Re: Is bitcoin a threat to USD and Pound Sterling?
by

on 28/08/2018, 13:36:01 UTC
Of course, not! Not yet, at least. Are you kidding? BTC is a fetus as compared to those two fiats. Besides, it is totally different from them and people don't seem to know its real potential. Until they do, no one can be 100% certain as to whether it could pose any threat to other currencies. We can speculate however we wish, but that doesn't change the fact: we know almost nothing about it.

Talking is different than doing, you know, so remaining calm could be a pretty tough task for many of us. However, we all must remember that getting nervous leads to some serious irreparable harm, so try to keep it in mind at all times Cool

I guess, waiting makes sense now, but watch it closely and know what you're doing. Try to be responsible for your decisions, anyway. Nobody knows you better than you do Cool

I envy you all who have developed their patience. It sometimes is too hard to control yourself and stay calm and patient. Anyway, I'm trying to learn how to remain as patient as I can, but every time is different and I do my best Wink

I absolutely agree with those who believe in hodling at this time. I don't mind the risk, but the risk should be reasonable. Moreover, I don't really like it when some people think they know everybody else's situation.
So, keep on hodling as long as it seems beneficial. Cool

Today i am decided to that i want to buy some ETH but in this bear market i have get panicked because ETH is continuously dying. So what should i do now? Can i invest in ETH or not? Please give me some suggestion.

I believe, ETH is a low-risk investment as compared to the rest of the altcoins and absolutely worth investing.
You may wish to comb the forum to find a lot of evidence to support my claim.
Hopefully, that helps Cool

Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December?
by
Subwooferred
on 28/08/2018, 11:00:03 UTC
The truth is Bitcoin is totally unpredictable and all you can do here is just observe and accept the price fluctuations. What I mean is NOBODY ever can predict exactly the BTC's behavior.
However, some experts believe the next ATH might not occur within two or three years from now.
It's sad, but that's what it is...

Bitcoin is good for those who took the risk and bought it, and is useless for those who chose not to take any risk of getting it Wink

Re: Crypto is dangerous....

I wouldn't put it exactly this way... It's definitely risky. On the other hand, what isn't?
Even usual food could be dangerous because of potential choking, food poisoning, etc.
I believe before getting into crypto people must learn the basics of security. Of course, we can also learn it after we start trading crypto, but it might prove to be too expensive in the end...

Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year?
by

Why not? What can prevent it from going down?
On the other hand, it might as well go up  Cool I believe it might reach 12k, or even less, 10k
Anyways, I'm ready even for more or less significant drop.

Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins?

Since I haven't bought btc, because some of my clients pay me in btc, I don't lose anything when the price goes down. Therefore, I can wait until pigs fly or Bitcoin reaches the moon, depending on which event happens sooner Wink

Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment?
by
Subwooferred
on 05/08/2018, 18:19:47 UTC
I do believe in Bitcoin as most of us here, but it has shown its exponential growth only once (!) in its lifetime and it has been out there for quite a short period of time for us to be able to make a long-term projections of its movement and tell whether it will grow that much ever again. We simply don't know as there is no reliable historical data. That is why I'd say if you're willing to take a very high risk then go ahead, invest in bitcoin and God bless you. If you'd like to sleep well without permanent checking the market figures, you should invest into good old property, but be ready to invest some portion of the money you have into Bitcoin... IMHO.
Maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Bitcoin Regulation Gradual , Going mainstream
by
Subwooferred
on 05/08/2018, 16:40:55 UTC
Unlike many people, I believe regulations are good for Bitcoin and crypto. I understand it'll bring more stability and trust. The value, most probably, will go down and it'll cease to be that lucrative, but it's okay. You can't have both, so you'll have to choose between the profitability and stability.

Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin
by

I understand that BTC and Blockchain are closely related, but I think their relation is a one-side traffic, i.e. BTC IS dependent on Blockchain, while Blockchain isn't dependent on BTC.
So, Blockchain can survive without BTC and not vice versa, IMO.

Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins?
by

on 04/07/2018, 10:20:17 UTC
Will be a huge obstacle to the development of bitcoin and altcoin! I said that most countries will support Bitcoin and altcoin! But it takes time for every nation to realize it!
 Grin Grin Grin

Yeah, not only does it "take time for every nation to realize it," but it'll take quite a while for the governments to find a way out of the stalemate: on the one hand, it could bring them big profits, on the other - they can't control it, so it could potentially bring about some trouble, which isn't something a government would like to get into Wink
