by

Hello,

what do you think after today flash crash of BTC from 12300 to 11600. Will it get back on bull trend and get over 12k again or will it slowly fall back to 10k?

I am really tired of these crashes. It is not first time I went from profit to huge minus just in few minutes. I cant understand how this can happen.

Please explain me this pattern on graph

Hello,

I am trading btc on bitstamp. If you check the 1minute graph or 5 days graph (image below) you can see that the increase of price is always in few seconds / minutes. Price is oscillating some time and then suddanly rush up or down in 3/4 large green/red candles and then again oscillating on this level until new rush/fall will come. Do you know why this happen? is it because in that moment someone buy/sell larger amount of BTC. It is really not very practical, as if I do not catch this rush up I miss a chance of good buy.

It is back above 10 000 usd, it seems the support at 9800 usd is really strong. I sold also yesterday but I am worried that it can rise back to hights anytime and I will be out of BTC. This is really a tough game Smiley

Facebook Libra (or Globalcoin)

Hello guys,

could you please help me to better understand Facebook coming coin project?
I am interested in these topics.

1. Libra and Globalcoin is just the different name for the same Facebook coin?
2. Now on 18th of June Facebook want to reveal the Libra (Globalcoin) project, but the coins will not be in sale? The lunch/sale is planned for the beginning of 2020?
3. Do you know how it will be possible to buy Facebook coins? Will this coin be listed on marketplaces like Bitstamp, Kraken ... or will it be possible just via Facebook apps?
4. Will the price be somehow regulated by Facebook or will it be fully open as other cryptocurrencies?

thanks

Bitcoin stimulus 2019
by
Stilicho
on 22/01/2019, 08:17:17 UTC
Hello guys,

those who are more informed in this crypto world, can you write here some Bitcoin stimulus, which we can wait in 2019, to help the price recover?

Finally, first I thought that this fall of BTC price started in middle november 2018 was just a whales manipulation, to get better buing price for the next year, but now it seems that the price is really down as it does not have power to do any up movement. And without stimulus it will probably not move.

thanks

How to recognize correct trading signals?
by
Stilicho

Hi all,

Do you have any strategy how to recognize signals when market changes from bear to bull? I earned now some extra btc coins by selling on higher price and  buying at lower. But i am weak to see when market is changing to grow. Usually i buy in not correct time and after while positive grow is turned back to fall. But how to know when the signal for grow is the correct one? I tried to use indicators but there is huge number of false signals and this did not help me anyway.

Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all.

Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.
You need to be patient if you want to recover your losses if you sold it for today's price  you are losing huge amount of your investment I also bought Bitcoin when it was at 8k$ and until now I'm holding it and if it bottom further I'm planning to buy more to lower my buying average.

I am in the same situation as you. Bought at 7,5K. I am trying to trade on the fall, I sold after breaking the 4K border and bought again at 3,3K eur. This way I am trying to decrease my buying average. Now I sold some BTC when crossing 3000 eur. This is really tough to predict what will happen. But I can not just hold and pray for turn.

Re: $ 3400 is the lowest bottom?

Guys, we have now a really tough time. Last time falling over 4000 eur, I had alarm clock every 1 hour in the night not to miss fall over this defense line, as then it usually goes quickly down. And the fall came on my way to work... I made the quickest run to my office and sold at 3900 eur before fall to 3500 eur and further down. I bought again at 3300 eur. I thought it will never cross 3000 eur border. But this night I had alarm clock the same way all night and 3 a.m. BUM, 2950 eur. It is so obvious how the bear traders are pressing down the price. Right now it is even not possible to imagine how this can be stopped. I am afraid that the bears are pushing very much and can finally destroy market, normal people, who bought crypto as investment, are usually not speculants and they will loose faith very quickly. Under 3000 usd it will be dramatic.

Re: Can someone manipulate the price of bitcoin?
by
Stilicho
on 05/12/2018, 11:53:04 UTC
Please correct me if I am wrong but I think price can be manipulated, maybe for short time, but can be. I read about these telegram groups which dictate members what to do during agreed time on market. And you can see very often traders putting absolutly iracional lower and lower offers, even the market has positive growing trend. People are easy manipulated, if they see a lower and lower offers, they usually start cooperate and start putting their offers also lower and lower. Maybe I am already paranoid  Tongue but on my marketplace I see now every small grow to 3600 eur, to be pushed back by a huge amount of very low offers, which allways appear from one trader in a seconds (using bot) and you can be sure that in 30min is price back to 3390-3400 eur. I think it is easy to manipulate price down. I can not imagine how to manipulate direction up.
But maybe I am wrong and it is just coincidence. But if such a traders operate on each marketplace....I think it is possible to move the price down.

Exactly, these are my thoughts as well. I wrote on bitcoin.de support and they replied me in few hours that they do not see any price manipulation and using a bot is not illegal.

What is this seller doing?
by
Stilicho
on 26/11/2018, 13:50:56 UTC
Hello guys,

I would like to know your opinion. I am using bitcoin.de as marketplace. I noticed this seller first time few days before the big crash. He was there all day, all night, putting always 40 offers with volume 0.05 btc. In this way he is blocking the first pages of offers. See the picture. And other people to be able to sell their BTC need to go down with price, to get infront of him. And then this seller, just move his 40 offers in front of them and so on all days.
what is he finally doing? Is this normal? I do not see any normal reason to sell 2 BTC in 40 offers by 0.05 btc.
