I can tell you that I know where you have been in. I am gambling free for 3 months and still in bitcoin in many ways. I can only tell you from experience that gambling is not for everyone and it's not for me. I played for 3 years and you are lucky that it was only 1btc+ that you lost. I took off all my podcasts, my poker forums, dissassociated with poker community, took out all my bookmarks and deleted all my gambling and anything related.
Get another hobby. I chose running for me. I have lost 25 pounds in 6 months and am so happy with myself. Just hitting the pavement for me is just plain fun for me and I win every single time. No loss in that. It is a +EV move in life is what I gain. Nothing else like it.
Find another community that you can get involved with that deals with bitcoin.
