I feel a somebody who has done murder or rape needs to be given death penalty. But for other offences they can be penalized with money. As of most of the thefts happen due to needs which they can't fulfill and we can't give them death penalty.

I would say yes but wait for some correction post august 1st then you can purchase bitcoins even below $2500. You wouldn't be at loss even if you purchase now but the amount of profit you would make will be less.

Don't invest all your funds in single fund. Out of 100% invest 30% in bitcoin, 30% in government bonds and 40% in Equities. You will be on safer side as you wouldn't lose all your hard earned monies...

Suggestion from me just hold on with your bitcoins, it would fetch you the best returns in the coming 2 years... later on you can spend some on shopping websites from additional bitcoins you earn during this 2 year time frame.

I like this coin, I believe they are working on new features in their 1.6 version.

Thats the difference between a scam and this.

SCAM

Release 1 gimmick feature and lots of diagrams telling you what they going to develop. (99% never happens and devs move to new project)

Gulden

They keep the release details a secret so other coins don't steal their ideas because they actually developing something.

I don't those guys from AUR have finished trying to destroy the coins price , so I would wait another month before buying into Gulden.

do yourself a favour and wait for the dump before buying in.

I am fairly new to altcoins so I have to ask thi question: How did you predict that there is going to be a dump. Is there a way for understanding if a coin is going to be dumped or pumped soon?

It is easy to pump & dump a coin if there is almost no-one buying or selling on the exchanges.

Check: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NLG

Go to: ´Orderbook´ and filter prices to ´all´.

You will see that no-one is willing to buy for these ridiculous prices. (the green area = buying)

Its still unbelievable the prices stayed this ´high' for the past 8 hours. There is no buy-support.

Edit: if you dont know anything about trading/altcoins/etc... just stay away coz you´ll get screwed over.

Sidenote: Coin itself is allright, but there is no market to support these prices.

It has rebounded from more then 8 dumps to the 12k price level, going from 400, even if the coin settles at 4k-5k it has made the best gains of the year for any alt.
It was 1 person (LTEX from AUR) who dumped about 1 - 1.5 million coins early this morning that he picked up early on in 2014. Can't blame the guy for taking profits.

I didn't want to post this in the Gulden Announcement page to avoid bias opinions but wanted to know if Gulden is a safe bet compared to other alt coins. The reason I am asking is I noticed there ranking on coinmarketcap is way below other coins that have nothing going for them or is it that the other alt coins are way over priced?

I hope you invested dude. Litesire one of the posters I respect on btctalk has always said this will be the one to take litecoins place. I never believed it then but I don't know anymore.

Gulden was 387sat when you posted this, it is stable at 1000sat today and holding strong. More people are coming around and putting money into a REAL project! The days of scam coins getting the limelight are soon over with the 1.6.0 release.

Re: Gulden to break out after Brexit?
by
SuicidalTendencies
on 26/06/2016, 00:33:09 UTC
Do you think Gulden is going to benefit from the Brexit as it a EuroZone focussed cryptocurrency that already has the best mobile apps available in crypto allowing payments at all bitcoin and gulden merchants + Iban transfers.

Gulden has the most exciting roadmap this year with Prime and other projects coming out. Brexit or not it's going to be a hit! The lead developer is freakishly good, but yes bitcoin will benefit short term as it's the established currency as toke says.

Gulden has a great development team. MaNI the lead developer is very much a unknown but by next year will have made a name for himself. Besides the great development team they have built a services platform called Nocks. I have watched and supported Gulden for awhile and what you see is what you get. No fake trade volumes, no big whales constantly pumping and dumping it and exchanges that take bribes like Poloniex haven't added Gulden.

This is why it's the only coin I verbally support and it's a true reflection of what crypto should be about and not this cestpool of get rich schemes the altcoin world has manifested into.

Re: Ethereum scamming with the help of Coinmarketcap - 18% premine not significant?
by
SuicidalTendencies
on 26/06/2016, 00:20:32 UTC
Please do not conflate ICO coins with premined, instamined, or stealthmined coins. If the ICO coins were distributed at the market price then that is not a premine. The problem is that ICOs can be manipulated as follows.

Apparently they need to include WAVES in the "significantly premined". Please note that every ICO is likely "significantly premined" because the issuers can borrow BTC to buy the ICO from themselves, then pay back the loan (with the BTC they paid themselves) giving themselves free ICO tokens and giving the illusion that they raised more money than they really did:

Instead please continue growing the platform. People just love to waste time in here.

Please don't try to cover up the truth. Let him answer.

The same question will be asked of Rise and Lisk.

They already distributed 9 million coins to themselves. That's plenty of coins to manipulate the market when the supply is set at 100 million, with no more to ever be created. They are also using 1K of ICO funds to buy back even more coins. Interesting how the market appears to be suppressed now. They also distributed 4 million coins to "strategical partners and backers."

Thank you for the information. I hope someone can document that, so it is a fact and not a hearsay.

I hope he also answers my question.

I am not here to play altcoin police. So I will not harp on this. Speculators should be free to do what ever they want and decide to use trust instead of trustless paradigms if they so desire.

I've asked the questions. Cheers.

The bolded part in your response is exactly what ETH/DAO is. Not to say these maniacs can't push the price much higher in the future but the con will only last so long.

Gulden is the biggest threat to the status quo, poloniex the scam pushing exchange won't add Gulden for the same reason which is a good thing, same with cryptsy (when it was around). Yet anyone that uses Gulden knows what a gem it is.

ETH backers and the inner circle clearly have a lot of money to throw around, they have investors with large btc holdings using bots to push high trade volumes on exchanges like Poloniex and also investors who are borrowing at very low interest rates in the US and Europe and pumping it into ETH. ETH will crash hard if and when interest rates rise in the US or Europe.

ETH is a crypto illusion , the same as the over valuation of the stock markets in the world, people will play them and some will get out in time and the rest will get burnt.

Why not do a crowdfunding for a new forum? .5 btc for a person to build a new forum for Gulden and another btc to maintain for a year ?

I can setup a forum for 1.5btc. I will hand it over to the dev team when completed.
