In the meantime we have progressed a lot. Our current alpha build version is 0.2.9: https://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2382.0 and beta is approaching really quick. If everything goes well, official launch should be sometime at the end of October.

For me one of the altcoin section could overrun Bitcoin in a few years. Therefore I'm looking for that longterm investment which could beat Bitcoin.
At the moment I'm just holding NEM for longterm.
Maybe in a few weeks I will add some more like NXT, Nxtty, NODE or something else from this direction.

NEM cause they think they are creating some kind of revolution by releasing the 1,000th cryptocurrency in all history. Plus they genuinely think their distribution is fair and will change the global economy by selling to a couple of thousand people.

I just want to say that none of the devs are giving up on NEM and there is no reason that anyone else should, either!
