Russian and Chinese population is about 85% of the worldwide population. So Bitcoin really has no use, if it get´s banned in the USA only about 0,5% of the population could use it. That´s really bad.

They can't afford a few satoshis?
Bitcoin looks like a total scam to them.. trust me, I recently visited Kenya and asked a few middle class locals over there on their thoughts on bitcoin. I sincerely doubt that bitcoin will take off in the developing world even though it is supposedly designed to help them.

Is Gox a safe place to trade if so, has anyone actually got their money from them when they withdrew?.
I am waiting for my verification to go through, its been about 2 weeks. Bastards will let you deposit coins, but wont let you take them out without verification. Is there anything i can do about this?

Use Coinbase. Far more reliable since it's backed by American venture capital.
Otherwise mtgox and btc-e seem like relatively reputable sites.
You realize that once you get your fiat into mtgox it's incredibly difficult to get it out, right? Basically you can buy bitcoin on mtgox easily, but selling is a pain in the ass.
