Greetings This is the Official EthereumDARK[ETHD] Thread. Stay tuned for all of our latest news regarding development, market price and more!

Scrypt and General Info:
Ethereum Dark is a simple PoW/PoS coin (mainly PoS), no ICO so everybody gets a fair chance from the start. In general, our aim is to have profitable, secure and anonymous trading. The development team will retain some of the supply to ensure the blockchain works smoothly, once everything is up and running we will decide with the community what to do with those coins, you can read about our ideas in the roadmap section below and make sure to comment any suggestions that you would like us to consider! We hope you are looking forward to participating!

ROADMAP

Our vision converges around certain key aspects that have made many altcoins successful and more importantly profitable to investors:   A scalable user-friendly platform that can easily be adopted in mass. We are constantly updating our roadmap since we are always looking for the best way to adapt to changing conditions. Here?s what we have planned for the future:

★ Initial release of the coin into the market, this will include a secure multiplatform compatible wallet that will allow you to trade the coin on multiple exchanges
★ Bounty reward system: we are actively working on a bounty reward system for those who help us reach more people and help our blockchain
★ Release wallet and blockchain explorer for Windows, Linux and macOS
★ Working on creating our subreddit at the moment we will let you know once it is up and running
★ Integration of smart contracts, this is a priority for us since if-then conditions have become one of the most sought after features after anonymity and active scaling
★ Integration of cross chain swapping, this is an experimental feature on many altcoins. This feature will allow trading on multiple block chains without going through an intermediary such as shapeshift. We think that it is invaluable and are working around the clock for its implementation
★ Finally, a decentralized payments system that will be involving physical merchants, online point-of-sale and user-to-user transfers.

Is a very sad situation, I read those post you did on their thread and people ignore what you posted and people ignore your post because of the greed. You're doing a pretty good job alerting people, but people are only going to convince themselves if it's a coup if you post very convincing evidence like non-existent team members, the past scams done by that Dev... I noticed that they did not post data about the team, this could be a good start for you to investigate.

I have provided evidence

It's still weak evidence. If I was interested in this project, I would give up as soon as I saw your post, but the greedy people do not give up because of this proof that you posted.

There is no history on the team or anything else, i am just glad that topic is now removed. ICO's are bad if you don't do your own research but easy scams like these if founded should get noticed and be deleted. Scams like these hurt the community and the site.

Do we need more BTC forks?
by
Str1x
on 05/12/2017, 08:21:00 UTC
Seriously, if we just look at how many hardforks bitcoin will get this month. Will that have a positive or negative impact on bitcoin?

I can imagine, now that bitcoin becomes more and more mainstream, that more forks will follow next year. However does a negative hardfork impact bitcoin in the future?

Intresting news on twitter : From EMC2 team:

"Even though it is not excluded that we might work with Apple in the future, the big news is not about the contract at this time. It is something more important for Einsteinium @einsteiniumcoin"

Great  Wink

I think it's a partnership with NASA just look at how they are retweeting everything from NASA since yesterday just after stating it is not a deal with apple.

Hello everyone!

I wonder what's your speculation regarding the BLUE token? Two of my crypto friends in our "local chatroom" have bought Blue tokens recently, and they're going nuts about it.

As I have checked Blue, they're now trading at $0.58 with an impressive 162.85% gain and $535,051 trading volume over the last 24 hours.

What do you guys think about this? Will it fly like the others?

I read about it and saw it being called out by pump groups, so i think this gain is only temporary. I don't expect further gains, but if you like the project, you should investigate and invest.

In my first account @jameseversmile I made a mistake while I was still a newbie but got banned  by a moderator and not even a temporary ban.

What you did is not related to a forum rank. You as a person make a decision to do something. You can't say well i was newbie so forgive me. If you would kill someone, would you say to a judge yeah but then i was a minor so don't send me to jail.....

they waited till I became a member before they strike. (my point wasn't considered valid).

That's a point everyone is bringing down. Do you really think mods have a watchlist of people they bann till they reach rank x? People are getting banned the moment they are spotted. If you weren't spotted when you were a newbie you are lucky. But if you're a member and get spotted well that's your problem.

This place may not be for me. Not everyone is here because of bounties. It was my love for bitcoin that brought me here.

For someone with a love for bitcoin instead of bounties, your overall post quality is well.... bad. Contains full of  1 sentences replies. So i get now why you were copy pasting. It's a fact so don't get offended by it.

Did you read the whole post or are you only correcting my mistake... If that topic is active you get a sub forum, but if you look there it's not very active. So when it's active you will get a finish board as stated by hilariousandco, quoted in my post

I was pointin out that it's not a board. So is he saying that Finnish anns/threads are forbidden everywhere in bitcointalk for the time being?

No it was a reply to another user who wanted a pakistanian sub board, however he said that if you would like to have a sub board the topic in other languages should be active enough for mods to consider making a sub board.

not much activity in the forum regarding it.. but it was an obvius succes investing here.. one month ago at 0,06$ , now 0,5$... and seems unstoppable.. disrupting right now in bittrex.. 100% UP

There is enough of activity, you know there is an ann thread right with daily posts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=494708.7960

I agree EMC2 has been my best investment ever with a ROI of 500%. But this is still not the max, it will keep rising till december the 9th.

Could there please be a Finnish local board since Finnish announcements are getting deleted from "other languages"
and Rules in Skandinavisk say that:

Quote
The reason that we use the strictest definition of Scandinavia and don't allow posts in Finnish or Icelandic is that we want all posts to be understandable by everyone

Read this reply from hilariousandco

You have a local thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=232519.0

But it's not that active at all so I don't think an entire board is necessary just yet. If you want your own sub board then start being active and promote the thread to people you know. Sadly, local boards are prime for abuse and because of the lax moderation they're usually more hassle than they're worth and are quickly abused by sig spammers and farmers in a multitude of ways once they realise they can get away with this.

So maybe you can make a finnish topic in the other languages sub forum, if it gets enough replies/posts mods will eventually make it a local board.

Isn't this your finnish board? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7319.0

Hello,

I want to know why my Rank still Newbie Member.
I have registered it, 5 weeks ago.

Are there any rules changed?

I signed up earlier than this member (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232531),
That member has reached Jr. Member.
But, My account still Newbie Member.

Best Regards,

Please refer to this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2459391.msg25190698#msg25190698

If you registrered 5 weeks ago, that is 2 14 days period = 28 activity points, so nothing has changed
+
Your first post was on november the 20th, that was still in the 14 day period (2nd 14 day period started at 21 november), that other user posted in 3 14 day period, that's the difference

Read this and check the link if you wanna know when activity is going to be updated

right. the question that pops out at least once every two weeks.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1324892580
use that in the future. afaik it's very accurate (the timezone is editable).

sorry for the noob question, and maybe this isnt the right place to ask but...  can anyone please explain to me how this coin made it up to almost 8000 satoshi and it got driven back down to the neighborhood of 4000.

Volume mate, if on the buy side there are less people than on the sell side, you will lose the gain. Now price is stable around the 5k mark. But it has today top volume and biggest gain on bittrex so a lot of people will see that and hopefully will increase the volume today.

last week I started to follow einsteinium. I thougth that I can be raise quickly but its raising suprised me. I think it can be multiple easily anymore. I trust their team and their background. What do you think that it  what will be higher price?

Someone here said price could go up to 15k, but i didn't believe him, thought maximum price would be around the ath of couple months ago around 3k. This break has me thinking that 15k is plausible. Let us first reach 10k, than 15k is easy to get. Einsteinium did a good job, announce coin burn, update roadmap. Great things are ahead for both long and short term holders.

what if you post 70 posts in 14 days period, what ll be your activities number?

Like i said, 14 is the maximum you can get in every 14 day period, even if you have posted 70 times in 1 14 day period. you still get 14 points

If you click on top of your post, that blue message "How do I copy link to my comment on threads?" you can see in your browser that the URL has changed.

Re: IP addresses in Bitcointalk - Addressed to the MODS & Admins
by
Str1x
on 25/11/2017, 13:40:10 UTC
IP address is only for governments I think. It works for them to catch you in case of lawless things Tongue

If you took 1 min to read the post above yours, you would know that claim is nonsense. An IP address doesn't have to be linked to the real user/scammer/hacker. You can use TOR/VPN to mask yourself. Even though some VPN providers have logs, so it can lead back to the user, however there are still VPN providers that don't store logs. Than you have the use of public WIFI (for example burgerking wifi) this will lead to nothing.... Than you have the possibility to RAT a victim, use his IP and do whatever you want.

You can leak the ip address of scammers, however for every perma-ban an IP address gets evil points. I don't know the exact calculation, but after x evil points the IP addres is blacklisted and can only get whitelisted after paying a donation in BTC.

Couple of methods:
- Translating ann threads in foreign languages
- participating in twitter/blog/signature campaigns
- Doing faucets (however read the warnings first)
- Selling stuff or services on the marketplace
- Gambling

Just take a look at the marketplace, there should be more methods than i stated above. You can always learn how to analyze charts and do some daytrading on the exchanges.
