Manchester United are just busy with maintaining possession and forgetting the reason why they came to play today. What a hopeless performance. No desire or urgency, hoping for individual brilliance. This is very depressing to watch. The problem is how the team is setup. The defensive shape is okay for defense and control but the attacking shape is worrying. Bruno can't be a false 9 in this team because he keeps going deep to get the ball, I wonder who told him that he must be at the center  of all the attack. The attacking shape is extremely poor, imbalanced and tuned for a minimum of loss. This season can't come to an end fast enough.

Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers

Group A looks interesting. Qatar has IMO around 50% chances of qualifying to the next round. Netherlands in all probability will finish on top, but there is going to be fierce competition from Qatar, Senegal and Ecuador for the second position. I am more inclined towards Ecuador, since CONMEBOL teams are the best in football. Senegal on the other hand is famous for upsets, although their form has gone down recently. Qatar needs at least one win and a draw to progress to second round and it will be easier for them to defeat Senegal than Ecuador.

I think those who will advance to the next round in Group A are the Netherlands as group winners and Senegal as second place in Group A. because Senegal is also a team of proven quality, they have just won the African champions, what Senegally needs to know is as the first position in the FIFA ranking list for the African region.
The star from Liverpool also comes from Senegal, namely Sadio Mane. Everyone knows the quality of Mane.
Obviously Netherland must top the group. The second place comes between Ecuador and Senegal. I think Senegal and Cameroon appear to be in fair groups to advance in the last of 16. With Senegal, I haven't heard of Qatar so much with football despite them being the host nation. Ecuador cannot bring anything extraordinary against Senegal, except for Netherlands in group (A). But one thing is for sure, there is always one shocker in every group stage. Who you’ll expect won't come out. Doesn't matter who meets who, depends on the motives of going to Qatar. Most of the teams are going just to represent, while others are hungry for the trophy.

Manchester United are no longer playing in the Champions League, so they need to focus on the EPL... They should beat Leicester City in their next game! But the stats so far are not in Man U's favour because they couldn't beat Leicester for 4 games in a row... I wonder if the situation will change tomorrow, but Man U really need to pick up points! I think a good bet here is that both teams will score at odds of 1.7...

Leicester City are doing better in performance than Manchester United,  I know Manchester are trying to come out from their poor performance but I still doubt if they can defeat Leicester City. Leicester are performing better for sometime now, if I should compare the both teams I think Leicester have more chances to win Manchester United. Leicester City are more consistent in good performance.
Honestly I do not think that their presence in the UEFA champions league was the reason why they have been off form. Manchester united were expected to mount a genuine Premier League title charge this season following an impressive summer recruitment drive, which concluded with Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the club, but have fallen well short. Now they face Leicester city, a side that have been trying to improve their performance as of recent. They have only lost one game from their last four, which was against Arsenal. They are currently in 10th position with two games in hand. Maybe they have a plan to make the Europa league spot.

My biggest concern about SouthGate’s choice of midfielders he’s to deploy today. Philips and Rice aren’t the best match for the Italian trio.

The Italian midfield is more experienced than the three Lions. Jorginhno’s ability to dictate the tempo of the game is something the English side doesn’t have.

This Italy side can do it all, combining the defensive savvy they are famed for, along with a willingness to take the ball, dominate the game and get forward.
I think Henderson needs to step in today to spice up the midfield.

Successful people fail a lot "

Its never easy to achieve success without going past seamlessly insurmountable huddles, but remember they are on your path to the final victory.

Just like you have the group stage, disqualification stage and the final stage in football...same goes to our path of victory!!

So toughen up after each failed attempt, get acquainted with the right tactics and systems and when you fail at one, try again today, tomorrow, the day after until your desired goal is met.

N/B: Never get tired of failing until you're successful.

To a Great week.

I believe there’re rapid solutions to problems, and Gamblers always want chances to improve their luck. I’ve seen some ethical gamblers some superstitious medal around their neck or carry one in a mojo bag to keep their powers close when gambling or lighting candles and reciting some prayers.

Before the goal was scored, the game was more like chess - a very deep defense and overlapping of all zones, so most of the attacks were positional. I think the game will change after the break - Santos must make some adjustments so that the Portuguese national team has a chance to recoup.
What kind of adjustment? The game is still early and Portugal has created more chances than the Belgians. If they keep creating more chances, goals will start pouring. The midfielders have been creative.

Happy to see Santos has dropped Fernandes today again. Trying to accommodate him reshapes the team and they tend to suffer defensively. He’s presence makes them play two holding midfielders and since the wingers don’t help their fullbacks, their opponent’s fullbacks have the freedom to go on and off around the edges.

If Portugal holding midfielders tries to come to the wings, the opponents returns and try going in thru the midfield, making them stretch too much.
This 3-man midfield is the best for them and it guilds the team since Ronaldo and Bernardo doesn’t drop back to help the fullbacks cover up when the overlap.

The Orange has gone home to eat Orange. Funny how they came out top of the group with 9 points and got eliminated by the best loser in a group. This football thing is a whole mystery.

Czechia can beat the Netherlands if they can take the Match evenly. Italy was almost eliminated by Austria last night. Two goals scored in extra time allowed Italy to advance to the next round. If Arnautovic's goal had not been cancelled, we would not have seen the favorites of Italy today.Czechia will try every way to win against the Netherlands.

Czech Republic was unimpressive in their group matches and you think that they will be able to beat one of the strongest teams in this competition?
This is Euro 2020 and there is a possibility that all teams participating in this tournament will eliminate each other. As I said, yesterday Austria nearly eliminated Italy. If Czechia plays in a controlled manner today, why not eliminate the Netherlands? Football has every score. Who gave a chance to Euro 2004 champion Greece when they started that year?

Whatever we predict here is only based on data and statistics of course accuracy is not guaranteed  we only see the performance of each team in the previous match. I agree anything can happen in football , even though the chance of winning is only 1%, it's still a chance.
Definitely the team which can score more than a goal will always have the upper hand. Netherland can do that easily against the Czechs. Netherland to win by 3:1

I don't think you can still be a responsible gambler even though you lose too much money on gambling.

The way I see it, you can be a responsible gambler only if you don't lose more than you can afford to. Losing too much money means you are pretty addicted to gambling. There is no way I can view this as being responsible. It sounds more like an excuse.

If you are losing money regularly, then you should not be gambling in the first place. But you need to analyze your condition after a while. The house advantage is usually 1% or 2% depending on the casino. So if you are playing a game with 50% chance of win, you should at least win 4 out of 10 games. If it is like 1 out of 10, it is time to take a break and admit that it is not your lucky day. If this can't be done easily, then another way to follow it is not to carry too much cash to the casino. Take only limited amount of cash and don't take your credit card along. Once the money is finished, you won't be able to gamble again.

Most of us are losing money in gambling but we don't really count it as we don't treat gambling as a business, it's entertainment for most of us, so what we lose is our expenses to enjoy gambling. We will only feel it if our approach to gambling is already serious, and we will be in trouble because we will be putting in a huge amount of money just to gamble.

@mindrust  is correction, we should only gamble based on our limit, if we go beyond, it's not fun anymore.
An addictive gambler who doesn’t want to totally quit gambling can choose the option of controlled gambling.
It’s only when gambling gets out of control that it starts to cause problems on people’s lives.

I like this Italy's team, I think Mancini is really making the most of it. Keeping Chiesa on the bench is a good strategy as well, he's most dangerous when playing against already tired defense. That goal yesterday was pure class.
I think Mancini masterclass won Italy the game, those changes were well-timed at the right moment of the game, they needed someone to cause troubles on the right flank and Chiesa was all thy needed to break the deadlock. Kudos to Austria they gave us an entertaining game I never expected such from them, they could've caused one if the worse upset last night of not for the cancelled goal.

IDK, if you have a player like Chiesa with the talent he has why wait until extra time? why
not 10, 20 minutes into the second half when its clear Austria were imposing themselves
on the game?

....that way we would all have our bets realised.

Fair play to Austria indeed but they lacked that finishing touch in the final 1/4 of the pitch
for a lot of chances they had.

Now I wish I were betting on outrights (as in qualification regardless of ET or penalty shootout). Have a feeling now we'll get more matches like Italy where everyone's too careful and we get draws then the class finishes off the weaker team in Extra Time or penalties. Favs should still go through I guess.

Portugal-Belgium is SO tough, you have stars in both. BTTS maybe?
snip

The match between belgium vs portugal will be an opportunity for Ronaldo and Lukaku to prove who is the sharpest striker this year, although currently Ronaldo is the temporary top scorer, but in my opinion, Lukaku has a chance to beat him and of course in today match, Lukaku should score as many goals as possible,

There is also Wijnaldum of The Netherlands on 3 goals too, so he is one to watch today.
You think it’s gone be an easy match between the Orange and Czech??
I know the Netherlands are good at pouring goals. They’ve a very good midfield and it’s an advantage to them. I’d definitely like to see the Czechs progress to the Quarter finals.

Ronaldo with 5 goals, but I kind of dislike the fact that he scores so many penalties all the time. It feels like it distorts the true top scorer list. He has always been scoring a good chunk of his goals per season with penalties. I am not sure but I think there was a time when penalties didn't count to the overall total, am I wrong?

It is indeed a fact that some goals are scored on penalties but it can't be denied it's still a goal every country can do the same so there's nothing strange there it's normal unless only Portugal can get a goal from a penalty that might be weird.
Penalties requires composure, powerful shooting and ability to deception. Last time I checked Penalty has been part of the game. Manchester United lost the Europa league tittle on penalties shoot-outs.
Let me bring to your awareness that Meesi in total has missed four of the 19 penalties he's taken in the blue and white, In total he's taken 107 penalties, scoring 82 and missing 25. A success rate of just 76.6%, well below Ronaldo.

My regards goes out to this Hungary Team, They weren’t given a chance in this group of death against Germany, Portugal and France.

They got two points and were in actual winning positions more than any other team in the group  (92 minutes) across 3 Games  👏🏽

Supposedly, in terms of strength of players and league experience, i think Netherlands team is much better than North Macedonia. Maybe, in this match Netherlands managed to keep a clean sheet. My predictions, Netherlands will win at least with a score of 2-0. In this match, De Jong and Depay maybe he will be at starting eleven team, with wijnaldum on the middle, Netherlands should be win.
It’s an easy win for the Netherlands. Depay is on the score sheet, inspired with his big dream move to Barcelona. I expected him to score today. He’s been having nice games in this Euros. More goals to come in the second half.

Germany is determined to win! The Portuguese were lucky with a counterattack... I think the second half will be even more interesting than the first one! I wish I had time to bet on Germany to win with the score 1-0... The odds were 4.3... It was a gift!
The wings are Portugal's biggest undoings.
The need to cover the wings, that’s Germany's tool.

Hungary 1 - 0 France. The goal was scored just before the end of the first half. Tooooo many opportunities missed by France, Benzema one would be an awesome goal after a cool pass from Mbappe, but mehh, Hungary made the surprise.
I think France will get its revenge in the second half.
Hungary is hungrier and that is why they could not spill the chance to fees when they saw it. France is overfed that's why they can afford to throw away chances.

My predictions would be another 3-0 for France in their match against Hungary.
Portugal is unstoppable when they are in form as they are in today against Germany coming off of a 2-0 win, with Ronaldo pocketing in very late goals in their last match.
Expect many goals today in the final of round 2 matches today! Wink
Hungary is hoping on playing a counter attacking football with a good defense. France have been dominating for sure, just missing keys chances. France need to continue with this pressure to weaken them and their defensive tactics and expect some goals in the second half.

England is favorite to get three points tonight but Croatia is super power with Luca Modric as midfielder and give more for his country, Harry Kane will be most danger player for Croatia defender because coming to EURO as england primer league top scorer and always can get any chance to make goal, still wait will Raheem Sterling become starter for England or not.
Raheem starts over Grealish. I don’t want to criticize Southgate’s decision to leave out Grealish over Sterling, despite the Aston Villa captain's impressive displays in the warm-up fixtures.
