Just sent 5 of my friends 1000 bits. 2 of them got excited and downloaded a PC wallet and are now researching Bitcoin. I think in the next few days/weeks buyers will be coming in (takes days to setup coinbase) watch the value go up. Who ever sold recently ... ouch

The hash rate blows my mind at 275,000,000 GH/s. Litecoin's hash rate is at just under 1,000,000 MH/s equaling roughly 1/275,000 of the bitcoin hash rate. Why is the price discrepancy not greater? Wouldn't it be more profitable to mine LTC and trade it for bitcoin? What am I missing here?
Comparing the hashrate of SHA256 and Scrypt is pointless. You need to compare the cost of generating the hashrate.
1,000,000 MH/s for Litecoin is basically like the 1 Petahash milestone for bitcoin.

Wowsers. Too bad I missed the PPC train. Haven't wanted to touch any of the BTC-E alts in quite a while.... they all seemed dead. I suppose this was bound to happen at some point.
This coin barely moved. But when it does...
i am in NMC since 1,5 years because i like the technology. Think it will be pumped soon too by fat fingered btc-e wahles
NMC is solid , not going anywhere super cheap right now. I put it at $20 during the next BTC bubble pump

It appears the heavy hitters are pulling out of BTC and going into Alts such as PPC and NMC and others as of late...
So they exchange BTC for FIAT and buy alts?I don't think so.
There are not many alts for sale in fiat.
Most of them can be bought for BTC or LTC
Nope they are selling BTC for PPC and NMC right now. USB/BTC arb bots are doing the rest...
i still can't believe it took them this long to start accepting bitcoin.. they probably lost out on a lot of money for making such a dumb decision when bitpay and coinbase have been around to mitigate any sort of risk for them.
