and especially and literally has nothing Islamic in it.
I have to agree with most of the users here that it's just another scam project. they are using name of Islam to scam the muslim community.

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 14/10/2018, 17:20:37 UTC
crypto indeed gives us the ease of transacting with various people in various parts of the world. but to replace fiat, I think it's very difficult. although crypto can overcome some deficiencies of fiat, it doesn't mean that crypto doesn't have flaws. a real problem, how do you as a seller of goods determine the price of an item using the value of a very volatile crypto currency? it will be easier to determine the price of an item using fiat. nothing is perfect from a technological development.
you are absolutely right. I was thinking the same. Fiat has a stable value which helps us to determine the value of goods and properties. while crypto is very volatile. for example if we say a Mobile phone price is 1 Eth when the ETH value is $200 but if the Eth value suddenly drop to $100 or increase to $500 then it'll be hard for both seller and buyers. that is where we need Fiat.

Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 14/10/2018, 16:47:15 UTC
Yes, the best time may be now. Any coin may be a potential gain during times when bought at a lower price. Yet the prices of coins doesn't guarantee success and even the stable coins could just drop. So do investments with extra care and do more research about the coin to buy. Certainly you don't want to buy when others are still dumping slowly there coins.

but chose the coins wisely. don't just buy any shit coins/tokens.. specially ICO tokens. I would say never buy any ICO tokens.  most of them are pump and dump and only waste of time and money.
and if you still want to try an ICO then you need a lot of research and due diligence. so I advise you to try a top and established coin.

by

yes right, I go to this thread to see the development of news about Trade.io because I think this is a good project and the price of tokens is very cheap when compared to ICO prices.
apparently the team is only active in providing updates via Twitter and Facebook

Appears that way. When they first started they had bounty campaigns on bitcointalk, so you would think they believed in the benefits of promoting the project through here.
they got what they wanted from this community. now they have nothing to do with it.. this thread and this forum was only useful as long as the bounty program was active and their ICO was active. that time they needed investors and marketing which they got from from where. now they don't want such thing. so they are not giving any update here as bicointalk is not their priority anymore.

Re: Difficulties (ups and downs) faced in trading?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 16/09/2018, 15:45:52 UTC
Aside from actually trying to learn and study first before going in, I always suggest that new traders should always use only a very small percentage of their total trading stack(probably 5%, depending on how much the total stack is) to start their trading. As beginners, it's highly likely for them to lose money first as they learn. They should just increase the percentage as they get confident as time goes.
I do not even advise any new trader to use a little bit of their money or a certain percentage, which most of the time, they usually do not tend to learn much that way based on practicing what they are learning. They could still blow it all away and then eventually get to add more to their position to trade. The best is just to, at least use some of the sites that offer demo trading with free money to practice, get good at your strategy, utilize it for a very long period of time and gain enough confidence before even entering the real trading world.

Re: What happens if Satoshi dumps his coins?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 16/09/2018, 15:36:28 UTC
Since Satoshi owns 980,000 Bitcoins, what would happen if he suddenly sells his Bitcoins?

At the actual rate hic coins value is more than 6 billion dollar.

Two likely case will happen:

One, bitcoin will go to 0. It will be epic fall as people will panic and dump hard. Much worst than Mt. Gox or Silk Road combined.

Two: Miners will continue to mine, investors will see this as a perfect opportunity to scoop more because there's still millions of bitcoin waiting to be mine and their is still profits to be made.
It would indeed really be an epic fall but like you said, it would just be a very good opportunity to pick more of it as this is what real believers will do anyway. Both the possibility of it dropping to single digits might be huge. With a stage like this, I am sure a lot of people would even start losing interest in bitcoin and the crypto space. We all know how Charlie Lee dropping all his holding was perceived in the market for the holders of Litecoin, which is more like the captain bailing out from his own ship. That would be horrific.

Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 14/09/2018, 15:23:02 UTC
I play almost every time when I have some free tome and sit in front of the computer and usually it's going as much as the tournament and my participation in it, so 2-5 hours and in bad days less than that.
In fact after starting gambling online I have really increased my gambling activities. In past while visiting a casino was not so easy, for that you need to manage and find out time to visit a casino and play gambling. While using online casino it has become possible to play gambling at any time you want.

Lol online casino sites provide convenience in playing gambling games so that everyone is free to play gambling without even a
minimum age, so it's no wonder many players spend more time on gambling because they only need a laptop or even a cellphone to play
And that also balls down to the reason why a lot of addicts are increasing every day. For someone who is ready to face reality and not let gambling take over most of their precious time, which I believe someone who is always busy doing other things and only have very few minutes of his day to spend, will not end up spending more than necessary on gambling.
Even if it is for fun, there should always be limit, and I feel even 1 hour of gambling is a whole lot.

Re: How to make a profit with the dump of the price in the market?
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 14/09/2018, 15:13:23 UTC
There are many approach to making profits when the market is down,  you can hold half of your coin and sell the other half in occasional bounce of prices during bearish market. Averaging down on prices of your coin when it fall is another approach!
Holding multiple coins will not be the solution to the problem, but knowing which coin you want to be holding, when you want to be holding and for how long you want to be holding is what is important and from what I know, you cannot do all that without learning all that is necessary to know so as to trade effectively.
The best way is just to know your bearing in the market and act according to what you know and not what you feel. Trading is not gambling and without strategy, you will be in that position.

Re: Silver is loosing ground due to rise of cryptocurrencies
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 13/09/2018, 15:54:41 UTC
I do not think the correlation between silver and crypto is there. I mean silver can lose value in your country but increases insanely in my country, its all about supply and demand. For example USA may not buy silver like they used to however germany might see a sudden surge of interest in silver and prices will flactuate. In my country silver is biggest it has ever been in the history of silver prices.
However crypto has been in a steady decline, do I go out and say "people who lost money on crypto went after buying silver" ? No because I do not see the correlation there neither. I think they are different places from each other.

Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 12/09/2018, 10:49:57 UTC
not many, maybe 1/100,000 companies will do. mostly are crypto/IT related company. it still a long way to go for coffee shop pay salary in crypto.

Apparently, IT related companies will be on the front line of things when it comes to adopting cryptocurrency for payment before any other institution will start going the same way. It is a good thing though that this is something that is probably active, although it would have been good to know to what extent this is still going on presently in the company.
At least, they were still able to find a way around the whole fluctuation and for the fact that the exchange is willing to collaborate with them in protecting the interest of the staff, this still looks great. The advantages are there as well as the disadvantages, but in the long term, I see more advantage.

Re: What is best practice for gambling??
by
SpringfieldM1A
on 12/09/2018, 10:41:23 UTC
Gamble only with your free time and don't fall for your emotion, it will lead you to lose control as you win.
If you're going to gamble, do it for entertainment, not for profit.
Correct.
Gamble only for entertainment as if you are not expecting some wins but if you win then be thankful.
If you don't want to suffer, better to play this way, enjoying and entertaining yourself, considering that the amount that you will spare can be forgotten after, always think for positive side and if you win and you are already satisfied with fun that you've got also consider to quit and enjoy with some earnings that you've got that's an additional rewards.
I wonder where some people actually got the notion from that gambling can make them extremely rich and then forget the side where the losing sides are usually more than the winning sides.
As long as this mentality is not in check, people will keep falling into this trap and then before they could even realize it at all, they have gotten so addicted already. It is one thing to lose and accept your fate, and it is another thing to win and accept your luck without pushing it further, anything out of these categories is bound to flop, big time.
