Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer
So stellar lumens is what of XRP?, I somewhat look at the chart on POLO and STR and Ripple is most likely the same, its just that now, STR dumps abruptly, what do you think guys is the reason?
ROI of 10months on the invested amount for mining seems not a good thing for me, I think self mining is more profitable on this one. Any future use of the coin instead of the dividends? Because honestly it looks like for Service not for Altcoin announcement.
I saw a lot of campaign on torcoin, and from now on I will watch this coin, I think the dev and the community is very active which is very good and very essential on the success of the project.

Bloomberg did an interview with the CEO. It was a reverse acquisition of a listed shell or something like that if I recall, but it is the first publicly listed bitcoin firm apparently.
The truth will probably be stranger than anything we can imagine right now. My guess is that the 311k coins that have been moving are still safely under trustee control. ...
Just blech. The whole thing continues to be irritating. I was a verified, trusted user, but exited last year. My holdings are safe, but I'm assuming my information is in a digital pile with everyone else, waiting to be sold to the highest bidder; all the while we have what looks like Mark moving close to 300,000 coins around after declaring bankruptcy.
If the final story culminates in Bitcoin Foundation involvement, shame on me I suppose.

Far more unsettling for MtGox users in general should be the fact that a large portion of blockchain has now been mapped directly to specific users (or can easily be), with ID scans, addresses etc. and full trading histories, balances, etc. The entire data dump was supposedly sold at least once - likely several times - for a paltry 100btc.
The Target card skimming scandal is nothing compared to this.

Very high probability the 111K is a gox controlled address. At least two gox deposits are confirmed to have been consolidated into this addr.

Re: What are the wise decisions made by Satoshi?

Satoshi recognized that replace-by-fee was a very bad idea (except where the inputs and outputs were unchanged).
Additionally, he understood that each node accepting the tx it sees first is a key concept in the distributed consensus mechanism:

There would need to be some changes on the Bitcoin Miner side also, to make the possibility to accept a double-spend into the transaction pool, but only strictly if the inputs and outputs match and the transaction fee is higher. Currently, double-spends are never accepted into the transaction pool, so every node bears witness to which transaction it saw first by working to put it into a block. ...
I can tell you that it is 1-hop from my Mt. Gox deposit address from 2011. Basically I deposited to Gox, and within few hours, deposit has been moved to this address and everything is still there. Could it be Mt Gox cold storage?
Looks increasingly likely that this was MtGox cold storage all along. It's being processed in a similar way as the 200k coins a few days ago.
The linkage with DPR may also be explained by a DPR deposit/withdrawal to MtGox? That could also explain why these funds were "unavailable" if there was some sort of SR-related investigation going on over at MtGox.
