If you have been recently active you may have been confused about an official looking stake email in your inbox regarding VIP rewards.
The email was sent by a rogue individual who managed to get temporary access to Stake's Sendgrid account. We are continuing to investigate with Sendgrid how 2FA was bypassed and access was obtained but we will share what we know in the meanwhile.
- There's a chance that a group of Stake users who were recently active may have their Email address available to this individual. Please note that there is no other associated information linked to these Email addresses. It would be simply a raw Email, unlinked to even a username or any form of identity. As a result we deem this to be a minimal risk threat.
- No user funds, passwords, KYC, or Stake accounts were effected. The phishing website was taken down within minutes and as a result no damage was incurred We are very lucky we have quick notifications around this & a great relationship with hosting companies.

I have somewhat the same issue though with my local crypto wallet that asked my source of funds, they don't accept earnings from online employment agreement which they prefer to look into a salary record with my IDs on it. Maybe they are just complying what government told them. I uninstalled that wallet after it.

Welcome to yet another seeding event. This time for our social US based version of Stake. Once again props to Rhavar for the method. Few hundred thousand blocks have passed since we last posted one of these 
To prove our fairness we have generated a chain of 10,000,000 SHA256 hashes where each hash is the hash of the hexadecimal representation of the previous hash. The last hash in the chain is:

Basically we are using the hash of a future bitcoin block as a client seed so players can be certain that we did not pick one in the house's favor. I feel that this requirement is justified as people now can’t game Stake, and they’ll have to verify themselves when Drake calls. Furthermore this is also a unique experience for the winners, because not only do they get the money but a call with Drake himself and I’m actually surprised here that he’ll call but then that’s Stake they love surprising their user’s.
I don't really see what is surprising here, you're a fan of this singer Juggy777 ? The stream was literally boring as hell, and I fell asleep during it like many other viewers from what I've heard. So if he doesn't even call the "blessed" winners there is absolutely no point in watching that. It seems the stuff lasted one hour and a half but I really thought it was several hours actually.

He ended down $6m or so last session. Explain to me what makes this "obviously fake". Drake deposited his own funds last stream and is an avid stake player.

When you sign up for Stake you agree to a series of terms and conditions, these conditions are broad but are put in place to prevent abuse. Every betting account is given their own limits, when your limits were reduced you started making additional accounts and providing false documents not belonging to you in an attempt to defraud us. You even went on Stake chat and made offers to buy accounts that had limits over $10k on specific sports. None of this was recreational action, you amassed at minimum 15 accounts and used these to profit significantly off your "value bets" which you also offered to sell to other chatters.
Primarily having access to a faster feed on the french open and cashing out at points of value right before an odd swing was a great strategy for you . When placing that same bet across 15 account you were able to make these "value bets" very profitable as it was a positive expected value initiative for you, you even offered to sell these bets given how confident you were in them. We have a right to refuse action from players like you which we did, you were able to get your money out on your initial accounts. Then you continued to buy and make accounts and we continued to limit but you kept buying or farming more accounts. On just Palamar (OP's account) you earned profit of $53k using "value bets".

Once a month something like this is posted by a brand new account acting innocent and putting on a show to try and get some money. Not sure why they choose to waste everyone's time with some bs story about how they were innocently placing some bets and were randomly restricted.
Stake has millions of users and for someone to be suspended from the website in a situation like OP is describing is not arbitrary. We don't suspended users for just having multi-accounts we suspend them for using multiple accounts for the sake of abuse.
This individual placing bets obtained their profit from betting on sports not casino and is linked to 15+ accounts. They made these accounts to circumvent limits and restrictions put on previous accounts and have used their entire extended family's ID along with other potentially bought or borrowed ID's to get around these limits. We have a number of methods that gave us very high confidence to link these accounts beyond the ID's used. I don't want to share all details of the investigation as they will try to find ways to circumvent in the future.

Anyone having any login issues on Stake this morning? I haven't been able to login in spite of multiple attempts. The issue I'm having seems to be in relation to the email confirmation to log in. After solving the captcha it takes me back to the login screen with my username and password, but no popup for the email code or email being sent. This results in the only option being to click on the login button again, which brings you back to solving the captcha, which then leads you back to the login screen. Is anyone else seeing an issue with the email code entrance popup not loading or no emails being sent? Wondering if it may be a browser issue, as that tends to be the problem when TOR has been recently updated.

This is very helpful! I just thought I'd add that all most of these providers offer two different levels of RTP which the casino operator can select from. There's lots of casinos that pick the lower RTP option to increase their margin.
