A Virus? You must be kidding, it's the official darkcoin miner which StacyCoin's algo uses. You don't seem to be a developer since you clearly didn't analyze the files and merely post senseless fud. Check Darkcoin thread for 100% same minerd files (same repo even).

Dear Herp, you are incorrect.  This coin has Stacy Herbert's approval and was launched without specific pre-announcement on purpose (requested).  This is to differentiate itself from MaxCoin as the elegant StacyCoin that has to be reached out for.

Introducing StacyCoin.

STACY launched without premine and without specific pre-announcement (announced 1h in advance) — this is to differentiate itself from the failed scum MaxCoin.  Launch was extremely smooth, the opposite of "MAX"!  

No MAX Clone: STACY uses a new chained hashing algorithm approach called Dark PoW which features eleven scientific hashing algorithms for its Proof of Work. ASICs can not work with this chained hashing method and would take many years to be successfully developed and built.
