Re: [WTS] 62 TH/s of HF ASICS - Hosted, Mining & Ready for Immediate Sale

At $0.40 per GH/s there is value in bypassing any sort of pre-order, or batched hardware.  The hardware is fully operational now and ownership can be switched over immediately once a deal is made (levied until payment has cleared).  Obtaining a mine of this scale with no delay in delivery and full management of the hardware can be a difficult process in today's market.

The cost of shipping and breaking down the unit is variable.  If the unit can be moved while still mounted versus us having to fully palletize everything there will be a variance in cost.

Just as a general rule; websites or offers that give things for "free" tend to not work out too well for investors in the long run.

Use an IP Scanner and set a large range on your network.  Should be able to locate the renegade IP this way if its on your network.

Re: HashFast converts large Batch 2 order to chips

Greetings, I am long time friends and business partners with Dalkore; we've started www.bitcoinasichosting.com.  We started this business during our first groupbuy of the Avalon Batch 3s and have strived provide excellent service for our clients ever since.  We've learned that mining conditions and adequate power to matter over everything.

We have many clients who have invested in Hashfast and updated us on their positions.  Understanding the delays naturally we were skeptical when approached by Hashfast directly.

The bottom line is that getting support documentation and testing figures for these units from an external source (us) will be beneficial for the mining community as a whole.

Re: Terraminer IV already has one dead board (CTA / core)
by
StringTheory

Heat issues are most likely curbing your units output.  When in a residential setting (open windows as cooling method) these units tend to stay around 1.2-1.3TH, dropping occasionally to 400GH/s to let internal temperature drop.  One of our client's units has the same problem as yours though, 1 core dead, we recently have just RMA'd the unit and should be getting a new one this week.

In our temperature controlled hosting facility running at 74 degrees F, with 30% humidity our Terraminer IV's are steady at 1.75TH/s.

Several? Your going to have issues, A single CT needs 2 separate 15A 120v breakers to function, unless you have spare 20/30A breakers for stove/dryer etc.

I thought this is gonna happen, I hope i do not have to convince my friends to babysit the miners.
Do you think it would be very difficult /expensive to install the right breakers ? Obviously done by an "electricity expert".

Hey Hiroaki, I'm Dalkore's business partner and another owner at www.bitcoinasichosting.com

Something I need to stress is making sure you calculate the total cost of everything required to do an electrical upgrade to a residential unit.  Permitting, wiring, paneling, and installation of A/C are the things that come immediately to mind.  Also, unless you are the owner of the house, doing extensive power upgrades that will be left at the house might be something to consider.  Last thing is simply the noise and the heat.  These Cointerras are LOUD, expect to hear one from 2-3 rooms away in a residential setting.

Hope you find the best solution for your mining needs!

PS. Don't run 3 or more in a small house unless you love nonstop Dubstep   Tongue

Don't have any pictures on me currently, but the fans were the same throughout all of my Batch 2 units.  I did end up swapping out the fans for aftermarket ones before moving them into colocation.

Are you sure they are using linear order patterns?  I know BFL, Avalon etc. did not.  Your order # might not mean you are 8,000 in line.

Re: hashrate unexpectedly drops! damaged hash units?
by

What is the ambient temperature of your unit?  I was only getting around 85 GH/s out of my batch 4 Avalons until we moved them to our colocation center (72 degrees F) and now they are hashing stable at 115 GH/s.

We operate a Bitcoin ASIC Hosting center (www.bitcoinasichosting.com) if you are interested.  We have not experienced any drop in our performance.

Re: ASIC Miners Hosting Options in London/UK
by

on 13/08/2013, 21:48:04 UTC
Hello, I am currently managing a hosting location for Bitcoin mining rigs in the US.  Most importantly is going to be power and your cooling.  A standard office building will not likely be able to handle the power load or amount of cooling you are going to need.  We are hosting Avalons currently and we have had to spend quite a bit of money on unit upgrades in order to provide the necessary amperage and several tons of cooling.

You also need to look at the cost of electricity.  These ASICs eat up quite a bit.
